I have been here a many times over the past year and the only thing I have experienced other than bad customer service is dip nails that completely chipped off in 2 weeks. I have tried to this give place a chance over and over again but this is my last straw. I have only gotten gel from here but I tried dip because my gel nails always chip. Dip is not supposed to chip day of, which happened to me when I got home. They have continued to chip since and now, 2 weeks after I got them done, they are almost completely gone. I am very upset because my nails did turn out very very nice. Some of them have not chipped yet but have huge cracks in them which will chip at any moment. read more

I really would love to point out how amazingly speckless this salon was inside. I adore their plants , I was warmly greeted and was sat immediately for my refill gel acrylic with Annie. At first I was skeptical because it was my first time, I mean seriously who wouldn't be? Right? I asked a couple of questions to my nail tech just to get some kind of conversation going and she was pretty receptive. I never have no idea or clue what I envision for my manicure to be but it doesn't take much for me to be erotic for my nails. Annie took her time to diligently remove, shape and color my mani. She even cleaned up my cuticles (dry) which did NOT hurt whatsoever. I appreciate her flawless performance under an hour. It was everything and more than what I had expected. Despite now they know my background ethnicity, I will truly come back just for Annie to continue her exertions on me. I'd definitely give this place a five star next time when I come in for my pedicure. Can't wait to post more in further details. And special thanks to Annie :) read more

This was my first time going to Brio Beauty Lounge and i honestly wanted to like it since so many reviews have said how great they are. I usually go to a different nail salon but i just got back from a 3 week vacation and 2 of my nails had broke. My usual girl just so happens to be on vacation this week so i thought i would try Brio and get nails done/fixed. I have acrylics so i got an acrylic refill with a gel polish on top. I don't want to go too into detail of why I am disappointed but all in all the work is very messy, i have spots on multiple fingers that aren't covered with polish and the shape of my nails are not all the same. To be honest - the experience I had may have been just an off-day for the staff or maybe it's indicative of what really happens behind closed doors, but my experience was awful here. For starters, the manicure I got was significantly overpriced. I'm not even really into getting my nails done let alone paying an arm and a leg for someone to roughly paint my nails for me. I'd prefer to destroy my own hands for half the price, thank you very much. When I arrived with my mother, we were treated like we were in the staff's way. No one communicated with us in any sort of friendly tone the entire time we were there. On top of that, the spa was completely empty and yet they made us sit with our backs to one another.... what? How incredibly awkward. They also yelled over us at each other the entire time. I'm not sure if they were feuding or not but their tone toward one another seemed heated. If I wanted witness drama like that I'd be painting my own nails on my own couch while watching Vanderpump Rules. We couldn't figure out the massage chairs (don't judge us lol) and the staff watched us struggle and eventually give up without making any effort to assist. They talked ABOUT us the entire time and then proceeded to treat any question we had as an absolute burden. Can you tell I didn't love it here? Queen Nails or any other nail place in Marlton did a far superior job with less drama. read more

