July 2, 2026: I just came back from having my hair done at Hair Cuttery on S. Broad St. in Lansdale, and as always, am extremely pleased with the result. I've been going there for about 17 years and trust the expertise of the stylists. One of the things that keeps me coming back is the camaraderie that is so prevalent; you can tell that the stylists get along well with each other, as well as with their clients. After a few visits, it really begins to feel like family. Sometimes the chatter is about fun things, and other times it can be about more serious topics, but it is always inclusive and open to everybody who chooses to participate. My stylist is Rachel. Getting to know her was easy, for she is a warm and personable woman. Rachel is known for paying attention to details, especially when it comes to what her clients want. She really listens and hears what is asked of her and, as she gets to know you, makes solid recommendations based on her over 20 years' experience. After 17 years of sitting in her chair, I know she wants me to be happy with the final result. This time around was no exception: Rachel did an outstanding job once again. I wish I can say I had the same experience as the other reviews. I scheduled an appointment, went in for a simple hair cut with picture references and I received the worst haircut I've ever had from Julia. I look like someone's rebellious son trying to grow their hair out. There's no way I went into a salon and had a professional intentionally do this to my hair. I would've done a better job on myself at home. Mind you, she asked if I wanted layers, said it would look good and started cutting them BEFORE I answered- then proceeded to carelessly chop least 2/3 of my hair above my ears. I didn't realize exactly how bad it was until it dried. I had scheduled an appointment online, if she didn't have time to fit me in, I would've preferred if it was rescheduled. I hated this hair Salon they cut my sister hair so short she nows has to look like ugly dora she wanted it up to her collar bone her hair looked like lord Farquaad no but literally she said she got confused like how bit if u got ears u slow she didn't have to pay but who let the girl who did my sister hair out of cosmetology and when she was let go she had all hair on her like blow dry. It dont go here they are botched hair Stylists I wish you would delete my review. I'm trying to let people know how it's real over here. I will sue y'all butts you're lucky. My son has never had a hair cut this bad! He had to go to Springhouse to have it fixed....now this is a great place! Also the stylist was rude and told my son" well u wanted 3 inches off and u got it!" She had no time to take any more hair off, she said...so with a Bob haircut from North Wales, they fixed it in Springhouse! He thanks you! read more

It's 4:30 on a Saturday and I walked in for a edge up. When I entered a lady from the back hollered up to the front and asked if I had an appointment. I'm new to the area and did not have an appointment however saw that walk ins were acceptable. I advised of what I wanted and another young lady states that there were two people ahead of me after there was an big sigh from her. She stated that they had been really busy however I let her know that after that reception I did not want to be serviced here and would reach out to the manager/owner. You get what you pay for, sort of. Not picky and came here for a simple, fade cut. Had to ask to clean up the back of the neck and go over the sides again since several hairs were missed and this is fade cut 101. Regular hair cut comes with wash (shampoo / conditioner) but they didn't even ask and didn't provide the service I purchased. I was in a bit of a hurry and just wanted to get out so didn't care so much. Staff wasn't rude or anything, but overall experience was nothing special and you can definitely go to any Supercuts or high volume place down the street for the same level of service. Fine for a walk-in to handle a teenage boy's basic haircut. I would not recommend for adults or your daughter. Not charity-friendly, not familiar nor supportive of hair donation foundations (Locks for Love, Children's Alopecia). Staff could benefit from customer service training. We went to a charming salon down the road instead and they got us in for an appointment within half an hour. There are many other options in this area and we would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I've been using this salon on and off for years. I'm considering not anymore. Why, you may ask? Being treated poorly on a couple occasions. I'm using an anonymous name because my reasons are unique to me. I'm transgender and at one visit, I was told that the entire situation (my transition even tho I never disclosed it but she remembered me) was just weirdness. She backwardsly tried to make me feel okay by saying she'd take care of me because she takes care of all the odd ones that the others don't want to service. Her name was Miranda. More recently, I was told they'd be right with me. After waiting five minutes for them to even check me in, I sat down. I waited another 15 before they finally decided to speak to me again and checked me in. Another 10 minutes until they all ignored me (manager was sitting at her station doing whatever) and someone finally came out of the back to cut my hair. The cut sucked, she gave me her card and told me I should call her to be seen because she's the one who works with people like me, but my cuts would be $21 instead of $18. Yes, I know the master stylists make more, but this was blatant discrimination for a haircut. read more

The Hair Cuttery at The Pavilion in Lansdale, PA is great! I was a little nervous about going to a new place without an appointment, but my hair really needed to be trimmed. I had to wait about 45 minutes because they were busy, and I didn't have an appointment. Totally worth the wait! Ashley was very knowledgeable and understood that I just wanted a trim. Hair Cuttery Pavilion at Lansdale is a truly phenomenal salon. When I first moved to the Philadelphia area, I had difficulty finding a stylist who could keep my platinum blonde hair looking ashy without any brass. I was spending over $400 a month at a salon in Manayunk and still having orange, brassy tones in my hair by week three. After trying the Hair Cuttery in Lansdale, I was blown away by the skill level of the staff and their ability to get icy, cool tones back into my hair without it fading away too quickly. They know blonde hair and certainly do great job with brunettes, too. About a month ago, I decided to go with a warmer, Autumn tone for the upcoming season and would highly recommend Miranda. She is a color expert and was able to take my bleached, over-processed hair and turn it into a beautiful warm hair color by mixing dark browns, reds, and carmels. It now looks like I have very healthy, shiny hair. Would strongly recommend this salon and believe it is a great, reasonably priced salon for hair color, hair cuts, and eyebrow waxing.
