My daughter kept informing me Mom the one side of your face is not symmetrical with the other side. In addition, behind my ears were the incisions were does not fit properly. There's lumps and bumps behind my ears which are tender and at times painful. When I went back, Dr. Shapiro told me that I would have to pay to use the room to have a revision. (based on something that he didn't do correctly) I was extremely upset upon hearing this information and the amount it was going to be. I think it's absurd when procedures aren't done correctly that they want to charge again for something that they didn't do, right. I would never recommend young medical spa in Lansdale to anyone who wanted to get a procedure like this done. Admittedly, the price was too good to be true. I see why now...

At the 4 month mark I asked another doctor to switch me since Dr. Bonnie was no longer employed there, and she did! On the Tirzepatide I experienced much less hunger or the desire to eat. After week 1, I did feel that this medicine was working much better. Upon thinking about how I spent $2,500 to only lose 10 pounds, I was extremely saddened and called Diana to speak with her about it. She expressed remorse that this had happened to me and said I should have come to her much sooner instead of Dr. Bonnie and she would have switched me over to the Tirzepatide. She said she would speak with Dr. Young (the owner) to see how they can best compensate me for all the money I spent and easily lost as it did not work for me! I went very early on my next appointment planning to see Diana and hoping to speak with Dr. Young, seeking a resolution. Diana greeted me, took me in the room where the nurse Natasha gave me my shot and I never saw her again. I sat waiting in the room for at least 10 minutes before Natasha returned to say that Dr. Young and Diana discussed my situation and will give me my weekly Tirzepatide shots ($199) for the same price as Semaglutide ($149) the remainder of December and all of January for the trouble! She went on to say that the injection is not a "miracle cure", and that I can't continue to eat cheeseburgers and expect to lose weight! The weird part is that the owner knows me by name b/c my husband and I frequently get massages at in balance. The owner starting raising her voice and yelling at me on the phone. We have never missed an appointment before so her reaction and behavior is ridiculous. I informed if she charged me for not showing I would no longer book massages at her studio. She was fine with that and charged me full price for the massage even though her cancellation policy fee is $50. This whole interaction is beyond bizarre and between the studios use of an app they know is an issue, not receiving a confirmation via text or email, being charged full price after explaining the issue was not within my control and then being treated poorly and yelled out we won't be back.
