Big problem it was Sunday and all the studios were closed. I've drove around and found Just Breath Pilates. Even though they were closed there was somebody inside the studio and I knocked on the window and explained my problem. Around an hour later I was outside again, with a back that felt a whole lot better. Thank god for all the stretching and those special exercises :-) Just Breath Pilates saved the day. The girl who helped me was very friendly and the atmosphere was very open. It was also extremely cool that they helped me, even though they were closed. I thanked them for that one a lot. But the girl brushed those words of with 'happy to be of service'. One thing that was funny is: the studio has machines that looks like set pieces form 50 shades of grey. But they helped ;-) The stretching helped my back, but afterward the girl who helped me said I had let someone help with my back when I got home. Which was good advice.

Give it a try!…read more Long version: I used to dance competitive hip hop on a collegiate team years ago and have always wanted to go back, but studios like Snowglobe and Offstage are a trek from Camarillo. So I stopped. I was hesitant at first because a lot of studios in the area are tailored to children or workout programs for adults. But when I looked at classes, they have a great variety that are tailored to adults. Nothing wrong with 10 and younger but not quite the classes I'm looking for. I signed up for heels and had a lot of fun. I was a fish out of water and immediately changed into sneakers but that's because I've never done heels and jumped into intermediate/advance. Everyone seemed to know each other already so it was cool to see a community there. The space is great - a lot of floor space. Cubbies on the side. Bathroom. Lights. Can't really go wrong. Instructor and owner were really kind. Will definitely try other classes. Happy to see more diverse studios finally showing up in Camarillo.

A lovely location and I enjoyed my glimpse of the water just before sweating it out in my Barre class. I've come to enjoy attending classes at VFit and find the smaller classes to be nice. Know that because of the smaller sizes, if you sign up for classes individually like I do, each class is at the premium price because of setting. $3 more than a regular mat class, not awful really.

Today was my last class before going back, and after going consistently for these four months, I have to say that of any workout I've ever done, this is the strongest I've ever felt. I mostly attended Sami's classes as they lined up with my schedule and I feel like she is true gold. One of the best instructors I've had in any sport or any workout class I've done for 34 years of my life. Highly recommended checking out her class if you're on the fence. This place is a real gem.

Every class still hurts , but I feel better in between classes. Brandon and Tyler, the current owners, are fabulous. They have upgraded the studio from the one hot room that it used to be adding two much larger rooms and lots of new types of classes (most of which are beyond my capabilities) including barre, flow, HIIT, sculpt, pilates, meditation, yin, and more. The community continues to grow. Us OG"s love the new energy. They offer lots of deals and even frequent opportunities to come try a free class to see what fits. I'm starting teacher training in a week. Time I give back. Trust me, I don't do it perfect, am struggling with injuries. It can still work and heal you.

As someone who gets grossed out easily, this is a huge selling point for me. I love that the workout room is carpeted and they make you wear closed-toe socks to workout in. They have lockers to leave your stuff, and there are two sinks in the locker room area to wash your hands before/after class. There's mouth wash, mints, hair ties, lotion, etc. available to use as well. The owner Kimberly is great and has gone above & beyond in making this place welcoming, accommodating, and CLEAN! The Strength classes are my favorite because they combine barre with weights for an amazing full-body workout. I love taking them with Kimberly because she pays attention to everyone and will help you with your form and/or modifications when needed. 10/10 recommend this place!
