Sky gave me the worst haircut of my life. Asked for shoulder length cut, came away with a butchered mullet--and not even the trendy kind. Layers are all over the place with no consistency. I have one ridiculously short chunk of hair on the side of my head. Mission failed, Sky. Now at a different salon trying to get this fixed. Hair cuttery Rte 73, Marlton is horrible. Three time I made an appointment at least a week in advance and twice the stylist was behind schedule and never acknowledged my appointment or me waiting, for a good half hour. I left there both times without the haircut. The third time I decided to take the first appointment for the day. Marc knew I was a rescheduled appointment of his. I guess he didn't care and doesn't value his clients because after 15 minutes of me waiting again, and one of the girls texting him. I am told that he is going to be over an hour late to work that day; ridiculous and very unprofessional. But, I guess they did me a favor because if they can't even keep an appointment, I hate to see what they would have done to my hair. Go somewhere else. read more

Requested an appointment online and it was not honored. I showed up HOURS after I had requested the appointment (therefore if it was an issue, it's not that hard to call someone) The extremely rude elderly woman said "I don't know how it let you in cause I have a color right now." I didn't specifically need her as a stylist as there were also two other stylists present. She also tried to charge me for "curly" hair when my hair had a slight wave to it since I just took it out of my braid. Just avoid this location, I've been to other locations with MUCH friendlier service. I would rather drive 10 minutes further and go to Supercuts. read more

I've been here since I was 13 years old! I strongly suggest getting the lady with the short hair to cut your hair (her chair is the first one on the right) and the man is also good. The asian lady is alright - she cuts your hair really quickly. I usually just get my bangs or ends trimmed here to clean it up. There are lollipops too :) They also have the 2 for 30 dollar redken shampoo specials several times a year. I never run out of shampoo because of them! read more

Everyone very friendly but guy had no clue what he was doing. The one girl was very nice and helped the guy out w my hair. But they all acted like it was the end of the world n my fault they had to stay 20 mins passed closing to blow dry my hair he did not leave everything in my hair the correct amount of time just so they can get out of there and were very open n loud about it. Not sure why anyone would want to go here. I have been to different hair cuttery and different hair salon and was never charged a long hair fee. My hair was about 2 inches below my shoulder and it was considered long hair. Best part, no one told me of a long hair fee until it was time to pay. Tried talking to the manager and informing that this is not normal and the manager asked me to come back to measure my hair for a refund. The manager even advised this mistake has happened in the past. I would highly recommend this place if you want to pay a long hair fee of $10. Is $10 really worth losing a customer? read more

I am very picky, I have a LOT of hair and it is long and very thick, so when i get a bad haircut it really stands out. I have tried expensive salons, cheap salons, everything in between, and it always looked like crap. Then I found Carly at Haircuttery!! She cuts my hair PERFECTLY every time, and I always get compliments on my hair now. I will never go to anyone else ever again. Everyone there is always so nice and they care of us right away. My husband also goes there and always comes home looking really good. The different stylists have different specialties, so you have to ask who they recommend for your particular hair. read more

This is the place where i officially got the worst haircut EVER. I've been to some cheap (low-cost, not dirty) hair style places, but they usually have decent, hard working stylists who want to make your hair looks good. And I'm also not picky about my hair, nor do i get anything trendy or sophisticated. I've also been here before and had okay experiences with other stylists... not this time. This time, I got this old, ignorant, Asian woman who did what SHE wanted, not remotely what I asked for and after i told her I wasn't happy, she told me that it looked good and that she was happy with it so i should be. she told me to stop playing with it... I looked like Ted Danson from Cheers, with the quaff. who the hell wants to look like that?? It's not 1988! And what a rude, obnoxious person. she actually slapped my hand away from my own hair when i tried to fix this poofy poodle cut. still here? there's more: I get skin irritations from product, and i've been trying to find a decent one that won't effect my skin. I asked her and she got very defensive. she then insisted that "no one can ever get skin irritation on their foreheads from hair products; it's your shampoo". I've been using the same shampoo for years and it onbly happens when i use hair styling products... her reaction? you guessed it:"it's your shampoo." ?!?! I was just hoping for an honest recommendation for a different product... she had none. She just kept asking me, in shock, "you get irritation? not from product. shampoo." Seriously, the entire cut, she couldn't let this go. She did however slather my head with something that, after two weeks, I'm still having an extreme allergic reaction to. I had asked her not to put anything in my hair, but she insisted that it was the right thing to do. Do yourself a favor, if you do go here, stay as far away from this ignorant woman as you can.
