I had the worse experience ever. Oh e been cutting my hair here for the past 4-5 months. Today I went to your location on Flamingo & Pines to trim down my pixie cut. The first thing I told the stylist who is an older lady, is DO NOT cut my sideburn aka my face framing side burn. Anybody who knows about pixie cuts know that is one of the most important thing about the cut. The first thing she did was cut the hair. I was livid but I didn't want to be the typical black girl so I allowed her to finish cutting my hair. After losing my sideburn, what else could go wrong. Came in to get a partial balayage and a hair cut. After almost 3 hours and almost $200 later, this is what I got.... My stylist was super nice. Customer service was not an issue. But I am extremely disappointed in how my hair turned out. I cannot go into work the rest of the week with my hair like this. Will be calling tomorrow to get seen again and get this fixed. Even paid $25 for toner but yet my hair (or at least half of it) is very orange/yellow and has harsh lines. Not looking forward to bleaching my hair again, but both sides of my head need to match.. read more

I booked a hair cut with Arelis on November 16.She gave me a good hair cut but spoiled the entire experience by answering her personal cell phone and stayed on the call through the haircut and the checking out process.. I tried to motion to her that part of my hair needed additional attention but she was interested in her phone call.Because she was on the phone,I could not get her attention to tell her that I didn't want hair spray. ALso at my first visit she charged me $28 and I asked her what the charge would be on the next visit. She told me the price would not charge.. However thls visit it was changed to $33. She was on the phone during the entire checking out process and I could not speak to her. I dropped a five dollar tip on the desk and walked out . I am deciding whether or not to return to your salon. I liked Arelis and planned to make another appointment with her, but I don't see the point of playing second fiddle to a cell phone. read more

For new guidelines we have to make an appointment to be able to come in. It was easy to make on the website. I picked my time available and today I had the pleasure of meeting Brenda, she's been there for a while I believe so you don't get confused with another. She was just a delight and knows so much about hair. I was super pleased she was perfect in my cut styling and I was so happy to be able to run my fingers through my hair again. She took off all the dead ends and was still able to leave it looking long. My hair now is so silky smooth again and its because of brenda, she took great care of my hair and her personality is just a joy to be around. read more

I made an online reservation for my daughter and I. The price online was $29 each. When we arrived, it was very unorganized, found our reservation, but couldn't decide if the same person would attend us both, or two different people. Then, as I was sitting at the washing chair, I was told both my daughter and my service would be $55 each! The blowout was fantastic on us both, the attendants were great. However, to pay, we had to wait about 30 minutes because they could figure out how to charge us: either together or apart, then the card was taken, then they had to call a customer service line to help them void the amount, had me try to check if the payment had gone through, then to pay...what a mess. Definitely not a place to go if you are in a hurry, nor want a relaxing experience. I would have washed our own hair and dried it at home, saved $120 and 1.5 hours of our time. Terrible! read more

So for a woman who has natural hair like myself this place is decent. I went in and asked for a blow dry and flat iron and my hair came out pretty decent not to say that it's going to last longer than a week but for $60 plus a seven dollar tip it's not bad. I honestly feel like these places unfortunately don't Cater to a women with natural hair only with women with processed or straight hair. Nevertheless I walked out not disappointed, but not impressed either. I'll be honest, I'm probably gonna go have to re-straighten it just because I feel like it's not straight enough. Not sure if something has changed but today my hair stylist had to run around to find a shampoo to wash my hair. I have color and keratin and must use shampoo that is sulfate free and there was none to be found. This is the 2nd time this has happened at this salon. Took my daughter to this location yesterday, after making an appointment online for a wash and cut for $34 with Joel, after the hair cut Joel told me that the price was $45 because he had to blow dry to cut the hair. Really wished he had communicated this before cutting my daughter hair. At the end of the haircut I ended up paying $54. After washing her hair today I noticed that he basically butchered her hair. I will have to take her to another stylist to get her hair redone. I will never go back here again. read more

I had such a great experience with my stylist Ivon! She was able to squeeze me in as a walk-in and thank goodness she did because now I'm only scheduling to see her. She respectfully and actively listened to my wants and thoughts about the cut I was thinking about, which is so important! I described to her that my hair was on the thinner side and I wanted more movement and volume and once I gave her my broad guidelines, ultimately I gave her the creative reigns and said that she should do what she thinks would look best and WOW did she do an amazing job. she really out did herself and I honestly feel like this is the best my hair has ever looked. Well I had an appointment at 11:30 for keratin and was asked if I have shopping or can wait 30 minutes. I couldn't. I requested a wash and blow dry instead. (12:20 is when she completed the person she was doing ) the other girl that did my hair didn't seem to know what she was doing. Water super cold then super hot. Then blow dried and kept spraying something in my hair. My hair is naturally oily. I literally have to go home and wash my hair to remove all the extra whatever put in. I told her initially i like my hair straight. She did a blow dry with all ends facing out. I asked to fix but i touched my hair and it felt super oily, I couldn't sit anymore. I told her I want to go. There's no fixing unless they start all over. The only reason I put two stars and not one is because Sandi did my cut and blow dry a month ago and I loved it. The lady (Patricia) made me wait 45 minutes to see me (I made the appointment a week before) then I explained to her that I didn't want a cut but only a blow-dry, she told me that for the hair iron it was $15 more than what my appointment said (including the haircut that she didn't give me) and after doing A mediocre job charged me $21 more than what the quote already said (including the haircut that she didn't give me) not counting the fact that the lowest tip is 18%. Made an online appointment for my daughter at 4:30 p.m. for 6:30 p.m. got there at 6:25 pm nobody came to check me in until 6:45 after me standing at the front looking at the three ladies working. I could hear them complain that they don't know what to do if it gets busy. Once the store got busier they finally asked if I had an appointment. When someone came to check me in she couldn't find my appointment I showed her the text message and email confirmation they finally assigned my daughter a stylist and that stylist had another appointment that came after me and she sat her and told me that she will take my daughter after she did her color. My daughter finally sat at 7:15 and then I was told the online price of 25.00 was wrong and it will be 69.00 at this point I just want it done but I will NEVER go to a Hair Cuttery again horrible service, price are inaccurate and the blow dry was not what my daughter wanted Arelis the stylist did what she thought looked good and not what my daughter asked for. Oh and the price changed from 25 online, 69 before they started and 75.00 when I had to pay I asked and she said that's what the computer said. Horrible read more

I was visiting in the area, and walked in without an appointment. The staff was very friendly and immediately accommodated my companion and me. Obviously, this was the first time either of us had been to the salon, and probably would not return, as we do not live in the area. Absolutely do not recommend. Had my kids hair cut there today and the staff has ZERO personality. Also they waited until everyone was done to let us know that the credit card machine was down and you have to pay cash, would have been smart to say that before you start so you can make sure you have the cash. I usually go to the one down the street in the Westfork plaza and use Grizelda who is always friendly to anyone who walks in the door. I feel so taken advantage of. $60 for 2 kids cuts. They kept pressuring me on the upcharges. One kid had something in her hair and I told her don't mess with it just cut it..... I got charged $11 for that!! The other one was insisting that she can not cut her hair without a blow dry. That shouldn't be my problem that you don't know how to cut hair without it. So she charged me for that as well. I won't be coming back here so I hope they enjoy their up charging because they won't see us again. read more
