The color you see in my hair on top was the…read morecolor she did for me the first visit I told her I want it blonde supposedly she said she couldn't get it blonde enough so when it was time to get extensions the in the Picture it's really blonde. How is it my fault she said I insist to be blonde yes I did but the colors didn't match so I had to walk outside like that. You can see my real hair where it is and then you see the extensions so I had to spend more money to tone it, which that wasn't my problem. If I order extensions, the owner should've got the right color, but I look like an idiot walking like that with two colors. What really got me is that you can see in the hair my ponytail it looks really stupid. You can tell when my real hair is atI had to walk around like that. When I told her I wanted to put more extensions. She told me she thinks it's gonna show If she add more extensions because my hair i have thick hair and she's afraid it's going to show . So now I had to go to another hair salon spend more money$450 to fix my hair and there wasn't any issue any problems doing my hair it came out perfect . The whole point is from the beginning with my hair. She made me walk out like that. How can I walk outside like that with half of my hair short the bottom is long it was a really stupid job She knew I wasn't happy when i told her. My extensions was a lighter blonde which that's what I wanted but no, she put the color in without telling me to a dark blonde how it was gonna turn out. All she did was put 40 pieces of hair extensions in my hair, which was only the bottom that was it. Nothing on top. My hair was horrible. The first time I got it done you seen the picture. It's way too blonde in the bottom so she knew I wasn't happy so of course She had to tow it to match my hair on top. I didn't want the color from the beginning. I told her I wanted to be more blonde my whole head. Now she doesn't Want to get my refund back which I think I have a right to it! The last picture with the dark hair blonde basically that's how she made me look. That's sad.

I called ahead of time and the voice on the other end was cheerful and helpful. She was able to let me know when appointments were available and schedule both of us at the same time. I arrived almost 10 minutes late because I was coming from over an hour away. The ladies in the shop were very understanding and still had time for us. Everyone was professional and all of the ladies were styled beautifully - full makeup, nice hair-do's and dressed up. The place itself was pretty - well lit and the furniture was really nice. There were big mirrors too. I loved the fact that when they washed your hair, there was a little footrest when you tilted back. Nice touch!! All in all, we were out in about 30 minutes start to finish. We both got some nice, loose curls and they stayed throughout the evening. We felt like a million dollars when we left. All in all, a good job by professional women in a relaxing environment. There is a public parking lot directly across the street, which made it easy to get in and out.

It was my first time coming to Glambar and found it via Yelp. Luckily they were able to get me an appointment within a week of them reopening. Joelle was my stylist but all the staff here are super friendly. I had to wear a mask per CDC guidelines as did everyone else but it did not take away from the experience. She was a few minutes late into my appt, which was fine, since I wasn't in a hurry at that time. Asja is very friendly and personable. At one point before she started cutting my hair, she asked me a question and I didn't understand what she said (she speaks w/a very strong accent). She picked up a razor and asked if it was okay if she used it to cut my hair. I said sure, why not? As I was waiting to pay, I just so happened to confirmed the price of my haircut - and that's when I found out that w/her utilizing a razor, they charge an additional $10! I told the receptionist that I had no idea that it cost more! She said, "oh, well, then we'll just charge you $5." I really don't understand why they would charge more for this and can't justify the extra cost since all she did was use a different tool and honestly, it seemed much easier for her to use rather than a pair of scissors (which she did use, as well). I was completely put off by this. If you're going to offer a certain type of service but not tell the customer that's an additional fee, that's just shady. It's a shame, because while I think she did a good job cutting my hair, I don't care for people not being completely transparent with me.

Her styling is always so pretty too. The services here are a bit pricey at times, but that's my girl and I'm scared to see anyone else for my hair, especially since she's helped me for years since I first came to her with a horrible dye job. If she were to leave I don't think I'd come back to this place lol. One time a girl was washing my hair and ripped out one of my cartilage hoops with a comb... not pleasant.
