I did, however, have another stylist do my 10-year-old daughter's hair and I thought it was a $50 cut wash and blow dry but was charged an extra $25 for 15 minutes over the hour mark "because her thick hair". My problem is that she did not even start my daughter's hair at our appointment time. So those extra 15 minutes shouldn't have been charged to me. It would've been nice if she mentioned the extra charge as well instead of just smiling and saying her hair is so thick as she continued to thin it. She did a great job on my daughter's hair but shouldn't start late to do someone's hair and then charge them extra time for going over the hour without asking if I want you to take the "extra time". It was just a bit frustrating.

I asked for tape in extensions with ombre. I had discussed pictures and gave ideas/instructions on what i wanted. I gave the extensions to the hairdresser to highlight prior to my appointment. However when i saw the extensions I was hesitant and nervous because it was not what we had discussed. When i tried to voice my concerns to the stylist she became defensive and upset. She stated she would charge me because I changed my mind when i did not change anything i just wanted what i had actually asked for. She continued to tell me it would look good after it was done and curled. I was visibly upset and she asked me how me crying makes her feel. I continued to press on and try not to upset her more. In the other room I could hear her talking about me to the another stylist and so i tried to cheer up to keep the peace. She added the tape ins only to the side of my head and none in the back because she said that we didn't have enough although she didnt plan out where she was gonna place them place them prior to tapping them in. . She stated it looked fine in the back and i didnt need then in be back. Then she gave me a lob because that was the only way it did not look as awkward. Which i never said i wanted. I left still feeling uneasy after she finished but i did thank and pay her with a tip. But inside i was not extremely impressed. When i expressed concerns the next day she said that this is not on her and she would move my extensions for $150 and give me $50 off because i was tight in money (which I never stated i was). She then refused to fix anything and told me to find a new stylist. I then got ahold of the owner who listened but basically told me i changed my mind and she was told me to find a new salon and she is not there is no manger at the salon so there is nothing she could do. Basically i spent over $500 not including tip or the cost of the extensions and i am left with more work of taking my extensions out myself and redoing them and my hair and needing to consult another stylist. i feel like from this i just got added more work and more money for basically nothing. I received no refund or apology from the hairdresser or own even though i took some responsibility and accountability and i apologized that maybe i was unclear what i wanted. The hairdresser got a nice chuck of money and almost damaged my hair with the placement. I would not recommend this salon or stylist based on customer service and professionalism.
