This is one of my new favorite halal spots in Nassau County. It's hard to differentiate chicken and rice because well lets face it, they all sort of taste the same. Somehow by the love of halal, this place managed to set itself apart. Lets start with the rice. They offer two choices (a spicy white rice and a "brown rice"). The spicy rice is a popular choice. But I always go for the brown rice. The name is a bit of a misnomer. It's not really "brown rice", it just looks brown. Its a bit of a rougher, chewier tasting rice which honestly is amazing. The chicken - well let's face it, it tastes the same as all the other halal places. The sauces - the bbq and white sauce is essentially the same. Now let's move on to the sides. It's not just lettuce and pita bread. You now get to choose from a legitimately stocked salad bar, fully equipped with garbanzo beans and more. This is what earned this place the 5 stars. Now not only do I get my chicken and rice, I get the option for extra fiber on the side. Not to mention you're getting more food for the already low price you're paying. A perfect go-to on a busy work night! We ordered in, delivery took about 30 minutes and food arrived ready to eat! Great customer service... when i called in an order for gyro with no salad... they made a mistake and ended up including the salad. But were kind and honest enough to include a separate gyro just the way we had asked for... for free! The gyro (lamb/ chicken) & falafel are both good quality. They don't taste greasy like normal cart food. The flavors here are clean and delicious. We enjoy their masala fries which have a chaat masala taste... kind of a tangy spicy mix... overall fantastic! We tried their shakes and really enjoyed the birthday cake, blueberry cheesecake, and pistachio. They were a great compliment to our meal. This is a brand new place that I have seen ads for so my friends and I decided to stop by after work one night. I got the bacon cheeseburger and my friend got a zinger burger which is a batter fried spicy chicken sandwich. The burgers were good but the star of the meal was their masala fries! It was phenomenal and I couldn't just stop eating it. Their menu is pretty extensive from halal platters to burgers to sandwiches and salads. I can understand people being hyped about a fresh Halal spot with good food.. but being someone who has taken a liking to the various Halal trucks and restaurants in the area I would say this is a three star spot. I ordered a few things. Overall portions weren't overloaded like some give you. I asked for pita in all my combos and didn't get it. Chicken was okay as well as the falafel but not great. Got 2 zingers and the chicken is so very thin, dry and ome is not wide enough to fit half the bun. They look more like chicken tenders then chicken for a sandwich. Im considering combining the chiken chickens into one sandwich. Also take a look at the sauce. Its a zinger sandwich which is suppose to have spicy sauce and its a tiny squirt in the middle. Everytime I order a zinger its a juicy saucy sandwich. What happened? Their cheese steak use to be filled up but now its just okay with meat. Still better then both zingers. Very sad. We were passersby and saw this place so decided to stop and check it out since it was halal. The menu was the usual casual halal fast food choices. I decided to order the steak gyro and bacon cheese fries. This was all prepared in the kitchen inside so I couldn't see what was going on and it took about 15 min which I didn't mean cuz I thought it was being prepared fresh. When I got the order, the fries clearly appeared they were leftovers and refried again. They were dribbled with cheez whiz and some greasy hard turkey bacon. I complained to the guy about the fries being refried and first he didn't admit but then asked if I wanted it made again to which I refused. The steak gyro was actually minced meat with huge pieces of tomato, lettuce and usual white sauce. There was no sign of steak pieces. Not all desi places do this. Most will fry fries on demand for each order. Not this place. So I obviously won't be coming back. read more

Was excited to try this new place have been looking for good quick halal food in the area. Good news is the food is very good, and very fairly priced. The chicken & steak over rice is great, as is the falafel. Small seating area not for a large group to dine in. DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB if you're getting most of the platters it's $1 more ordering off their app - I understand marking up prices to account for grubhub's fees but most places do it by like 20 cents. Basically order straight from the restaurant to save yourself a couple bucks. Also something that would have been good to know or to put on their menu is that if you want a 'mix' platter you can mix lamb & chicken only or falafel & steak only (so not steak+lamb). Otherwise there's a $2 up charge that no one tells you about (until you're paying) even though they are all the same exact price to begin with. So sort of confused there, and didn't really get a good rationale when I asked why. But hey the foods good, maybe they'll change that random policy. read more
