She insulted her hair, calling it "gummy" when this is a child who takes so much pride in caring for her hair and has the healthiest, shiny, full, long, beautiful hair and gets compliments everywhere she goes. Carole proceeded to say all the things she couldn't do, and each time we compromised, she made something new up. It was clear she just didn't want to put the effort into working and complained about how many foils she would have to use. She has terrible customer service and clearly doesn't have the knowledge to work on different hair types or complete color services that are requested. This was our only opportunity for a back to school color, and she ruined it while being so mean to a young teen. Never go to her!!

The owner, (cannot remember his name exactly but I believe it's Wilkins, but please don't quote me) AnyWho, the point is, he absolutely did a fabulous job! I brought in a picture but honestly, he knew exactly what I was looking for. Didn't even need a picture. He nailed it! I just wanna say too besides doing fabulous work on your hair, him and his staff are beyond welcoming. I'm disabled and I didn't feel uncomfortable or anything.. the salon itself was nice, clean, and very inviting. I really enjoyed my time there. It took about two hours to do my hair and it felt like it was 20 minutes. He definitely went above and beyond and didn't gouge the bank account. I appreciate honesty and good work. My favorite thing about her is she listens to what I want, talks me off the edge when I'm about to make a spontaneous reckless hair decision, and ALWAYS has the health of my hair in mind. I love that she is always staying on top of new innovative hair-health treatments. I also love that she take her profession seriously. In the past I've had hair stylist laugh when they tell me they fell asleep during their continuing education classes... but NOT Kelly Jo. When KJ goes to one of her required continuing education classes she comes back inspired and talking my ears off about what she has learned or been reminded of. This place is called Studio 10 on google. I went here today and they butchered my hair. The OWNER…read moredid my hair, Amy. It took me years to get my hair down to my butt. I asked them to keep my length as best as possible. She cut my hair by about 2-3 inches initially. I gave her photos and videos of my desired look. I even brought in my wig during my initial consultation. She said she could do it. It was suppose to be 95% ash blonde, almost looking white/silver with a slight pink undertone and the rest black. Only a quarter of the top of my head plus the bottom layer was meant to be black. She did the ENTIRE from of my bangs black and way tooooo much on the sides. Not only that but she didn't bleach my hair enough and it looked bright yellow. She never used a toner and then proceeded to but grey over it. My hair now looks slightly green and the black is all over. She also didn't use conditioner and used her hand to comb through my hair. I had to fight back tears while she "combed" through my hair. TWICE!! Once after the bleach and once after the color. I could feel her ripping my hair out and watched it fall to the floor from all the tearing and ripping. She asked if I wanted my hair layered and I said yes, she proceeded to cut an additional 6 inches off my length. I wanted to get out SOOOOO badly that I just said whatever at that point and wanted to go home. My head still hurts over 4 hours after leaving. It looks nothing like the picture and she cut my hair to my f*cking nips. It was originally down to my *ss when I got there. They were just 4 blocks from my house so I walked home crying the whole way back. I look soooooo UGLY!!!! I will never return and do NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Spent $285 plus $50 tip cuz I was trying to be nice. NEVER AGAIN
