Some hairdressers may want to get you in and out of the chair as soon as possible, but he really takes the time to make sure that you get a good haircut. Several times he will look from multiple angles, press my shoulders down evenly to make sure things are symmetrical, and then make little adjustments here and there. He is also chatty if you feel like talking, and otherwise more reticent if he senses that you want to keep to yourself. I always forget to bring cash, but if you pay cash and not credit card, you get a discount!

I said yes and my hair is super healthy right now. He spent a little over 45 min cutting my hair. He blow dried my hair in between my cut to make sure he knew what my hair would look like "styled". I appreciated his detailed approach. One thing I will note is that they are very straight forward with their service. English is not their first language. I am not saying they are rude (please don't misunderstand) but they are clear and concise. Make sure you have an idea of what you want and I think you will also enjoy your experience. He really knows how to cut hair really well and gives you opinions and options. His assistant however, I don't think she knows how a balayage works. I wanted a dark red balayage ombre. I showed the assistant pictures of how I wanted the colour of my hair to be like but when it was done, my hair didn't have a gradient. Also the inside of my hair didn't have much of a transition from going black to dark red. They checked me in ; hung up my jacket even put the cap on me to start my hair . When the hairdresser; I believe her name was Olga ; came over she started questioning me . The male…read morestylist and the receptionist would be chatting nonstop about the owner (tony's) car while she fixed her hair right beside me. this just distracted the stylist and he paid no attention to detail. he could not recommend any other hairstyle other than a combover, and it became obvious he also knew nothing about asian hair. they have no pictures for examples to show you in the salon and would spin you around in every direction in the chair during the cut. he doesn't face you to the mirror until the end when it's too late. He even tries to skip the wash in a "wash, cut, style" service. The cut was really unprofessional and his tools would dig into my scalp, i later found a bit of dried blood. the wash was probably 5 minutes long. during styling, Instead of fixing the cut he just applies more and more product. When i tell him it's flat, he just says "that's how i do combovers. it won't be flat after you wash it."
