He loves all the attention lol. The groomers are FANTASTIC!!!! Diana and Jules are incredible, patient, and gentle. They put up with Pretzels very dramatic loud whines, moans and groans. He hates getting his nails cut. For reference, when our vet cut his nails, it took two assistants to hold him still. a muzzle (which pretzel has no aggression but i guess it's standard for our practice but he also whines like a husky lol) and lots of peanut butter for a minimal trim. Both Diana and Jules have provided the best trims and files in 15mins without ever nipping the kwick, no muzzle, no peanut butter, one human job. They are the best. We've been monthly regulars for about 1.5 years now. Owner Karin is kind, passionate about animals and knowledgeable! When Pretzel had a medical accident this past November she was able to give us all the information we needed on orthopedic dog beds that kept him comfortable through his recovery and even since making a full recovery he still lays on it daily! The walkers that came to us were wonderful. They respected our home, rules, and always treated our dogs like they were their own. Aylin was normally assigned to our pups. She would always send us great photos and updates from her 30 minute walks/ playdates with the dogs. She took the time to figure out what worked best for our two. The dogs, or The Cheesies as she called them, were always thrilled to see her. Our dog, Reggie, also went to daycare at their facility for a few weeks, but because of his dog reactivity/ easy overstimulation, we decided that utilizing their walking service would be better for him. I loved that they picked him up from home for us. Their services really helped us out and made us not have to worry about how we would get him to and from the facility. When I called to book an appt for my mini golden doodle's wash and cut, I spoke with Kelly. She was very nice and helpful in getting all of my information and finding a time for my dog that week. I met the owner Madeleine upon drop off. My doodle had a good amount of matting on her chest and back legs and I expressed how I didn't want her shaved and to try their best to keep her hair as long as possible. Madeleine was honest with me and said it's going to be hard to keep her hair long with such deep matting, but they would try their best. Upon pickup, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my girl's hair was still long and fluffy. It took about 2.5 hours which was the estimated time they told me. The price was also very fair for a mini golden doodle, $95. I've paid up to $180 for cuts that I didn't like as much as this one. The drive is 20 minutes each way for me. When I arrived the woman at the counter was extremely rude and hasty. Speaking to me with a mouth full of food. She didn't greet me and asked for my information by pointing at my dog (6lb Maltese) asking "who's this one?". When I gave her my pups name and confirmed my initial reservation was at 2:30 and I was called to arrive at 1pm she said "okay bath" and I confirmed the services that I agreed upon - while speaking she proceeded to interrupt me and was very rude. If there was some sort of misunderstanding between myself and the woman who made the reservation (which happens - we are all humans) - there are ways of clarifying without being rude. I don't know if this is how this location conducts business. But it is truly unprofessional and ugly for lack of a better word. I'm happy I didn't leave my dog there. Groomers need to understand - we are leaving our beloved dog in your hands, in your care! - how you present yourself is key! This woman gave this business a very poor image and name and I will be sure to express this experience with my community chat to prevent anyone else this complete waste of time. That included bathing, trimming the fur on his paws so that his nails could be safely trimmed, his ears cleaned, the fur around his rear end trimming, because he is an English Setter and therefore has long hair and I want to avoid any fecal matter caught in the hair around his rear en. Occasionally, I ask to have his anal glands expressed. Previously, this was done and did not cause any problems afterwards. This first time I took my dog in to be groomed, I asked for his anal glands to be expressed. The next morning, when I took him out after he ate breakfast, the first thing that happened was a considerable amount of blood squirted out of his anus and he immediately ran back into the house and curled up in his bed and started licking his rear. Not only did the new owner neglect to trim his rear fur, she also did not trim the fur surrounding his paws, so when she clipped his nails, she couldn't see them properly, and cut off his entire dewlap and two of his front toe nails. When we got home, his paws were a bloody mess and didn't stop bleeding. It was evening by then, but our responsible, caring vet told us to clean them and then put him on antibiotics. I have given it one star because a star rating is required, but honestly, I would place a warning sign instead. Do not let your pet be butchered there!

He suddenly ruptured a mass on his spleen and was told twice by two separate hospitals that he more than likely had cancer and would pass away shortly even with surgery if it was cancerous. We were heartbroken thinking we were spending our last moments with our baby. Dr Miccio has been his primary vet for some time now and spoke life back into the situation, my dog and my family. She gave us realistic hope again. She explained the risks and the realities if it was cancer once the spleen was removed and biopsied. Long story short, HE IS CANCER FREE. Dr Miccio is godsend and truly is a healthcare professional because she cares about the health of her patients. I am forever grateful to Dr Miccio and the whole staff that helped my baby recover and be given a chance at more life when others were ready to bury him.
