Well done. Due to an unfortunate car accident, my prior hair stylist had to retire. With an upcoming speaking engagement, I decided to give the Hair Cuttery a try. I was promptly greeted and noticed that it was a very busy place. I saw that as a good thing. The wait area is basic, but neat, clean and features a wall full of products to use at home. After a short wait, a very nice lady named Hui came up front to escort me to her chair. She asked the typical questions and looked at what was there to form a plan. It's easy to spot a confident professional and that describes Miss Hui. She got me back in shape and on my way. My wife was pleased with the result. I will go back. read more

I had a highlight/color service with Michelle. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. They are very welcoming. I painted a specific detail of how I wanted my hair, and although it came out beautifully, Michelle had said to me the colors didn't pop as bright as she wanted them, and immediately offered for me to come back and correct it. I can't tell you how rare this is and how much I appreciate a stylist saying "Hey, I know this isn't exactly what you wanted so we can fix it!" instead of trying to pass it off (it did still look gorgeous) and move onto the next client. Sarah did a great job on my hair! I came in to have my clip-in extensions put it and an updo done. My price was discussed in the the consultation and was agreed upon. I was at the register, being rung out, the manager left her client in the shampoo bowl to run to the front of the salon to tell Sarah (infront of me as well) that there is an additional charge (almost $20 higher) for putting in my extensions. (I've never had to pay for this in the past). I was blown away at the lack of profesionalism from the manager. I already agreed to a price and unexpectedly had to pay a much higher price. To announce that infront of a client and to leave your client does not set a good look for yourself and to the rest of the salon. What a lack of leadership and profesionalism!!! I wish I was able to give Sarah 5 stars because she definately deserves it, the manager deserves 0. read more

I have been following Candace around as a loyal client for over 10 yrs and I now drive 26 miles for her to cut my hair. This last time, she out did herself! I love the cut, the style, the length. I told her I wanted Bethanny Frankel's cut, I pulled out my phone, showed her a pic, and she went to work on my hair. I have had nothing but compliments on my cut. I am always greeted by a courteous staff when I come in, the place is clean and kept up. Nothing but 5 stars for Candace and Hair Cuttery! Worth the drive for me. read more

First I would like to apologize for my reviews of this place. I said things that were very hateful towards someone who works here and to be honest that's just not me. With everything going on in today's world I would like to inspire love instead of hate. I'm sorry. This is a wonderful place with some pretty cool stylists. My bad experience was merely because of time. I wasn't treated fairly when I was skipped by another customer who came in after me with no explanation as to why when I was already waiting longer than expected. Things like that can really get to customers when they don't know the ins and outs to a hair salon. Overall I'm sorry I over reacted with pure hate and anger. Just be honest with the customer. If it's going to be over half an hour wait time then caution me so I know and can be prepared to wait or come back. It's fair. If they still get mad well then you can say, "You should've called and made an appointment." So thank you to all the stylists that I had as you may know I'm bad with names and I hope god forgives me for my sins. read more

My daughter and I had been wanting haircuts for weeks. The last hair cut was at a different Hair Cuttery, before that a great clips, and we were still looking for another place still searching for a place we can count on after 2.5 years of living in the area. Well, we checked in online. We got there on time, but we're left waiting a while. We had time and didn't mind plus the place was hopping and we hoped that was a good sign. I went back first, then my daughter. Kim did a great job on my hair. I will see her again! I was worried about my daughter's hair because she cut off several inches- she was going from long to short in one haircut and Dee talked with her about her hair and had a plan at the beginning and really knew what she was doing. When my daughter made my appt, haircut & color was $59 The stylist decided to do what she wanted, & told me , $230 + tip usually 20%.. was floored. Why coloring my gray wasn't enough, I don't know & when I asked what was in the small bowl, 2 md step, it was bleach , I didn't ask nor need bleach...she also is the AM & too busy ,left me to wait on others & colored another clients hair...I am legally blind & cant even see the color so bleach was not needed. I was there 3 hours & my daughter came back because I hadn't called & was very sad cause I didn't even have my haircut yet! read more

I don't usually spoil myself when it comes to haircuts. I am low maintenance, and I work from home. But I had a super busy week last week, and I needed a little pampering. I was a walk in. I was tended to quickly. The stylist was amazing! I was so tired I forget her name. I told her what I was looking for. She pulled up pictures of ideas she had, and was right on the button with what I was looking for. She washed my hair. Cut it, explaining what she was doing. And then blew it dry. She took time after to explain the cut, and did a few adjustments to make sure I was 100% happy. I will definitely use this salon again when I am in the area! read more
