Joe the owner of Hairforce was very responsive and accommodating to making a first appt when he opened up at 11AM on a Monday! In the U.S. hair salons are closed on Sundays & Mondays! So Joe was a blessing for me to have his hair salon open in Florence the day before I fly back to the U.S. It's been a healing journey for me after 2 great losses of my business and lost of a 2yr+ relationship that when I surrendered to God, Jesus & the Holy Trinity, he brought me to Rome, and then to Florence for over 3 weeks to meet incredible people that my faith in people is slowly be restored! My colorist is Nunzia who has "magic hands" to give me the greatest color and styling along with an amazing head massage when she washed my hair! Last week, I panicked because my hair was so dead and unhealthy at the bottom. I try to keep it really long but knew I needed to get it cut short. I read about Hairforce in my friend's abroad bible and heard nothing but great things...so I gave it a try! I was super nervous but I spoke to the owner and he was absolutely incredible and spoke great english. He is so sweet and honestly gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone. I also did a deep conditioning treatment which was professionally applied and truly helped to strengthen my hair. Hairforce is wonderful!!!! I went in for a haircut and walked out with a fantastic haircut and blowout. Despite a language barrier (I am a study abroad student who knows very little Italian), the lady that cut my hair was wonderful and made sure that we were on the same page before every next move she made. The owner, Joe, is fluent in English and was happy to assist, is very funny, and seems to be a very talented hairdresser himself. Can't recommend enough - especially to study abroad students looking for an easy haircut!! They also have strong free WiFi, offer sodas/water, and provide magazines. 10/10!!!! read more

The lovely man with the dreadlocks (sorry I forgot your name!) cut my hair beautifully! I've been wanting to get a fringe for ages but have been too scared to do so. I walked in on a whim today and got an appointment on the spot. I'm so happy with how it turned out! My fringe looks beautiful and my hair feels so revived. I felt at ease during the whole process. I was a bit nervous to get my hair done in Florence because my Italian is non existent. I was so happy to get an appointment with Hairforce because of the excellent reviews and knowing Joe spoke English. All of the staff were super lovely and welcoming. The lady that did my hair did a wonderful job and I felt bad that I couldn't chat to her in Italian and let her know that I was very happy. I absolutely loved getting my hair cut here! I was studying abroad and needed a hair cut to help with the sudden heat in Florence and had an amazing experience. I was a little nervous cutting off a lot because I have had really long hair for years but Joe cut my hair in steps, asking if I wanted to go shorter or if the length was good. I've struggled to find a salon that can help rid my naturally blond hair of the brassy orange color that comes from the hard water of Florence. After my visit to Hairforce today, I have finally found a salon that gets it! The colourist listed to my struggle and preferences. They did a colour correct to my roots and a few highlights, so it was less damaging than treatments I've received elsewhere. I am so happy with the color and the texture of my hair.
