Robert ruined my hair tried to pass it off as the toner was too red and forced me to leave a tip, I disputed the service after not even the district manager wouldn't call me back and it was eventually reversed by my credit card company because the Haircuttery said I never complained. I spent $80 for a trim that left me with a noticeable length difference on my left side versus my right..enough that my husband noticed right away & a "blowout" that I had to wash out as soon as I got home because the conditioner wasn't washed out of my hair all the way. Aside from the less than valuable "value package" that I got, the gross hair brush with other people's hair still in it that was used on me was enough to keep me from ever coming back. Hair Cuttery used to be a reliable & clean place to get an easy & quick trim at. Now I'm wondering if you even need a cosmotology license to work here. read more

Well, I asked for a "curtain bang" and this is what I got. Also I discovered when I got home that I was charged a "value package signature" which includes $3 off product. I bought a product and was never informed of this deal that's stated on the website. Also, I can get the same product for a cheaper price at Ulta and on Amazon. When asked why the price wasn't on the product itself, I was told that the register had trouble reading the price. I'm baffled, really. I'm getting my hair fixed by someone else. If you are looking for value, but are too cheap to go to an expensive salon like me, ask for Lindsay. She belongs at an expensive salon, and does a great job on my cut and color. I have been getting my hair done at various places in Midlothian for about 10 years. She is very thorough, and makes sure that even if you have dark hair, that your hair lifts to the right tone. My hair generally lifts redish and can be brassy. She always tones me to an ashy/neutral and gives me a conditioning treatment leaving my hair silky. Love coming here and will always come back for Lindsay. read more

Absolutely the worst haircut I have ever seen. Clippers dull, terrible bedside manner, and overall just a bad haircut. Also, apparently instruction they are not used to, because I was explicit about the front of my sons hair, and she just buzzed it all off. read more

DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR COLOR!!!! I went through two sessions for mu hair to be red my hair is BLONDE still! They wanted me to come back a third time to "fix it" this was supposed to be a 3 hour session. I was also charged for services I DID NOT receive. I called the manager who said she would give me a refund and then said she couldn't. Waited for the District manager to call me and she said she would send me my money in the form of a check and that it would take 10-14 days to get to me...It's been a month. I called customer service AGAIN and no contact from the regional manager either. I'm pissed!!!! never go here they will make you jump through hoops for your money and your hair WILL NOT be right. I want ALL of my money back because she did not deserve that $23 tip I left when she couldn't do my hair right and did not refer me to anyone to fix it. They are awful. read more

Worst experience I have ever had in my life. The prices I was given were different than the posted prices, but I did not see the posted prices until I was leaving. The woman doing my hair insisted I assist by holding the foils and handing them to her. She got annoyed with me any time I was not paying attention & she needed one. She absolutely soaked me while rinsing my hair and I could barely understand a single word she said. It was a miserable experience and I left with sopping wet hair, without finishing my service. To make things worse, when I spoke to the manager after, she promised a refund. After a month of no refund or return call, I called for nine days straight before I was able to get the manager again. After several more days, I was told I was only getting a partial refund. NEVER AGAIN, DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF. read more
