I went in to see Molly to get my roots filled. And she ended up coloring my roots with Black base color. Here is what my hair looked like immediately after leaving her salon. Totally unacceptable. It's almost comical. Just look at the picture for yourself. When I complaint, she wanted me to spend another $150 to get it fixed. When I requested for a refund, she got very nasty and called me all sorts of inappropriate names. Not how you treat customers. Avoid this place. She will pile on services you don't need. And if you are not happy, she will blame it on you. Additionally, because she put near black base color on my hair (which I didn't need. I don't have grays), I have a ring of black around my head, followed by a ring of white on my skin around me head (From the bleach she wiped around my hairline to remove the extra black colors. She told me that would be gone after a few minutes. Well, here I am 3 weeks later and still have the white band around my head. (UPDATE: Notice even in Molly's reply, she's trying in insult me. Totally unprofessional. Obviously I don't want my black roots colored with black when I'm here getting my roots filled in. She suggested I get this service done. Anyway. I got it fixed at a different place who added the highlights right. She told me, along with her insults, she didn't care if I left a review, so here I am, leaving a review. This is the second time I went to see Molly. The first time she charged me $300. Why would I go back to her if money was the issue. I can't read to read the full of lies response molly will add once she see's this 100% truthful and real review. I requested a 9am appt via ClassPass with Molly. Molly accepted that 9am appt for Balayage. I arrive ON TIME, smiling and happy and also excited to get my hair done, and she says she told ClassPass to have me come at 8:30am. If CP had told me this, I would have easily arrived a mere 30 minutes early. But CP didn't. Molly could have asked me to re-schedule, but she said she could do my hair. After sitting in her salon for over 3.5 hours, being nice, patient and hanging with her dog, she had only put a god awful red color in my hair. She never asked what color I would like as a base for the balayage either. She did have me text her some photos, and none of them had RED hair! Then, while I was waiting patiently for her to finish her 2nd other client, she comes to me, very nervous and says, oh shoot, I have to go to a party and I have the ladders in my car for it so can you come back another day to finish your hair? (at this stage I'm just internally angry and tired) but I say, sure! I live 40 minutes away, so when I get home, I've been gone for over almost 5 hours!! She asks if I can come the following Tuesday and I say yes, but ask her if I can change to Thursday with several hours notice and she says sure. The next day, Molly wants a credit card on file before she will book my appt. Now I'm mad externally and I say, Molly, I'm not going to steal from you AND you already had $244.00 of my class pass money. Then she says the card on file is standard and that my balayage is going to cost more money. By this time, I'm done so I literally tell her how rude and mean she is and that she never apologized for everything she did wrong already. She then blames me, says I lied about not being told to come at 8:30, that I cancelled on her twice. She literally said by me not showing up at 8:30am, when the CP appt clearly shows the appt was at 9am that I was 30 minutes late, which is a cancellation!!! HAHAHA. I have never had an experience like this with anyone! My hair looks disgusting with it's horrible red color. I now have to find someone new to fix it and to complete the balayage. Please don't go to something that treats people like this. My next step is to contact the state of CA and whomever else I can contact. read more

Molly is an absolute hair wizard. She knows everything there is to know about hair, and does the best Brazilian Blowouts of anyone in San Diego hands down. Molly has been doing my cuts and Brazilian blowouts for the last 6 years. Even after having moved to Philadelphia and now living in New York, I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. I have fine frizzy hair and she uses an anti-curl treatment on me which makes it shine and smooths it out beautifully.