I was searching for a location that was convenient, clean, and did great work and I found all three in Brio. They use a new file for every customer, which is so refreshing and hygienic. The reviews were absolutely spot on. This salon on Main Street in Marlton is a diamond in the ruff. I have been looking for a local salon for 2 weeks to get my gel overlay refilled. The website and Yelp reviews convinced me to give Brio a try. Trang greeting me when I came in and instructed me to pick the nail polish color I wanted. Unlike other salons, they have generous options for both regular and gel colors. Trang did my gel refill and my eyebrows. Both came out great and I was in an out in 1hr flat...thats unheard of, especially for two services that were performed expertly! I have definately found my new salon. Not impressed with my second visit...as a matter of fact, disappointed and I will not be giving my business to this nail salon. You would think that with all of these wonderful ratings, this place would have 5 star nail technicians all around, but they don't as I found out Saturday, 12/1. Called to make an appointment for a gel french manicure and was asked what time I would like to come in. I requested as early as possible. I was able to get in at 3pm. I got there and was greeted and then told to sit in the chair that was closest to the door, so if you're coming into the salon, that would be the nail station to your left. I sat there and a few minutes later the nail tech came over. I had a picture of my nails that were done by my past nail tech out of state and wanted it replicated. She glanced at it and nodded her head (like it was a piece of cake). She walked away came back with the bowl to put my nails in, walked away again and then came back. She then started on the manicure. I was not happy with the cuticle removal. Why do the majority of nail technicians never remove the skin correctly? It's like, what's the point in doing this step when they just go through the motion? Trust me, sometimes I go four weeks without a manicure, so I know there's cuticle to be removed! And, being from Cali, I had an amazing nail tech that did a phenomenal job with her manicures. Another thing I was unhappy about was that she did the french manicure with a very thin nail brush...sloppy and uneven. What happened to using the big nail brush and then making the french manicure perfect and even? Then she put like heavy coats of everything...like really?? The glitter line was OK, but the glitter on the white part of the manicure, she used a very thin brush (again). She never asked anything. And, then the dealbreaker was when I walked to my car and turned my hand around and there was white nail polish on the back of my fingers...she didn't even bother to clean it off! Really?? There was a streak on my right pinky nail and the nail polish is now chipping off. I'll trust another nail salon with my real nails!! If you take pride in your business, you better make sure your nail technicians have pride in their work because it's a reflection of you! read more

If I could give a minus five stars I would. This was my 3 attempt, my first was phenomenal which prompted my second visit. The second nail tech whom I tried NOT to have on my third visit was somehow who I was scheduled with, I booked with the original tech so how did the switch happen? I like a basic manicure every week, the man who was there walked over and told me that I needed to have a Gel manicure. No, I don't. My nails are extremely strong and my previous nail tech told me that I should never have gel, dip or acrylic. I used to do nails professionally and I'm very well versed in all aspects of this industry. She proceeded to use the drill on my nails to "get the dead skin off ". She could have used a nail buffer to do this. I allowed it to see just how far they would go to get me to have Gel. They're not ethical , stay away. I never tell people that I used to work in full service salons doing nails. I will never set foot in there again. read more

Went here for the first time today, and I'm new to the area. The salon is gorgeous and most of the staff are very friendly. My nails look nice and I'm happy with them, however I wish they were a little more even. I plan to become a regular and use Tracy because she was so welcoming. My only issue was my nail tech seemed to be unhappy that I rather use acrylic on my nails and not gel. She did not see to be thrilled about doing it. I have a new favorite nail salon in South Jersey. I showed up at Brio one day with no appointment and asked if they could take me for a manicure. The receptionist spoke to a technician, I really thought they would turn me away because the place was busy & every station had a person getting their nails done. I was in luck, they would be able to fit me in and I went to select a color. A few comments about the business, first - it's new, sunny, bright, cute and very clean. There is parking in the back of the building but it's little stones rather than pavement, so exercise caution if you show up with your stilettos on. Lisa is the tech who did my nails, she was so friendly and I need to mention the files are single use for each client. Ok. I digress - Lisa did an amazing job manicuring my busted nails - they looked so good I said I wish I had called ahead, I would have loved a pedicure too. That was all she needed to hear, she moved several people around and was able to do my aforementioned pedicure as well. So accommodating & I would have come back - thank you Lisa for saving me a return trip. It has now been two weeks, my nails & toes look FLAWLESS!!!!! I don't remember the last time I had a pedicure this flawless and with all the kick boxing, yoga, barre, TRX, running, etc that I do - my nails get chipped - but not this time. They use a disposable tub liner for each pedicure, this is the first place I have visited that uses those. Now I'm spoiled and don't think I can ever go anywhere that doesn't use them. This is a terrific new addition to Main Street and it is right behind the Starbucks in the Marlton Crossing Plaza. The word is already out about this place because Saturday's are mobbed. My nail tech said Tuesday's are a ghost town - good to know if you want the place all to your self. read more

