Every time I come up North to visit my sister, I always try to carve out time to come and get my hair blown out. There are times you just don't feel like washing, drying and styling after an 8 hour drive. Right? I have VERY thick hair and there is a LOT of it. It takes me forever to dry it and my arms ache when I'm done. It is such a nice luxury having someone else do it The ladies at this Hair Cuttery are so nice and friendly. You feel like your having coffee with a friend who happens to do your hair as you catch up. The only thing that does bug me is the price difference for thick hair blow outs vs regular hair but they do such a nice job Due to Covid they can't take too many walk INS as they used to. If they don't have appts then they can take them but I'd advise just going online and booking instead of taking a chance. read more

I love to get my hair washed and blown out at the salon vs. doing it at home. As of late, I've been frequenting the Springhouse Hair Cuttery since it's closest to my home. The price point for a blowout is reasonable, which helps me to not feel guilty for getting it done often! Tanya did my hair...she knows what she's doing. In addition to that, Tanya is professional and knowledgeable about hair. At the same time, she's warm, easy to talk to and upbeat. If you want a "classless" salon, with a classless manager this place is for you. The motto here seems to be "the customer is ALWAYS" wrong. No apologies for a defective product...just attitude from the Manager. I see why they have a 1 star overall review...very deserving. A "neighborhood" salon should step up their game and not chase customers away with unsolicited attitude. I wait till I can travel to the hair cuttery in VIrginia (!) or the one in Warminster, PA to avoid this Springhouse location. Save yourself and find a different location. read more

A few days ago, we made a styling appointment for my daughter. When we showed up today, the manager greeted us with, "what do you want?" I said we had an appointment at 3 PM and she responded immediately with, "no, there are no appointments scheduled for today." I explained when we made the appointment and with who, to which she let out one of the most annoying, almost teenager-like, sighs I've heard, asked for our name/phone number, and then said she'll try to get us in. For the next few minutes she went around arguing with and harassing the stylists, then--thankfully--left. This is one of the best examples of poor management and poor customer service I've ever witnessed. We won't be going back again. And, in the words of my daughter, "that's the tea, sis!" read more

Customer loyalty isn't the priority at springhouse plaza.they reel you in then make it very difficult to get back in especially if you're working! all they seem to care about is the numbers! I liked Heidi she was pleasant, respectful, and good at her job.Now I'm looking at supercuts and another place.! I work all the time, they should accommodate customers who work- some of us still work and can't leave our jobs to take care of our hair! Website for Springhouse location says open until 8pm. Get there at 6:40pm. Woman says they're "done for the night". No line, just us. Dismissive and somewhat rude. She tells me the hours fluctuate depending on the night and staff. Their website should say, "Hours: depends on the day, no set hours." read more

All I can say is drive right by this salon. If you can't --stay away from Adrian. I went in with long hair for a trim and came out with a short haircut that looks like it was cut with a bowl on my head. THere is no way to fix this. Been going to this HairCuttery for many, many years. Over the past several weeks there has been a notable change for the worse. This seems to coincide with the return of a former manager. My stylist, who promised me she would always find time for my 12 minute cut, said when I called for an appt on recent Saturday that she couldn't see me until the following Friday. ?? When I stopped in to see her in person on the following day and ask what was the issue she offered a "five minute cut" which was really just a quick trim to hold me over. When I then scheduled a time on Friday for a complete haircut, she advised, by text, that she would have to charge me again (I paid full price and gave a generous tip for the five-minute hold over). I'm done with these people. Customer service means nothing to them anymore. Simply classless! read more

Place needs a TV or music or something, because the two older women sat in the barber chairs facing each other, gabbing about their friends, and the young one didn't really say a word. read more

I had an appointment for 3:45 last Saturday. Trim and blowout. I arrived at 3:25, hoping maybe I could be taken early. It was busy, so I sat and waited. People ahead of me were called to come back, and when they were all taken, and I was left, the manager went to the back, to do something, and didn't return. It was 4:05 when a stylist who was working on someone called to me and said she was sorry, but she didn't understand why I wasn't waited on yet. Accommodating and very friendly service this visit. They took their time with my hair (I got color done) and I liked all of the staff I met. I'd come again, as long as it was the staff they had today. The hair color came out nice and my hair looks really pretty. I will have to rescind my previous review... I might have been overly sensitive because I was postpartum and a bit wound up (ok, crazy) back then! My bad. Had a wonderful experience last week at this salon. My stylist was very, very professional like I was in one of those high-class downtown Philadelphia salons. I received a hair cut, shampoo, conditioning treatment, and waxing services. I was very pleased. Even purchased a moisturizer that my stylist used on my hair. I am going to college next week so I wanted to get my hair cut and colored. I decided to go for the cheaper option and get my hair cut here. The woman was clearly rushing- 15 minutes to wash and cut my hair. I showed with my hands where I wanted it cut and said "just under my collarbone". I walked out with a literal bob. The layers are horrible. The cut and layers are all uneven, with little pieces of extra long hair sticking out the bottom. I came home crying. read more
