Writing another review. I wrote the original one over six years ago. Grace has been amazing, she's courteous, friendly and fast. Typical men's haircut takes about 10 mins. She will wash your hair after the haircut. As expected, the price did increase from $10 to $12 but with everything else so expensive these days, it's still an excellent deal. On Saturdays, she does get very busy with up to 1.5 hours of wait so for that reason, going on weekdays is best. Decided to try this place out since my original hairdresser wasn't available today. My hairstyle is more of a long comb over to the back and fades on the side. Unfortunately, Grace doesn't specialize in more stylish hair. My original hairdresser would separate the top with hair clips and start chipping different areas with a regular scissor and layering scissor. Grace only used the clipper and regular scissor for the top. Overall, I admit she is good with the fades and most likely specializes in short hairs. It took about 10 minute including a quick wash and dry. I personally prefer the 25-30 minute haircuts. There were a lot of men with short hair styles waiting in line so you know she is very good and quick with short hairstyles. read more

Found this place on yelp and finally convinced my husband to give it a try. For $9.95 you get a cut, wash and dry. The whole process probably takes about 10 mins and you're out the door. My husband is pretty happy about his hair cut so that's all that matters. To be honest for the price, it is a bargain. Of course it's nothing compared to a fancy place but you get the basic treatment at a reasonable price. I think Grace is the only one that does men haircuts. There are two other older Asian ladies does women haircuts for $25 short hair and $30 long hair. They also have a nail tech inside the salon too. But not sure how much she charges. The store is run by a Korean woman and at first she was nice and spends maybe 15+ minutes on your hair and asks if you have any other request. But as time goes on, she became more and more reckless by being hasty and half-assedly on each service. And if I ask for a quick fix for something that was missed, which she tends to do quite often, she gives out an annoyed sigh. My daughter has a short tomboyish hairstyle. The salon was crowded with men. Grace informed my daughter that she needed to make an appointment because she is a female before she got her hair cut. Grace also told her that she cannot get a male cut because she is female. My daughter explained that her hair was shorter than the male customers' and that all she needed was a trim. Grace became upset and refused to serve her. Even though is only a trim, she insisted on an appointment because she is a female. Grace made an exception to cut my daughter's hair, but she made quite a scene in front of other customers. My daughter was humiliated to the point of tears. She botched up my daughter's haircut. Grace charged her $10.00 for the haircut, but my daughter explained that she is willing to pay the female haircut rate. Grace responded that because it is a male haircut, it is only $10.00, so my daughter left her a $5.00 tip to show that it is not about money. However, to prove to her that she should not discriminate against people based on their gender.
