Decided to make the decision to cut my long hair and I was super nervous. Last time I cut my hair shortish I hated it and it felt like it took forever to grow out. So I went to Yelp to find a place. This place didn't have many reviews but the ones they have are great so I decided to give it a shot. I called on a Saturday to ask to set up a consultation. The girl on the phone said she could fit me in the next day for a consultation and hair cut. I was really excited to get an appointment so quick. So I drove over the next day and was greeted by a friendly girl, Raquel, who ended up being my stylist for the appointment. Raquel was really great at listening to what I wanted and offering her own stylist opinion. I went with what she suggested and couldn't be happier. The shampoo was super luxurious and relaxing. Getting a mini head massage is always a nice feeling. The cut was really quick and efficient! Raquel is a pro and did meticulous work that was also quick. I also like how my whole experience was relaxing. I've had stylists who chat my ear off and probably take way longer than needed because they talk so much. Obviously I don't mind some chat with a stylist, its nice to get to know them, but in my opinion a haircut should be relaxing and when the stylist is lound and gossipy I just feel like I'm intruding on their personal conversations. So I really liked the vibe of this salon and how chill and professional if was. I will be coming back! read more

I am giving this place 2 reviews because my stylist Ash was so very nice. I am not angry about my hair because I know the place was closing and ash stayed to finish my hair but I'm just disappointed in the results after reading great reviews. The color is darker than I asked for which is fine but the color is not even, it looks a little like a skunk under the top layer. The cut was done very quickly and not really how I wanted it. I noticed after I left all around my hair line there is left over hair dye that I will have to try and scrub out. I have a rehearsal dinner to go to tonight with little time and now have to worry about this. I paid $125 just to have to go somewhere else to have my hair fixed and hair recut. I understand I was there at the end of the day, but still just kinda sad. I wish I would have been turned away instead. read more

Solid. Was not into going to a 'salon' at all, but the whole thing was pretty amazing. Nice head massage, clean place, and great cut. There was another guy in there which was nice, but overall the place seems to be geared towards women (it is a salon afterall), but seems to be great for men looking for a cut above fantastic sams. I just moved out of Parker and needed to find a new hair stylist. I'm extremely picky since having red hair is tough to maintain and growing out my hair would take someone who could understand my type of hair and color. After doing a lot of searching on Yelp, I called and got an appointment the same day with Angie. All I can say is that she rocks! She asked me tons of questions, making me feel like she really cared and understood my concerns. She took it upon herself to give me a special moisturizing treatment, and coached me on proper products. My hair has never felt this good! I have found my new home! Angie is the very best! This place definitely deserves 0 stars. It was by FAR the worst experience I've ever had at a hair salon and I recieced NO service. I had an appointment with Brittany. She sat me in the chair, played with my hair and laughed and mocked it. She continuously made faces and giggled while playing with my hair and then proceeded to call my hair "bizarre". She said my hair was "too damaged" to touch and she refused to dye my hair or do anything to it. She even rolled her eyes while laughing at my hair. I left without receiving anything but mocking. I immediately made an appointment at another salon and now my hair looks fabulous. The stylist at the other salon even comment that my hair was very strong. My color turned out amazing and I'm sure the stylist at the other place enjoyed her $100 tip. Brittney also said my hair would take too much time. I was in and out of the salon at the other place in about 90 min. That was with a cut, color, lowlights, and conditioning treatment. read more

I had the best experience having my hair done here than I've had almost any other time in my life. I moved to CO about 6 months ago from a highly humid climate and the super dryness here has caused my hair and scalp to go into super oil overproduction. On top of that, I had a bad dye job early last year that I've been trying to grow out. Brittney at Hair Rx is helping me with all of it. The most notable thing is she listened to me... I have very long, very straight, very thick hair and most people have just chopped it all off and gone way too short... she didn't! She did exactly what I asked while educating me on how to manage growing out my old color and taking care of my hair in this different environment. She was very knowledgeable and was able to make great suggestions for what I needed to do to get my hair looking good again! I love Hair Rx! I followed Yadi here and love it! The salon is modern and cozy and the staff is very friendly! I love all of their products and the fact that the staff takes the time to explain the use of them and even offer styling tips. Yadi is AMAZING with color, cuts my hair perfectly every time and styles it so well! She really listens to what I want and gets it exactly as I showed or described it to her. I LOVE Hair Rx!! I booked an appointment here with Roxi over a year ago because I had a groupon, but I have continued to go because of the great service that I receive time after time. Roxi only works a few days every week, and I'm a teacher so my times to book are limited and usually last minute. But Roxi always finds a spot for me. I also have fine hair, but a lot of it, and it shows every cut you make in it. I went here yesterday for the first time ever and absolutely hands down have to say, this is the best hair salon ever! The lady I spoke with on the phone was sweet and I had told her that I had a bad ombre color job 2 months ago from another place that I went to and the back of my hair was spotty and blotchy looking. She told me to come in that same day (thank goodness since I have the bad habit of doing things last minute), and I saw Roxie, who came in on her day off, and offered to stay and fix my hair. She was so helpful and super sweet and patient with me, since I am obviously not a hair expert :) She even glossed and treated my hair and blow dried and curled my hair! And at the end of it all, was VERY reasonably priced! I was so excited that she fixed my hair and added so much volume to it! Thank you Roxie! I went into Hair Rx after having a horrible cut that left my hair looking like a 2-year-old with scissors got a hold of it. I also had been dying it red for about a year and now wanted to go back to having blonde highlights with brown lowlights. Add on to all of that the fact that I have naturally curly hair. Needless to say, I was going to be a challenge. Ash was up to that challenge, though, and did an absolutely brilliant job. My hair looks so much better than I expected, and I'm finally on the road to hair recovery thanks to her. To say I was impressed by this salon is a huge understatement. I randomly called one day after months of not having anything done to my hair and got an appointment with Lisa. Before she got busy cutting the inches off, she offered me a wax hand treatment, and what girl doesn't love that? She also noticed from my hair alone that I had been stressed and I told her it was due to a previous surgery, and she explained what the stress and anesthesia had done to my hair. This was my first, and last visit to this salon. I wanted a significant hair cut but the stylist said I would be unhappy if she cut that much off, how does she know what would/wouldn't make me happy? So, she cut a relative short amount off and suggested I come back in 4-6 weeks to get more cut off, at another $50 for a hair cut. Perhaps I should have been more insistant...The color was nice, but has faded as fast as grocery store box dye. There aren't enough positive adjectives that can describe this salon. I have almost never had a good experience getting my hair done because of an embarrassing condition I have called trichotillomania, which leaves the top of my head balding to almost nothing. Being a 28 year old girl, it's definitely not something I'm comfortable with. I found Hair Rx from yelp, and all the great reviews made me decide to go there. I scheduled a color consultation because the color that I wanted was not a natural color, but more of a faded pink/rose gold color. During the consultation, a few things got lost in translation and two days later at my hair appointment, the color did not turn out like we had planned. I was so upset, and instantly emailed the owner, Tammy. She promptly responded to my email and we talked through this color that I definitely didn't like. She was very understanding and fair with what her next step would be, which was to have me come back in after a few days and have it fixed, free of charge, with a different stylist. The new stylist, Chris, sat me down and heard my very long story of how my hair didn't turn out right, actually listened and didn't try to shift the blame, and spent hours working with me to create the correct color. She spent 4.5 hours to correct the color and the end result is literally what dreams are made of. The color I ended with was amazing, and it could not have been more perfect. The amount of time and effort that was put into my hair was greatly appreciated, and I cannot think them enough for their dedication to this industry.
