I love the massage I got, the best one that I have received in the Jackson area. I used Groupon and felt that it was worth the groupon price. but the regular prices put it out of my price range. and are much higher than a lot of other massage therapies. Came across this place on Groupon. Had satisfied customers there and I figured worth a shot. Great experience and great massage! I did a combo package that included a session of amethyst ion treatment? To be honest, it seemed just like a relaxing time on a heating pad, but either way it was a great prep for a massage! The actual massage itself was great, I wish I could recall my masseuses' name but she was great about insuring if the pressure was appropriate or not. Normally with a lot of higher end spas I always feel like the advertised 60 minute massage is never 60 minutes, that they are counting from the time you walk in the door. Hit or miss. The man at reception is very nice but a little over the top at times with using your name too often, being overly polite, etc. Better over than under polite, I guess! As for massage, it was well done in terms of relieving muscle tension, but sadly, made me uncomfortable enough that I won't go back. You women know what I mean. You have to stay strictly professional and not flirt with your clients in this kind of context, when you are in a vulnerable state. He just went too close to areas I did not want massaged, and made jokes such as calling the massage a "first date" and told me not to "cheat on him". Not appreciated. I also received a Brazilian wax from Spa Beca which was excellent. Crystal knows what she is doing, and is very friendly and professional. It was as efficient and non-awkward as possible. Pain was predictable, nothing that is within an aestetician's control. I give her five stars. read more

I received a gift card to this spa from my husband for valentine's day this year (2014). The gift card was only good until May 13 so in March I started trying to make an appointment so I wouldn't be cutting it to close and the card expire. I have yet to get an appointment made. Every time I call the receptionist is not at the business and states he needs to call me back. He has called back one time and even then said he was still not at the business, but wanted me to know i wasn't "forgotten" I have called at least 3 times and my husband has called 3 or 4 times as well. The card expires in 2 days and I guess that money is just lost seeing as we can't track the "receptionist" down. read more
