They put hot packs on your stomach and feet, applied a face mask (after the facial massage) and a lotion pack on your hands. The massage had great pressure and the staff made sure to check in with me if the pressure was good. They also included hot stones which really helped with the tension I had. However, it was a little unorganized in the beginning. I was first to arrive and I got ushered in to start my treatments without seeing my friends. I had asked if they were there, and off we went! I didn't get a good rundown on what was going on but was able to piece it together. For example, you get the drink after the services. Also, they didn't do the scalp analysis, which we saw some groups getting post services. It also sounded like some of the facials had different techniques, but I suppose that's normal given skin type. The service itself was relaxing. The surprise was when they started massaging my feet and legs! My scalp felt cleansed after. The salon where they dry your hair is nicely set up. All in all, there were many pluses! Had such a lovely experience at Elevation Spa! I got the Anniversary Package for a really good price, and the whole experience felt luxurious and definitely more elevated than other head spas I've tried. I loved that they offered food and drinks, and their birthday experience is such a cute touch--they give you a tiara and sash and take photos! A couple things could be improved: the "microdermabrasion" felt more like a regular exfoliation with a cleansing brush, and I wish my blowout was a little better. My sister-in-law definitely got the better one . Kimmie was wonderful though! She even offered to take photos and videos during the experience, which was such a thoughtful extra touch. I was able to get a same day appointment. I called in the morning and spoke to Terry. She for me in at 1:15. I got there a bit early. The receptionist asked if I wanted to use the restroom first. I did. It was clean and looked newly renovated. The manicure/predicate area was HUGE. Never seen anything like that. After I used the rest room, they walked me to the head spa lounge and treatment area. I confirmed which service I wanted (75 min) and added a 35 min foot massage. They walked me through glass doors where I was transformed into a more relaxing space. I was provided with a satin tube dress and a changing room. After changing, I picked a locker to put my stuff in. Then they walked me to a very quiet and dim area where my treatment would take place. It was so great. I wasn't sure what to expect but I basically got a foot massage, a facial, scalp, face, and shoulder massage, hot stone massage, double shampoo, double conditioner, got snacks, warm tea, and other shoulder massage while sitting in a hair stylist chair where she worked out knots on my right shoulder, hair dried with serum, and iced Vietnamese coffee to finish. They did everything right here. Washed my hair extremely well the water felt warm, the massage had the perfect pressure, and they also blow dry and styled the hair for me. Shoulder and neck massage: 10/10 I appreciated them asking to check on the pressure, and I appreciate it every step from the warm towel, the hot stones, and the massaging in specific pressure points. Facial: 8.5/10 The mini Facial did left my face feeling extremely soft. There is no extra extractions or anything that was painful during the Facial. During the microderm, I wish my face was a little bit more moisturized as the device felt slightly dry pressing against my face. I do also wish that they kept the face mask serum on my face. I decided to try this place because it's close to my work and never again. The first red flag was when I specifically asked for **Gel-X in a small length**, and the nail tech told me she couldn't do small and suggested doing medium and cutting them down instead. During the application, she had to remove and reapply the Gel-X tips several times because they weren't fitting properly. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave. She even asked if it was my first time getting Gel-X, which surprised me because I get my nails done every three weeks. What really bothered me was how aggressively my natural nails were filed. I booked an appointment for my mom and I for my moms birthday. Hana and Yen were patiently waiting for us at the front door as my mom is elderly and uses a walker. The amount of patience these ladies had with my mom was amazing! My mom was hesitant to do this and said nothing would make her relax.. half an hour in I could hear my mom snoring! Hanah whispered to me that my shoulders were very tense (which they were as I am under a lot of stress as I work 10 hrs a day and then im a caregiver for both my parents in the evening) but Hanah somehow worked all the stress out of my neck and shoulders...at one point I had tears from being g able to feel the stress leave my body! I treated myself and my mom to the head spa. I've heard about them all through Instagram and finally made an appointment. All the staff was super nice and friendly. We got there and checked in. Immediately asked if we wanted a complimentary drink, which was great. We walked in and they gave us a locker and a place to change into some dress robe things. We then went into a salon style room where they massaged our necks and shoulders. This part was torture for me. The massage was much too deep and intense for me. The pressure felt excessive, and instead of feeling relaxed afterward, I was quite sore. I would have preferred lighter, more relaxing pressure. I wish they would ask your preference before it started on when you book the appointment. We then went into the room and laid down but the whole process felt rushed. The movements and techniques were more aggressive than I expected, and there