This was the WORST experience ever. Newly relocated here. Upon walk in I am not greeted but asked " you need a haircut?" To which I reply yes. In which a older lady replies " you look ready for halloween." Due to the color of my hair. Come sit here she says to which I sit in the chair. She in turn asked me what would you like I said please fade the sides to a tapper and trim the top. She proceeds to grab her comb and pulling my hair states do you not comb this. Instantly my reaction was to walk out but I stayed and replied No my hair is very curly it takes water and gel to call it a day easy going. As the service continues I felt as if I was being interrogated where am I from what do I do am I working just for a simple haircut. My hair cut is AWFUL! My front hairline looks as if a 9 year old was given clippers to put in context my hairline looks like this ~~ I am highly disappointed as a the service I received was not acceptable. This place is just awful I'd recommend going somewhere else and not here . My husband has gone to this place a few times and every time they mess him up in some way . And today was finally the day I had enough . This lady had messed up clippers or something and continued to cut his hair as it continued to scratch him leaving his head and neck with burns and bumps, and having his skin break out in hives . This so so unprofessional and disgusting as well as disrespectful to people who pay to get their haircuts from this place.. if you are looking for more of a professional haircut and not rushed and looking for at least a well done haircut sunni's is not the place at all.. read more

I asked for a medium fade and a little bit off the top. What I got was a high fade and a little off the front but none of the other hairs on top of my head trimmed. It's a great place to get a high and tight haircut but terrible if you want anything else. I specifically asked several times during my haircut if she was fading it too high and she had me turned away from the mirror the whole time. I took my biracial 4-year old here to get a haircut. His hair texture is really curly but fine. No haircut was done because the woman immediately made me try to comb through his curly hair, and within 1 minute, someone else walked into the nearly empty shop, she told me to take him to chairs and comb through his hair while she worked on someone else. There were 3 other barbers sitting there doing nothing. When she said that, I said we were going somewhere else. When you go to this store...MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR SUNNI! I am not saying that everyone else is bad, but Sunni is the owner and she has the most experience with cutting military style hair. The only down fall of this place is that they only take cash so make sure you have at least $10 (plus tip) with you so you don't end up paying $3 or more on service fees thru the ATM. I stress this again -- this place is one of the BEST military barber stores near Fort Drum, and it is solely because of this woman, Sunni. She has curly gray hair with glasses and always greets the customers no matter how busy she is, and she is very fun to talk to (as she has exceptional memory and will remember you every time you come thru). On top of that, after every hair cut -- she gives you the best massage ever. I wait for her every time I go there just because I was not satisfied with three other women over there that cut my hair; but Sunni -- she belongs in the Hall of Fame for military haircuts, period! read more

If you want fast that is what your going to get. Nothing else. No good service at all. Cash only. The cash isn't the bad part, its just a little inconvenient. I told them I wanted a High fade and they give me a mid fade. I tell them to bring it up and then they tell me that the haircut I had been getting for years is not what I say it is. Never in my life have I ever had to walk back into a barbershop and have them correct a hair cut until now. No joke worst haircut in my life. They only get so much of their business is because they are located right off a military base. There are some pretty bad places to get your haircut around Watertown and I used to come here for two years before they really fucked up my haircut, and i can deal with an crappy haircut for a week but this one was terrible, the owner Sunni who cut my hair cut it in under 5 minutes and there was no one else in line. I didn't pay her because it was that bad. I had to go to another place to get it fixed after leaving there. I just went back in today hoping that they could redeem their name and it was not as bad but still unacceptable. I've had some bad luck there but if I'm paying for a service it shouldn't be unpredictable. Save your money and find a barber who can cut hair. read more
