I've heard the hype about Halal Burgers and was excited to finally give it a try. The menu is wonderfully simple. There's a traditional burger called Signature Burger, then numbered 1-3 depending on how many patties. They have three fancier burgers -- Mushroom & Swiss, BBQ or Jalapeño. There are three types of chicken sandwiches -- Regular, Mango Habanero or Nashville Hot. They also offer chicken wings or chicken tenders with 8 sauces to choose from. Side options are waffle fries or onion rings. If you have a sweet tooth, they offer six flavors of milk shakes. I went with the Signature Burger 2 and a side of waffle fries. In addition to the two patties, it comes with two slices of American cheese, caramelized onions, signature sauce and mayonnaise. It was ready in under 10 minutes and I was on my way. They do have about ten tables if you want to dine inside. The burger comes wrapped in foil and stayed pretty warm by the time I got home. The flavor was excellent but after a few bites it almost seemed too decadent for a burger. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than it was so rich and dense that I think my taste buds were confused. I couldn't really taste the signature sauce, so I think next time I would ask for extra signature sauce and get it without mayonnaise. The fries were crispy and all in all it ended up being the perfect amount of food. I'd be interested to try one of the chicken sandwiches next time. read more

I was skeptical. The best burgers in the Dayton area are at Halal Burgers. It has a 4.6 on Yelp and a 5 on Google. I tried the jalapeño burger and the signature burger. The signature burger was indeed the best burger I've had in this area. It's the seasoning they use. The meat is outstanding and it was well seasoned. The burger was completely balanced with cheese, sauce and meat. Five stars. The jalapeño burger was also very good. But the burger seasoning did not come through. It was a very good burger as well. Halal Burgers is a local place off Lyons Road in Centerville. It was highly rated on DoorDash, so I thought I would give them a try. I got the Signature Burger 2 combo, with the waffle fries and a caramel milkshake. The cheeseburger is two beef patties with cheese on top of both the beef patties. It was seasoned well, with caramelized onions. It was a very cheesy and juicy burger, not overly greasy, but a fried burger just the same. It tastes a bit spicy but I think that's due to the onions. The waffle fries were seasoned too and typical of waffle fries that you'll get at other establishments. They were crispy and not soggy. The caramel shake tasted good and came topped with whipped cream. It reminded me of cold coffee drink at Starbucks. It's not a thick shake but it does taste good. I ordered delivery via DoorDash and my order arrived quickly. Items were packaged very well with much care. The burger came in styrofoam container, the fries in paper wrapper, and both were carefully placed in a paper bag with plenty of napkins, a straw, and ketchup condiments. The paper bag was then placed in a plastic bag. The milkshake came in a plastic cup and the opening at the top was covered with a sticker to prevent bad things from coming in. This level of care is commendable and I really am appreciative of this. Overall, a great experience. The cheeseburger was very tasty and the highlight of the meal but everything was good. I recommend and would order from here again! They also have chicken tenders, chicken wings and chicken sandwiches. There are a variety of beef burgers to choose from. Recommended. read more

Is it a restaurant or a grocery store? What does zabiha halal mean? Who is the guy in the four foot poster on the wall? These are questions I needed answers to. I had a taste of the signature burger, a zinger chicken sandwich ( I think that's what they called it), and the o rings. Everything was created fresh with fresh veggie toppings. It all has a Middle East taste. So it didn't exactly satisfy my American comfort food palette. We ordered from GrubHub last night when we got to our hotel after a review from Mullet Review. We each got a burger and waffle fries. The fries were cold unfortunately but still had good flavor. Went here for lunch. First time coming here. The service was great. I got there right before noon and I was only one there. The place is pretty big. They have lots of tables to sit at. The food was delicious. It was made fresh. I had the signature burger combo. The was fries and the burger tasted so good. This place is really good! I did the Triple patty cheese burger. It was massive and I was stuffed after. (Honestly i should have done the double patty, it was so much meat!) Disappointed - reviews are so good. I ordered the single bacon bbq burger. The patty was thin and overcooked - rather dry. The bacon was well done and did not give any bacon flavor. Good thing there was a good amount of bbq sauce on it. I didn't finish eating it. Super basic. Even a quarter-pounder from McD's beats this. Saving grace was the waffle fries! Interesting seasoning/coating that I've never had before. Fresh and crisp. I don't see myself coming back here. Employees were nice. This was a very hard four star for me. I really wanted to give it five but just couldn't get there. I ordered a signature burger, chicken sandwich, and fries. The flavors were unique and very good. The negative part is that there wasn't enough of them. They have a signature sauce but it's more of a spread on the buns. You can just faintly taste the flavors, with each bite teasing you, making you want more. I don't know if this is considered under-seasoned or that's how it's supposed to be, but I needed more. This place is attached to a grocery store, and is very clean and the workers look very professional and hardworking. I ordered on an ordering pad so I didn't get to interact with them much. The pad seems very busy on it, especially with a soft drink choice even though they just give a cup and you fill it yourself. The area is a little small, and they had UFC on the tv very loud, which made it less appealing to dine in. The restroom is also on the grocery side. First of all it's attached to small market and it is not fancy....you order at the counter and they bring it out to you when it's ready. There are a few tables for dining in but you can also carry out. They do not sell alcohol. The menu is pretty basic - many different size and style burgers, chicken tenders, chicken wings, waffle fries, onion rings, and a variety of shakes. I got the double burger with their "signature sauce". It was excellent! The meat was very good and cooked well. The sauce was a bbq/ketchup. The fries were hot & tasty! I've heard while a bit about this restaurant from a local foodie Facebook group, so I figured I needed to give it a try. I tried the Signature Burger 2 and my wife had the wings with BBQ sauce. Mind you, I stopped in after our family Christmas on Christmas Day. The place had a good amount of customers waiting for their food. The food came quickly and the staff were very friendly. This is a no frills place that doesn't do a lot, but what they do...:they do really well. I tried their double signature burger and fries the first time and then the tenders and fries on my second visit. The burger was amazing, caramelized onions, melty cheese, and the sauce they put on them.....wow.
