I had free time back in June 2021 and decided I wanted to do Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) as a side hustle aside from being a nurse. Since my sister is a permanent makeup artist and has her own business doing Microblading, Microshading, Lip Blushing and some other things I thought I should also do something similar and get my foot in the door of the beauty industry. I found out about SMP and researched where to learn it best. I then found Joe Barghi's website online. How? Simple, I just Googled SMP classes in Las Vegas, compared the different websites, their reviews, their works on their IGs or other socmed, and boom, I found Joe's work the best and most aesthetically pleasing hands down. Working with Joe was an amazing experience. He is a master in this field, very meticulous, in fact, somewhat OCD when it comes to doing his work. He was very accommodating and answered our questions in an honest, no bullsh*t way. What I also really liked about him is that he did share his secrets to us, his students, including where to get supplies, how to do certain things, and advices that we, as newbies entering the SMP field, would find helpful as we embark on this new journey, how to start our own business and how to approach/deal with clients. I also like how Joe is very approachable and helpful. Imagine paying to take a class thousands of dollars and after the class is done, you can no longer get ahold of the person you signed up with. That's not Joe! Lol! You thought! Anyway, whenever I text or call Joe inquiring about things, needing advice or any help about SMP, he's there to listen to my needs, answer my questions and give me professional advice. I appreciate that about him! Also, the fact that he is a family man and very humble!!! You won't even know that he's very good at SMP when you talk to him. Yeah, he's that humble and easy to talk to. He's very friendly but also strict, straightforward and will put you to your place . He doesn't play when it comes to SMP; he does it and he teaches it with passion, respect to the art and knowledge about the science behind it. If you are looking to get your SMP done, you better have Joe do it. You pay for quality when you sign up with him! It's a lifetime sacrifice and commitment so choose the best! The same goes with the training--if you are looking for an SMP training to take, sign up with my guy, Joe. You will never regret it and you will be very grateful you took it with him! When I started balding, I was drawn to a surgical solution that promised a full head of healthy hair while only leaving a minor scar on the back of my head that would remain hidden. After this expensive procedure, it turned out to be false promise. My scalp was still visible on the top and now included a nasty looking scar above the back of my neck. I was then promised a "second round" would resolve the issue. In my desperate attempt for a solution I was convinced to try again. The scar got bigger, and the top of my head in contrast to the sides still looked uneven and weak (see pics). Both procedures added up to around $14K if I remember correctly, and all I got in return was a bigger LIFELONG problem on the back of my head that when revealed caught everyone's attention. This was nearly 10 years ago and I had given up hope since then, until recently discovering FULL MICROPIGMENTATION and meeting Joe the owner. I came in to see if I could better conceal my scar, and after my first relatively painless session I could see a drastic improvement. This convinced me to do my full scalp on the following sessions and I couldn't be more pleased with the results (let the pics speak for themselves). The procedures were not nearly as costly as the MHR (Medical Hair Restoration) surgeries, no scalpels, no added scars, no downside whatsoever. If this was around back before, I would have never done the stupid surgeries. Each session with Joe for me was about 6 hours. And I had 3 sessions (in addition to my first session which was just for the scar). I didn't find it painful at all, and Joe turned out to be a very friendly and enjoyable conversationalist while being meticulous in his craft. In fact, I enjoyed my time with Joe so much that I look forward to future touch-up sessions (every 3-5 years). I'm not one to leave reviews often. Like maybe one every few years at best. And this review isn't being incentivized in any way. The effort I'm taking to write this is only fueled by the excellent experience and product I walked away with. If anyone can relate to my experience, and are considering this as an alternative, I truly believe you owe yourself to at least a consultation. And if anyone else out there is considering the surgery route, please think carefully and consider my story and look what I was left with (see photos). Awesome experience... I actually looked into SMP a few months prior to learning about Full SMP" in Las Vegas. I live in Tennessee and the closest places I found to do SMP were in Nashville and Florida, however I was not impressed with either the sales pitches or quality of work. So I gave up looking. While on a family vacation in Vegas I just decided to google SMP in Vegas and that's when I discovered "Full Micropigmentation". I called them up and set up a consult the day before we were leaving to go back to Tennessee. Not knowing what to expect, I met with Joe. There were no sales pitches or lines, he was honest and sincere, he even took me to meet the tech, Marvin while he was working on one of their clients. As soon as I saw the client and Marvin's work I was just about sold. They knew I had a flight back home the next day and offered to come in early if I was interested. I went back to the hotel spoke to my wife who told me to go for it. Being nervous and unsure Marvin assured me he's one of the best technicians in the business, and to trust him. As soon as I got up from the chair I was amazed. From the hairline he created to the overall finish it was awesome and this was just the first of three sessions. Each session was more amazing then the first. I flew back to Vegas two more times to complete the others sessions and all I can say is that it has been an amazing experience with no regrets. Two things I learned from working with "Full Micropigmentation" is first how important the experience of the technician is. There is no room for error and Marvin is more than just an SMP technician, he is as much an artist who pays close attention to the smallest details of his work and won't stop until he is completely satisfied. Full Micropigmentation changed my life. I recently got my full 3 sessions completed and couldn't be happier. I went in Jan 1st for my New Years Resolution to commit to making a change to my life, one that meant doing something about my hair loss. I had a consultation scheduled and met with Joe, who was with me throughout my entire journey to restoring my hairline and as a bonus my confidence and self-esteem. He is nice, down to earth and easy to talk to which makes a difference when you are there 6 to 8 hours per session. He is the BEST in Las Vegas at what he does honestly he could be the best ever. I went in to have a hair transplant scar camouflaged but decided to have my whole head done after Joe explained that he could do my full head in three sessions, my scar would also take three sessions so I decided to go ahead and do my whole head. I have always hated my scar and was the only reason I would not shave my head. I saw a drastic change after the first session, after the second session it was better than I expected, by the third session it was perfect. Joe and Marvin are the bomb digity and the best in Vegas. And not just for their FULL MIcropigmentation company .... They are the nicest guys ever. I have a thin frontal hearline and an alopecia scar from a product I used to thicken my hair which caused a trauma induced scalp burn, essentially. I have been so self conscious of my hairline. Toppik and spray on messy hair fillers is not for me as it leaves your fingers black each time you touch your hair. I have very long hair. These products are better suited for short hair. I highly recommend Joe and Full Micro for micro-pigmentation. I met Joe at the gym. After a few conversations, Joe shared the details surrounding his business. I was pretty much nervous coming into my first session as I'm sure any other client would be when getting SMP. But trust me, there isn't anything to worry or be nervous about when you have Joe as your SMP artist. Very cool down to earth guy and listens tentatively to your needs regarding everything about your scalp, crown, hairline, etc and he will make adjustments accordingly if you so wish.
