I was literally speechless and left to figure out how to authenticate it. Then we had a winter weather alert for our closing and I reached out to inquire about contingency plans. Closing was set on the same day as our rate lock so it had a very real financial impact and I wanted to be proactive about any alternative options since the closing office was far from our home. They said it wasn't their problem and that was between us and the lender. When I stated their lack of contingency plans is an issue, I was told that no one can predict weather which further left me more speechless than how they sent wire instructions. I explained yes you can predict the weather and I have alerts that there was going to be severe weather and hazardous road conditions. She then rudely said I was interrupting her.
