When they hand you your keys, they say "Welcome Home", and they mean it! Very kind and open-minded people and I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast for anyone staying in Northeast Kansas! Oh and if you stay there, be sure to get the one-hour long massage for only $45 - their massage therapist is the BEST I've been to - in my life. Can't recommend highly enough! The only downside is that there are only privacy locks on the inside of the doors - at the time of this posting there was no way to lock the door from the outside leaving me a bit anxious about leaving my belongings in my room. However, nothing was stolen or anything, it was just different than most B&Bs or hotels.

The bed was comfortable, decor was warm and inviting, and the large jacuzzi tub was very relaxing and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was homemade french toast and we enjoyed it on the sunny indoor porch complete with koi pond. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night but definitely have a new favorite in terms of local places to stay. For the price and hospitality I would recommend staying here even if you live nearby like we did and just want to get away. If you're in the area visiting Lawrence or Kansas City this isn't far from either cities and is worth the drive.
