I didn't realize it would be in the basement of what looked like a rundown house. I go downstairs and there was a long hallway with pipes visible in the ceiling. No receptionists and it had the air of an unkempt house rather than a hair removal facility. Her room was at the end of this hallway and it was tiny. There were random boxes and clutter everywhere and it did not look sterile or clean at all! When I arrived she had a different patient and I noticed that after that patient left she did not clean, wash her hands, or do any cleaning to prep for me. She also was not wearing a mask. Unprofessional for sure. Electrolysis uses needles, it is important to sterilize between each patient! On her site she says she follows CDC and American Electrology Association guidelines, but I saw quite obviously that she does not. One of their regulations is hand washing, which is so basic and yet did not happen. Needless to say, I did not give her the chance to use her equipment on me before I left. I will not be returning. I recommend everyone else stay away. New York should definitely begin to regulate electrology as many other states have to ensure no one gets hurt!

I really like that she communicates directly with her clients with text and email to stay connected with her clients. I LOVED that she has her own schedule.
