I knew that wax might cause a slight burn to the skin (wax was hotter than normal) and would last up to 48 hours (way past that now). Since Ashley did not speak with me about what she was doing with my eyebrow color, I asked about what she was doing and told her what I wanted her to do. She told me that this was what she did and would not be doing what I wanted. When she let me look at the mirror when she finished, I once again told her what I wanted done. Now, three days later with lids still burned and brows now already faded. I walked in at 2 p.m. and left at 2:18. Not the best way to treat your new client.

I am in the process of moving, so decided to check out Salon 16 because I was in desperate need of a highlight and hair cut. I was very skeptical and apprehensive in having someone else do my hair, as mentioned I've been seeing the same woman for years. I am also very particular about my blonde hair, the toning/conditioning treatment, and all the fine toothing things that comes with bright blonde hair. I read amazing reviews about Salon 16 online and they were spot on. First off-Stephanie is amazing. Not just an amazing hair stylist, but incredibly friendly and personable; I really enjoyed talking with her for a couple of hours. I told her exactly what I wanted and she delivered! I had just about a full highlight, rounded long layer cut, toner, and a conditioning treatment. My hair came out absolutely beautiful and healthy. No brass, no yellow, no damage, and no over processing. It's really just perfect. Again, this was the first person to touch my hair aside from my normal hair dresser and I was blown away. The best part? It was leas than half of what I paid in Richmond. Normally I get the same services for a little over $400 with tip. $190 at Salon 16 and just a fantastic of a job. I highly recommended this salon and Stephanie if you are particular, have blonde hair, or on the fence about visiting...just go! 10/10

I had been going to this salon Selbyville location because it was close to my house, but unfortunately, my experiences with nail tech Anara were constantly disappointing. My gel nails were often uneven, bumpy and wavy. I gave polite feedback so she could fix them next time, but the quality didn't improve much. After only 3 visits, I booked another appointment with a different nail tech and next day it got cancelled and the salon blocked me from booking and left a voicemail saying I was "not a match" for them. Shockingly Anara also texted me stating that the "quality here is low and they can't meet my expectations". Additionally I just found out that a friand of mine had her nails done by Anara 4 months ago and developed an infection after her cuticles were cut improperly. And now my sister who also went here, has decided to stop. If you care about quality work, safety and respectful service, look elsewhere.

My daughter was to get long layers and they gave her a lob. The front was longer than the back with no layers on back. Had to go elsewhere to fix it. My autistic daughter is so upset. Also, they did a horrible job with her brows. Brows are round, thin, with no arch and uneven. Definitely not a professional business.