seemed to be very little time to pause and actually relax between each part of the treatment. I know we only had 90 mins but a gentler touch would have made it feel so much better. My lady did offer to take a video and I thought that was great. Additionally, I had the hot stones and that was amazing! At the end, they took us back to the salon and blow dried our hair. The end was using the side of their hands to tap on my back but it honestly felt like assault. Lol. Overall, the experience is great if they can fix the rushing and pressure issue. I purchased the Elevation Ultimate 90-minute package, which included the Elevation Deluxe, and unfortunately, the services provided did not match what was advertised. I specifically chose the detox facial, but what I received was a very basic facial consisting of cleansing, exfoliation, steam, massage, and a sheet mask. As an esthetician, I can tell the difference right away, and this did not feel like a detox facial. The hair portion was also disappointing. It seemed to be just a shampoo done twice, and I wasn't informed or aware of any mask being applied. I found this spa through Instagram, and while the services look very appealing on social media, the actual experience did not match what was promoted in the package. Although this spa offers a wide range of services such as nails, massages, and facials, I personally would not trust their package deals. We were escorted to a back private room entrance into a spa area. When we arrived we were promptly asked to change our top into a smock like top. Hannah was my masseuse. We chose the elevation deluxe package which was discounted to $92. Since they had specials, it's even cheaper on a weekday. Hannah started massaging my head and the pressure was too strong. I kindly asked her to lessen the pressure and she did. While she was doing my mini facial and massaging my face, she turned on a hot steam machine which blew on my face. Then she massaged my shoulders and finally turned on the water spraying machine and started massaging my hair and washed it. Overall, I thought Hannah did a good job following the steps of the elevation deluxe package. I had already been to other head-spas so I knew what to expect. It was my friend's first time and she loved it. What I liked was the service here. You enter a separate room to blow dry your hair and a special treat a mandarin, herbal tea, a cookie, and a choice of an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink. I got the guava heat and it was refreshing. There seemed to be a disconnect with what we told the front desk lady and what the nail techs understood. Maybe a system of writing things out would be good. I understand charging more for extras like a French but I think you should not quote prices $5 more than what is listed. I think the ladies that did my feet and hands did a great job so no complaints there. This place charges more than a basic nail place so the ambiance and customer service should be extra. First I'd like to say I've been a returning customer to elevation for close to 8 months. Last Friday I booked an appointment and was so excited to go in and get my cat eye with this new flower magnet design just to be told by my tech that they can't do it. Is there anyone at the salon able to do it ? She said no. Later over the long weekend I find out one of my friends who frequents elevation also , got the design I wanted with the cat eye and flower magnet design. I decide that I would go back that same day (yesterday Tuesday September 8th) to get the design on my nails. I walk in and explain to the receptionist & she quickly sits me down and asks me if I want a whole new set, I tell her no. I just want the 2 fingers on each hand to be done (notice how they aren't) The tech who comes and tries to do the design tried once .. then twice.. then one more time before giving me a half effort design. She does it quickly and then I walk back up to the reception just for them to still charge me for THIS! you cannot see the design and I was not satisfied at all. Which makes me soooo sad because I loved elevation & being a returning customer but it's becoming less likely for me to return after this whole encounter. I hope elevation can continue to thrive and hopefully train more of their techs & staff on how to do things properly in the future. read more

I come here because the quality of Cerritos Nails was top tier and the boss had her girls doing things right. But I went to get the elevation deep tissue package that is $159 and not only did I not receive half of the services advertised but the tech had me in a spare room with no supplies and kept opening and closing the door and then leaving the door open so anyone could walk by and I could hear all the noise from the salon. Super disappointed in this service. I think Terry is a great business woman but I think there's a lot going on in this salon and whoever the other boss is needs to get a better grip. read more

I arrived to my appointment about 10 minutes early and I was taken into the facial area rather quickly. I did get the 90 minute facial, which was a bit too long for me laying on your back with a bad back. It's never a good thing, but the technician I'd let her know that my back was hurting and she did everything in her power to make me feel comfortable, but we had to end it about 15 minutes early. I then went in for my pedicure, and my technician was Anna, who was very polite. Did a great job I'll be back and I'll be requesting her for my next one also. The facility is absolutely beautiful. It's clean. The areas are separated between manicures pedicures. I was watching people get their hair blown out, I'm not sure if it's salon, but it was absolutely beautiful inside with a really good atmosphere. read more