I had been here twice for a pedicure with my friend and was so impressed, I told a lot of people about it. We had a lot of fun and laughs with the women who worked there. Based on these two experiences, I would have given them 4 stars. I planned on this being my go-to pedicure place. I raved about this place to my mom and so I took her here for her birthday to get our nails done. I think the last time I had gotten my fingernails done was probably at least 7 years ago; needless to say, I am not your seasoned nail salon customer. When we arrived, the girl working the front desk was very casual and was texting on her phone while talking to us. She didn't greet us when we came in. Only spoke when I asked her "Do we just sign in?" We had an appointment. Because I've heard great things about gel polish vs. regular, I asked for a gel manicure. I picked out my color and sat down with the manicurist. She spoke very softly; I could barely hear her. When it got to the point that I needed to wash my hands, she told me to wash, and I did. As she started painting, she must have realized I used soap based on how the polish was going on and asked me if I used soap. I said yes. She then stared me down like a strict mother stares at a little child who disobeyed her, and told me I wasn't supposed to use soap and that she had told me that. Neither my mother nor I heard her say this. It's possible she did, but again she spoke so quietly. All I heard was to wash my hands. If I were a manicurist, I would treat each unknown client with respect and as if they don't often get their nails done. And I would be sure to emphasize "NO SOAP" to avoid an inconvenient situation. I had no idea that this was part of the routine and some of the people I've talked to since say that they always use soap. The rest of the manicure was awkward, and she was clearly very frustrated with me. I had been nothing but a happy and polite customer. At this point, I wanted to just get up and leave, but I didn't want to make it awkward for my mom who was getting her nails done by someone else. read more

I thought it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. I saw so many great reviews but wasn't really all that impressed. For one, when I got my pedicure, the aesthetician kept touching other things with her gloves on, such as money and a towel that had another girl's feet on it. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of gloves? The space was a bit smaller than it looks, but it worked for what it was. My manicure went well. Otherwise, I'd say this place is okay. I needed to get my nails done for a party I have coming up this weekend and found Brio on Yelp. I saw all of the positive reviews so I decided to give them a try...well I was not disappointed! I called trying to get in for yesterday but they were booked so I made an appointment for today reluctantly because of the impending snow. To my surprise the owner called me back a few hours later because they had a cancellation and fit me in! I arrived and was really impressed with how clean and nice the salon is. They had a lot of colors to choose from and they literally could not be friendlier! I had Tracy and let me tell you it was the BEST pedicure and massage that I've ever had. I got a regular pedicure but will definitely take advantage of the weekday special and get a spa pedicure next time. She also did my gel manicure and they look amazing! It was not an easy task either since my nails were short and a mess. I am so excited I found this salon and that it's so close to my work. I went there using a DealChicken voucher for a hot stone pedicure and french manicure. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about my experience there!! The guy who did my nails did a fantastic job, he was very thorough and relaxed and really took his time, despite the fact I was the last customer of the night and made them stay 15 minutes past closing. They didn't rush me or the job, or make it seem like I was inconveniencing them at all, which was nice. The pedicure was one of the best I have ever had. He gave a really great and long foot/calf massage, and was very friendly. I received the DealChicken voucher as a gift, so I'm not really even sure what it would have cost me had I paid, so I can't speak to any of the cost issues that other customers have commented on. Based on service and quality alone, I would definitely recommend and return to Brio Nails. Be sure to check out the Filtered Reviews here on Yelp for this business, because all the good reviews are there, which is skewing this business's reviews making it seem terrible. My mom (who was visiting from NC) and I had a wonderful time here today! We were impressed as we walked in to a clean and relaxing nail salon. (They also had a sunroom at the front where they can do you nails. That was pretty cool! ) After we entered, we were politely greeted at the door and serviced right away! I got a gel manicure from Long and Trang. They did a beautiful job and used sanitary tools for my manicure. They were great conversationalists and both had a warm demeanor. Not only was I impressed by their customer service but the other customers in the salon were fun to talk to as well! I live in Philadelphia but plan on coming here whenever I visit New Jersey! This is by far my favorite nail salon in the area! I would never go anywhere else. After a few visits they know me by name. Andy and Long always do a great job with my nails, and I had a newer girl today (I forget her name!) and she was great as well. They always go out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable--today the owner even plugged in my phone for me when it was losing battery. I just got back from Brio and it was seriously such an awesome experience that I couldn't wait to get home and yelp about it! First of all the place is adorable, I've never been in such as tastefully decorated nail salon that hasn't been attached to a nice hair salon. Everyone was so nice when I walked in at 3 pm on a Monday. There was only one other customer present. The receptionist promptly got my pedicure bath going and I sat there with the heavenly massage chair until I believe Tracey finished up with her other client. I received the best pedicure of my life. She spent 25 minutes softening my feet before even doing anything else. I have never felt so not rushed during a nail appointment in my life. My gel manicure looks awesome and I love that they keep all the colors on the wall instead of in a tacky key loop. The entire staff made me feel very comfortable and pampered and between a regular pedicure and gel manicure, they spent two amazing hours on me. The $58 before tip was well worth it. I am not usually good at keeping up with my nails, but I will be making a point to get here very often! read more

