She did a great job of shaping and texturing my hair, while keeping it long. One thing I particularly appreciate is her attention to detail for wavy hair. She made sure to shape my cut so that it would look good and my ideal length whether I wear my hair straight, wavy, or curly. Doesn't hurt that she is also super nice and a pleasure to chat with!

The girl on the phone tells me that they are charging extra for long hair (no mention of this on LS). She said if my hair is only a few inches past my shoulders that I probably wouldn't have to pay extra. I get there and the hair dresser assigned to me says that they will have to charge me an extra $25. I was pretty upset that it was that much. She was nice about it though. The other hair dresser told me that it was listed on LS's website. In my eyes, if I didn't catch it, then it is my fault for being careless. She stated though that LS will refund me the $99 because other people left pissed off with having to pay extra. Again the hair dresser insisted it was mentioned in the ad. I go home and go to LS. NOWHERE does it say that there is an extra charge for long hair. I even read the fine print and the section you click about conditions. I ended up leaving. I have seen the BB specials for as low as $90 regardless of hair length. Called LS and will be getting a check in the mail between 3-5 weeks refunding me the money. Wasted an hour of my time driving back and forth from here as well as gas. Wouldn't go back to even if they did charge me $99 based on my experience.

I wasn't told until I actually got in there and the girl examined my hair. But it was the day before my birthday and I figured, oh well, I'm here, I'll give it a try. What a mistake. During the process the girl told me I would be so happy because I wouldn't have to use my flat iron at all anymore. Very exciting to me, since my hair is just inches from my waist and I can spend an hour flat ironing. I went to pay afterward and was told they recommended I purchase $140 worth of aftercare products. I said I didn't want to pay that much and was told that my blowout would not last as long, but if nothing else, I should go ahead and purchase the $39 masque. I went over the aftercare instruction with the girl which clearly state that after using the masque, "use heat protecting serum, blow dry hair." I waited the recommended 36 before putting the masque in my hair (which meant my head was greasy and stinky by then from all the product build up, and I still wasn't allowed to use shampoo), used some heat protecting serum, blow dried my hair and went to work. By 11am I looked in the mirror and noticed my hair was wavy and frizzy. Um, that wasn't supposed to happen. I called the place and the girl said, no, you need to flat iron it. I told her I was a little confused since I was told I wouldn't need my flat iron and the instructions said nothing about a flat iron. She said yes, the instructions say flat iron. No, they really don't. I started using my flat iron after that, just to have the straight, frizz free hair I paid for, and still am completely disappointed with the process. It's been three weeks since I went in for the treatment and my hair is exactly how it was before. Frizzy, wavy, everything I was trying to get rid of. So I guess when they say "can last up to 3 months" it's really about 3 weeks. I emailed the salon one additional time after my phone call to ask if there was anything else I could do, got no response, and sent a complaint to LivingSocial who refunded me half the $99 deal. 100% dissatisfied with SRG Salon and their poor customer service and will never ever consider going back there.

I met Olga five years ago she's been in the same location for over 7yrs now but when I met her I was passing by her salon accidentally to go to another salon in that same building "that stylist is no longer in that building" and I saw how Olga blow dry hair, and I thought every stylist in San Diego did that, but no!!! She's probably the only one who knows how to handle the round brush to blow dry the hair, if you check on my previous review on Lisa's Hair Salon which clearly have no Idea how and what to do when it comes to shampooing hair and blow drying with the round brush. Olga is an awesome human being beside her being a fantastic stylist and really sweet! I will recommend to everyone who needs that extra love on their hair!!!
