What I particularly like about Kim is that she doesn't style/color your hair *just to do it*; she thinks about what will look best and lets you know. Two months later, I went in for a cut and *I thought* retouching the highlights, and Kim told me that there was no reason to retouch up the highlights right away. She said they still looked good and there was no reason that i shouldn't get a few haircuts out of a full foil. So basically i would've done whatever she told me would be good, and she could've made another $60 or so, but she told me to wait. As a student, this was much appreciated advice! It's nice to pay suburb prices instead of Boston salon prices as well! I went from having long hair to a short layered bob, for only $35! One reviewer mentioned the not answering phones thing. Yeah, I'm not sure what that's about, and that has definitely happened to me. Why not just pick up the phone? We know you're there! I got a french pedicure with regular polish with Tracy. She was also so kind, very gentle, and attentive! My favorite part was the massage. OMG I almost fell asleep. Tracy also gave me these plastic things to protect my pedicure since I was wearing sneakers, I've never had that done before! Her care and attention to detail is really great. I just moved back to Everett, MA after being away from the US for 8 years. I stumbled into Top International Hair Salon since it is very close to my house but I knew nothing about this place. To my surprise, I found a familiar face! I was confident Susanna is a capable hairdresser since the place she used to work has very high standards; Susanna was not my hairdresser at the other place. So, I got my hair cut from Susanna and I was more than pleased with the result! My haircut costs $25 but it's $30 for women; they will wash your hair before and after. Well, I used to pay $40 for a haircut in Boston and I am paying less now, traveling less and getting the same quality! Oh, I always bring some photos of mine showing my hair when it was short whenever I go to a new hair salon, and I never had any issues with any new hairdressers. My hair grows really fast and I will be going back to see Susanna every 3 weeks.

I told the woman there to cut off just one inch and give me a few layers in the back. She chopped off 3 inches and gave me way too many layers that it look so shredded. Damn if I'd told her 3 inches, she probably would've given me a cut so short and puffy that I look like a chia pet.