The only reason they get a 4 instead of a 5 is because the receptionist made three mistakes: she confirmed our appointments for the wrong date, she was speaking about coworkers who weren't present to coworkers in front of clients, and she was on a personal call when I went to pay. That doesn't negate the wonderful job that Tracy and Don did with our pedicures. They took their time and listened to our requests (I'm not too find of sugar scrubs, so Don took a gentle approach with me). If you like the massage part of a pedicure, ask for Don. If you like to be pampered, ask for Tracy. Both my mom and I would go again. read more

I was in the area for a hair appointment and I looked up nearby nail salons and found Brio. I decided to give them a try because not only do they have excellent reviews and feedback but there were also some pretty nice pictures of their work posted online. I recently bit off all of my nails and haven't had tips in years but decided to give it a go. The salon itself is pristine and the ladies were all very inviting. Not to mention the customers were all very down to earth giving warm smiles as I was obviously a new face and it was not hard to tell that they were steady clients. Needless to say, Kelly did my nails and even helped me choose a color and they came out amazing! Even for me to have such a wide nail bed and extremely short nails, she made them look so natural. I live in Texas. I'm in NJ for work and did not have time to get fills before I left town. My nails were looking bad, I don't like going to New people. I love my nail lady at home, but couldn't stand how bad they looked. I found this place on yelp so I called. The receptionist was nice and scheduled me in 30 minutes. However, when I told her I need two color, solar fills she sounded very confused, but said they could do that. When I got there lady only did one color fills. She tried to convince me I didn't need two colors. I gave in. She did an ok job, but could not buff them with buffing cream. So, I left and went to Sally's supplies and bought my own and filed them again since she left them rough and I buffed them myself. Had an acrylic refill done and after 3 days the nail polish started peeling. I called to inform them and told them I was recovering from surgery for a broken leg so I wouldn't be able to get there until Friday because I can't drive and needed my daughter to take me. I was told that they have a 5 day policy and if I couldn't get in before the 5 days I would have to pay. I again informed them that I had no way to get there due to my current situation and was told that's their policy and it's not their problem if I can't get in. Terrible way to treat a customer. I was on a time crunch (1 hr lunch break on a Saturday) and they were able to do a PERFECT eyebrow wax and BEAUTIFUL gel polish manicure within 30-40 minutes, despite the fact that they were super busy. This is the second time I've been there and each time I was perfectly happy with the eyebrow wax and gel manicures/pedicures. Everyone speaks English perfectly too. I tried this place for the first time. Inside it was nice and clean, which is why I am giving it 2 stars. I get gel manicures regularly and they usually last on average two weeks for me. Well I got one done here using OPI (always get OPI) on a Wednesday afternoon, by Friday morning one of my nails had lifted and peeled halfway off. I went back that afternoon and they fixed free of charge. But by he next morning I realized about 8 of the nails were lifting including the one she "fixed". They all peeled right of in less than a minute, didn't even damage the nail. I think the problem was the tech did a crappy job of getting the polish on my skin and cuticles so it lifted right up. That and She had me stick my hand under light after every nail. So they never had time to fully cure because she kept moving them. Worse manicure ever. read more
