I absolutely love that they now have a Southtowns location! We definitely need more ethnic food options in the area, and I'm so glad we were able to sample them at a recent event. Now I'm already anxious to head over to their restaurant. Typically, I'm not someone who orders rice dishes, but their tandoori chicken completely changed my mind. The sauce tied everything together beautifully and made the whole dish incredibly flavorful. I can't wait to bring my gluten-free mom there because I know she'll love it too. I also had the chance to try their vegetable samosa -- a delicious crispy fried pastry filled with a savory potato and veggie mixture. It honestly reminded me of a flavorful Indian-style stuffing. This was my first time ordering food from Alibaba and I was so happy we did. We did a pick up order to get out of the house on the cold night for a little cabin fever escape. I ordered the chicken swarma and some garlic cheese naan to go with it. It was SO MUCH FOOD!!! The naan was prepared perfectly. I was able to throw my swarma on top of the naan and fold it up perfectly with no rips to make my own wrap. Game changer. They even gave me extra sauces for everything. I was so full and STILL had leftovers! Super friendly staff when we picked it up, Our order was prepared quick and, the affordable menu had a lot of options. The vibes here were on point. Well the first time I went there, I really enjoyed the kebabs, chicken, lamb, beef, And the naan i didn't eat it, because the man who was rolling it out didn't have on gloves, and he dropped one of the pokers on the floor, picked it up and used it to take the naan out of the tandoori oven, i was never a fan of basmati rice, but it was okay with the garlic sauce. I didn't know this place existed until I was having a crazy day and my husband asked me what take out I wanted him to get for me. I said surprise me. He brought me home the chicken shwarma rice bowl. It waa such a good surprise. He ordered the smallest one for me, which ended up being 2 large meals for me. It was incredible. The flavors were so good, the white sauce was delicious. Every time we order, the food is outstanding. We've had takeout mostly from the Buffalo location, so this is the first time we've ordered from Orchard Park. The food quality and taste are identical. We had the Butter chicken with rice, the meat trio wrap, samosas, naan and samosa chaat. Very fresh, great flavor and the sauces are the perfect compliment to all the dishes. Originally ordered from this location as a pick up order. Had to go back within the week for more. Is dangerous for your wallet because everything tastes soooo good. Every dish is reasonably priced and so so yummy. We got samosas, tandoori fish and rice, and a Trio (tandoori chicken, chicken shawarma, and gyro over rice, onions, cilantro, garlic and their amazing sauce). There are parts online to edit if you want more or less cilantro and whatnot. Very easy to use and order digitally! When we went in person that week, we got more samosas and fish over rice. The location was very clean, very sterile looking, shiny. Lol. Limited table spaces, but that's to expect because I think it's more of a order out kinda place. Customer service was very kind, nice and helpful. There was a bit of a wait for someone to come out and talk to us. But it was understandable because it seemed like there were only two employees and both were cooking. Highly recommend and will return, prolly sooner rather than later! read more

Just watched the WGRZ Spotlight on Alibaba kebab and went to check out the menu. This restaurant serves high salt dishes. A 500 cal rice dish has 2100 mg or 100% of your daily salt content. This is a heart attack, waiting to happen and I don't understand why WGRZ reviewed this as being a healthy restaurant. While the meat ingredient may be healthy. All of the seasoning and sauces are so salty that you will have high blood pressure if you eat this once a month! There's no reason for this much salt. They don't give a darn about your health. Went to look at the place and check out what foods they offer things look good ordered one of their fresh wraps to go when I was pulling out it was a big sign in front of the building buybone fresh wrap, get one fresh wrap, free. the man of the counter never offered me my second wrap, free. First time trying this place and it was delicious! The portions are huge. I did get the large version to share but the regular portion would have been quite enough for two meals. I ordered tandoori chicken, tandoori shrimp and an order of falafel with humus. All of it was hot and had great flavors, even with taking it to go. The gentleman behind the counter was helpful and not pushy as I decided what I wanted. The restaurant was very clean and well lite inside and the signage makes it stand out in the plaza. After ordering I was informed it would be about 15 minutes as everything is made fresh, not just sitting around in a pot hoping to sell. I grew a fondness for Alibaba at their original location on William about 7 years ago when I was working on the set of the First Purge movie while it was filming nearby. Alibaba was a convenient, affordable spot for lunch. Enjoyed the food then, still enjoyed it from this location. One of the positives here is for the vegan crowd. Alibaba does have vegan options, and in the southtowns, which tend to be void of vegan and other cultural options, this is much needed. Super friendly staff, quick order preparation, affordable menu with a lot of options. And they keep these cultural foods from being scary or intimidating. If you've never tried their food, you can literally try anything off the menu. It's all good. read more

Food was pretty good and ready on time but the free mango lassi (order over $40) must have been free because it was nonexistent (Yes, it was added to the online order, no it was not in the bags picked up). Samosa was good but I wish they had tamarind chutney in addition to the green sauce. Boti kebab seems to be inconsistent in portion size from day to day. Of the three varieties, chicken is the best. Chicken tikka was dry and hard. The first time we ordered the quality was much better. The missing lassi, small kebabs and dry chicken tikka bring it to a 3 overall. read more

Took advantage of the West Seneca location grand opening deal, and I can say for sure we will be coming back for more! I find most Indian food to be very drippy with sauce. This place serves up a tidy rice box and tightly-wrapped wrap that won't make a mess. I especially like their mango lassi, smooth with tiny bits of mango left intact. The restaurant is a clean, sunshine-filled lunch spot with plenty of seating, parking and joyful customer service. So happy to finally have delicious Indian food in our own West Seneca. I look forward to trying everything on their extensive, reasonably-priced menu. read more

We were looking for Indian food tonight and found Alibaba Kebab. We love our Indian dinners and this restaurant did not disappoint. We ordered the butter chicken and chicken tiki masala. Both were delicious, at least an 8/10 in terms of flavor. The only disappointment was the amount of chicken could have been more. There was a lot of sauce. Dipping sauces were delicious, and the naan was hot and fresh, but not crispy. I'd give the naan about a 5/10. I wish they offered the stuffed onion naan, that's my favorite. The restaurant was super clean as was the restroom. The staff were neatly dressed, clean, and nice. We will definitely be back and are glad we found this place so close to home! I was looking forward to trying this place, but it was a miss for me. On one hand, it was so cold inside, it was unpleasant to sit to eat, even is parkas. The bathroom was also not clean, with drink bottles lying on the floor, warm water not working, and overall dirty looking. The service was pleasant, hence the three stars. The food was ok. I found the falafel and hummus just ok, and the tandoori chicken rice bowl had tiny shreds of dry chicken with very little sauce and tons of fairly bland rice. Overall it was fairly bland and dry. I might try another location, maybe, because hopefully this one was just going through the pains of recently opening. read more
