He had ordered it "Medium spicy", but I think the kitchen was grading on a curve: It was less punchy than the soup. Still, I wouldn't order "Hot" as I once did here: The chef takes pride in his liberal use of peppers at this level. (The menu warns you: "This is a dish for stronger constitutions"). My lamb shashlik was char grilled on a skewer (thoughtfully removed prior to serving) with slices of tomato, onions and green peppers, plated on a sizzling iron plate.
