Typically, I come for a wax and always feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the process. During a recent visit, I decided to ask about facials (I've never had one before). Laurie (the owner) explained several to me that would be beneficial for my skin concerns. I booked an appointment for the four layer mask facial and nervously went to my appointment. After she brought me down to the room where the procedure was to be performed, she explained the series of events to be expected. Throughout her explanation she asked if I had any questions. She was very welcoming and comforting and provided a fantastic explanation for what was to be expected. After undressing and getting comfortable on the table she came in and began my facial. It was an AMAZING experience and I highly recommend it to everyone! The aromas of the product and the room were relaxing; the subtle music in the background helped me to unwind. I felt as though I was being transported to another place. Her expertise with facials made each phase feel like second nature for her hands. I am beyond words by how impressed I am from this experience. As I mentioned, this was my first facial every and so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I will definitely be setting the bar high for my future facials. I walked out of my appointment feeling extremely relaxed and my face feels softer than a baby's bottom. Honestly, I'm not sure when my face has ever felt this great! I will be back for more!

She walked away and said she would come back after I picked another polish. I picked another one in the same pink color family. She again said "no good" and basically threw the bottle on the table. She handed me another group of swatches and told me to pick one. None of them were even close to what I wanted. Eventually she handed me another one that worked. Again sneering and stomping around throughout. Not a Spa service,downright rude! When I gave her a $5 tip(that she did not deserve) she again sneered at me, did not thank me and did not say goodbye. I went in for a walk-in pedicure on Saturday 3/28 and was seated fairly quickly, which I…read moreappreciated. However, my experience quickly went downhill once the service began. It took about 5-10 minutes for the technician to come over and start. When she asked how short I wanted my toenails trimmed, I clearly explained that if they were cut too short, I tend to get ingrown toenails--especially on both sides of my big toes. Despite this, while trimming my left big toenail, she used cuticle cutters to cut deeply into both sides of the nail. It was extremely painful, and I was visibly uncomfortable the entire time. Although she applied antiseptic afterward, the damage had already been done. When she moved on to the other foot, I was so concerned about a repeat of that pain that I told her I didn't have issues with that nail, even though I actually do. I never asked for ingrown toenail treatment--only that my nails not be cut too short--so this was both unexpected and upsetting. Today, my left big toe is red, swollen, and painful to walk on. I've been applying bacitracin and keeping it covered, but it's clearly irritated from being cut too aggressively. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. This experience was painful and avoidable, and it felt like there was a significant miscommunication during the service that led to it.
