This is top tier service and expertise! From the beginning working with Andrea to coordinate my consultation, surgery, pre and post op appointments the communication was clear and open. They were super accommodating and made time to still see me even though my schedule was tight. When I met with Dr. Abrams he was completely present, calm, reassuring, and patient as he answered any and all questions I had. I felt like he was fully invested in my case. I've never worked with a doctor so present and kind - there was no sense of rush or that I was just a number like is common to feel in doctor's offices these days. When it came to the procedure Stefanie and Maria assisted Dr. Abrams and they also were above and beyond incredible. Over 40 years of experience between the two of them and amazing care and communication. Before Dr or the ladies would do anything they would take the time to explain what was coming next and I felt totally safe and in good hands. That level of communication is also so rare to find with doctors and staff these days. Super impressed. As far as the procedure technical details, I did 2500 grafts, the experience was incredibly smooth. The only real pain was initial numbing shots at the donor and recipient sites but honestly it's only for a couple minutes and wasn't that big of deal in the grand scheme of the procedure. After numbing I fell asleep for a couple hours while they harvested donors. Then had a great lunch was feeling good and then did the second portion of implanting. Again numbing shots the worst part but overall bearable and only a couple minutes. Implanting was also smooth process with Stefanie and Maria both working on each side, made the process go quickly. I also was half asleep during this as well. It was the best experience ever had with a doctor and their staff. Highest recommendation! The office was also extremely nice, open, and high quality adding to the comfort and top tier experience. Super excited for the results! I'll have to come back and update my final pictures once it grows in. This picture is day 2 after the implants have already begun to scab and heal.

More so, because I was pretty comfortable with having a shaved head since I've been BIC'ing my head since the age of 25. Tommy showed me some before-and-after pics, and I was fairly impressed on how natural it looked. The after results looked clean and it just looks like a shaved head, but instead of this gap of baldness - - patients looked like they had a nice hairline. Although I thought it was cool to see those results, I didn't get an urge to book my appointment and go through with it. Months later, I found myself starting to pay closer attention to my bald head in photos. I have a decently shaped head and the bald-look fits me, but I just started noticing how, even with a freshly shaved head, you can tell my hairline was all the way back to the middle of my head. To me, it made me look a lot older (33M), and not in the best of way. I finally booked my appointment for my first session. I read through the reading material with the pre- and post-care procedures and signed the waivers and got the process started. My Experience: First and foremost, Joe and Tommy are really detailed-oriented and particular, which are perfect traits to have for this type of trade/business. Think about it, the goal of this procedure is to imitate natural hair follicles. It's random placement of dots on your head, but not random-random, but random with a purpose.. if that makes any sense. Not only does the ink color have to be similar to your existing hair, but hair strands come in different sizes and the results will need to show that. This means not ever dot should be identical in size. I did a total of three session. The first session, they focus on my initial hairline placement and inked in a light first layer of pigmentation. From what was explained to me, they wanted to see how well my head would react to the ink. Would the ink stay? Is there discoloration of the ink over time? Was the hairline brought down enough? etc. These are the questions the 1st session would answer. The first session took about 4-hours. The second session was about 3-4 weeks later, they brought down my hairline a bit more and made it look more of a natural look, rather than a hardline (like after you get a line-up when getting a fade). After the second session, I thought it looked great. I didn't think I needed a third session, but they advised me to just come in just in case I needed more of a fill-in. The second session took about 4-hours. For the 3rd session, which was 2 months after my 2nd session, everything did look good, but you could tell there were some areas of my head that could use some fill-in. The third session took about 5-hours. Now that it is all said and done, I can't tell you how glad I am that I decided to go through this process. Before, the thought of having my normal hairline really didn't matter to me. But now, being so impressed with their work, I can't stop trying to recommend all my bald friends to entertain getting it done. It's been so long since I've seen my hairline, I forgot what I looked like having one. Thanks Joe and Tommy. I appreciate the great work you did! I'd definitely check them out, if you are entertaining the idea of having this procedure done. Not all SMP is created equal, so do your research. But from my experience, and how I am as a person, I really do appreciate their attention to detail. ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS! Tips: - Read the material and follow the pre- and post-care. It's there for a reason. - If you have any urge/inclination of getting it done, make sure to up your hydration and start moisturizing your head daily. This plays a huge role on the retention of pigmentation color! - Be prepared for a 4-5 hour session. For me, 4-hours was bearable. When I hit the start of the 5th hour on my third session, I started getting extremely antsy. - Your head is filled with a lot of nerve endings, so be prepared to feel a bit funny through out your body (depending on which part of the head is being touched). I got teary eyed, urges to sneeze, and feeling nerve sensations down through my legs at times -- it's normal. - The sensation is not really painful, it's more annoying. If you have had tattoo work done, its similar to that. Tattoo work usually gets done in section and phases. After a section of the tattoo is done, the artist moves to another area. For SMP, some spots get touched over and over -- which is the annoying part. - I found that listening to Classical music during the sessions relieved a lot of my anxiety. - What also helped me was engaging in conversation to help keep your mind off the poking.

I have mixed feelings and some disappointments from this experience especially two people…read morerecommended this place for me which made me have very high expectations. 1. Consultation process: I was very nervous since I am Asian and my eyes have folds which make the shape of liner extremely critical, if too long, my eyes would look droopy, if not thick enough, no one can tell I have eye liners on. One time I walked in and asked about consultation, see if they can draw the liners during consultation to make sure we are on the same page and to ease my nervousness since this is a permanent thing! But it was denied. Then I called to schedule a consultation, and when I showed up on the day of consultation, I was told my appointment was not on the system. WHAT?!?!? But I was quickly greeted and was told that my concerns are heard and understood. So I thought it should be good even though I can't see the liners drawn before they get tattooed..... 2. First session: I choose some photos from MM Brows' site as reference and explained the thickness of the liner that I need. And the adjustments I need. From the communication, it seemed that my requests are understood. During the process, very little numbing solution was applied, I had to bite my tongue and resist the pain a lot. At the end my eyes were swollen which are to be expected. When the session is done, I was offered to use the makeup closeup mirror to check the results, they appeared ok except days later after the swelling is gone, the lines can barely be seen. NO ONE KNEW that I had liners tattooed. I guess the swelling and the blowup mirror created the false impression that the artist gave me the liner thickness I asked for. 3. Follow up session: I again made the emphasis about the shape and liner thickness I requested due to the shape of my eyelids. I told her that since I have to go through this pain to get tattooed and naturally I want the results that meet my original requests. During the process, again, very little numbing solution was applied and my eyes were in severe pain. I had to request additional numbing cream in order to continue the process. I also drew the shape and thickness of the liners I want using phone app to demonstrated what I expect to receive. Unfortunately, the end results are not what I requested. 4. Positive notes: The work is very detailed despite the fact that it's not the shape or thickness I requested ... and the lady has good sense of humor
