They got the upper hand with better prices and they don't seem to be as busy. Came down from CA and needed a refill (overlay). I am a very natural girly. I admit I was a bit complicated in the beginning of the service because it was difficult for me to find a color that I liked. We tried a few and when I didn't like it they took it off. Shout out to Hannah as she was so patient with me and was willing to not stop until we found something I liked! She constantly made sure that I liked my nails as the service was going and she said if I didn't like it that she could take it off and not charge me. The end result are the pics below! On August 8th , the worker, Danny (who introduced himself by name), was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. Danny's tone was dismissive . As time went on, the technician cut my nails down, and then Danny told me I had to wait for another technician to come in--she was "5 minutes away." , but I had called ahead to confirm availability, and he lied about them being available , trying to brush me off and make it seem like I just wanted to waste time . It felt like they were just making things up to add charges in waiting time . I was disappointed, frustrated, and felt completely disregarded. This entire experience was beyond frustrating, and I would never recommend this salon to anyone again. read more

I went back as a last resort the other day as my other salon had to cancel due to an emergency so I was stuck. I was pleasantly surprised. Now it took me over 2 1/2 hrs to get my pedicure and full set done. However the wait was actually worth it. Danny did my nails and I must say they turned out perfect. I do not recommend this nail salon.. for starters, I came here, excited and happy to treat myself and that just didn't go as planned.. I felt very uncomfortable being here.. and on top of that I feel like they are very races.. I came here to get my nails done. And it seemed like they were procrastinating the whole time.. the older man with the bandanna was attending me.. but he kept leaving in assisting the other women.. Two Young white girls came in and they automatically start doing their nails. while I was waiting on the side for an hour just for them to take off gel that was previously on my nails.(which half of it was already peeling before I arrived,, so it should have not took an hour.. On top of that, they're nail tools aren't clean .. The woman finish doing somebody's feet, and she came straight to me and use the same tools. Very unsanitary.. And this is my second time with the same experience. If i could give it 0 stars i really would... to start off, i got there letting them know i was on a time crunch and still waited like 10 minutes for someone while 2 techs were sitting there on their phone watching tv. Next, my tech said my nails looked scary. Then i asked her for my powder extra thick because they come off easily for me, and she said she's only putting it thick on the bottom part because if she did the whole thing it'd be ugly. I've been here 3 times as it was close and recommended by neighbors. The last time I visited was Saturday June 22nd around 11am. I got a new set and basic spa pedicure. I experienced some slight pain as I was getting my pedicure but chalked it up to just cuticle removal. Nothing was bleeding so I wasn't alarmed. Over the next few days, I had sharp pains in my first 2 toes on my right foot but it subsided. It wasn't until about a week later that I noticed something white at the bottom of my nail polish on my 2nd right toe. It was peeking out from under the polish. I went to flick it off and it didn't do anything. I removed the nail polish to find that I had a horrible white growth on my nail! Because I had a crazy schedule due to the holiday weekend, I got around to visiting Rediclinic (paid my $25 copay) and was diagnosed with a fungal infection. This salon gave me an infection!! I was prescribed a topical solution that my insurance doesn't cover and paid $89 out of pocket. Deciding whether to confront the salon manager, I decided to check yelp and see that this has happened before and that the manager's response to any negatively has been horrible. That's the reason for this review. I do not think that approaching her will result in any satisfactory response for me, so this is being posted as well. If there is, I will update. But the public should be warned. I have messaged my neighbors and they said they recently stopped going there the last couple of weeks as well because one tech made a friend bleed and another have had several issues as of late. This place came highly recommended by a friend. I was very specific with the two packages for me and the husband. Hot stone came out with mine along with wax. For whatever reason, hot stone burns my skin. I asked if I could just use the stones for my husband and not waste. They said not a problem. We then moved to our seats for our nails to do a simple clean up for our hands without color. They then began to massage my husband's shoulders, and I inquired what they were doing. They said they upgraded his package when they took my stones from my package and gave it to him. When I clarified and repeated what was said, they then said that wasn't the case. The moment I gave him my stones, I would then be charged for both packages (my stones and his stones - although we would only use one). The crazy thing is, the package they wanted to charge us was not given to him. Both technicians walked away as the lead lady came up to say we would be charged for this. They didn't finish his service for what we originally agreed to (the basic service), they charged him for the hot stone (the most expensive service), and didn't finish his services. What amazes me the most about how this location conducts business is, if they wanted to charge for relocating my stones to him, why increase the package to the highest (hot stone package) and not just bump it to mine (deluxe package)? To say I was angry is an understatement. I had planned to bring my son back today, but I will never recommend this place to any of my friends or family - they steal your money and do not finish your services. To top it off, she called us and said the technician confessed she didn't do all of the services that came with the hot stone package; therefore, we should not have been charged for that package. She said we needed to come back for a refund. Word to the wise - don't be money hungry if you prefer repeat customers instead of one time customers. read more

The nail salon is very clean and always looks very nice the employees are very sweet and ever rush you through the service. For the most part they are good with the detail and if you see something you don't like they will fix it without acting put out about it! I've been here several times as I do not like to review on just one visit however I have only used 2 different techs I cannot remember the gentleman's name but that lady I have had is Anna and she is great! I've been searching for a nail place in Katy for the past four years, but haven't loved any place until now. I've had four different people give me a manicure (I like trying out different people, just to see) and I've loved my nails every time! I typically get a deluxe pedicure and a shellac manicure with an overlay. The overlay is always thin and natural, like I prefer. (I will say the first time I went, it was a little thick, but the tech, Anna, was so so so sweet.) They mainly have Essie colors for regular nail polish, which I'm not a huge fan of because the color formulas can be hit and miss, but there are a few OPI options on the wall too. The place is cute, clean and quiet and the service is always lovely. The price for services is equal to many other nail places. I especially like their rewards program! They even do a follow up to check on the work of their nail techs via email. I've recommended this place to 5 people and each of them has loved it as much as I have. Now they rush, become upset when you ask then to fix something, and if someone walks in when they are almost done with you, hang it up because they are on to their next customer before you are done.
