Ok so it pains me to be the first to review something and not be able to give them a half way decent review. But this place just failed on so many levels of major importance. This place needs a major overhaul and a city health inspector to come in and help them correct what goes on here. Came in one time to get brows done for me and a manicure/pedicure for a friend. The place was a total dump, although large size and had tons of stations. It was in the afternoon on a Saturday. There were only two people working there and no customers. I didn't see any certifications from the states Department of Consumer Affairs telling me they had any licensed and trained cosmetologists working there. We were told their nail technician wasn't working that day. Seriously? On a Saturday afternoon, a day when most business would come in, not one person that can do any type of nail service. They didn't even mention when they would come in. Granted this was another "peek a color" place, it was one of the ones in the worst condition I've seen and for the amount of services they have you'd think at least one of the two people working there would be able to do nails. So one person there can do waxing and the other person nothing else but stand around all day. Not impressed at all....way below expectations. But unfortunately its typical of these low grade salons to have a person for each type of service. You know, they'd be making money if one person could do at least two types of service and they hired a person working their business hours that could do each service. Otherwise don't be open and waste someone's time walking in. Of course then again walking in and seeing not one customer on a Saturday afternoon might actually be a sign that we may have dodged a bullet by avoiding service here altogether and the fact that I'm the first person to review the place is another sign. I'm sure I'm not the only person who took one step in the place and immediately got grossed out, but I am the first to kiss and tell about it that's for sure. Save yourself the trouble, there's other places in the area that will want your business enough to have services available. They get 1 star for the amount of services that can be done here (assuming the folks doing them are actually at work on the day you walk in). They need to work on de-dumpifying the place, making it more aesthetically pleasing, clean up the place so there isn't filth everywhere, and actually hire people who will show up to do their jobs when the place is open and available to provide those services.
