A happy little store with so many treasures inside. Half Price Books in my opinion is worth the hype. There is every book genre that you can imagine, So many well-organized shelves you can examine! When you walk to your left you see a large aisle It has records on records you could search for a while. We found a really good Frank Sinatra And even great hits on record from Abba! They have a whole upstairs as well that you can explore With book stacks of all topics you can implore. Self-help, cooking, adventure, & a darling kids nook You can even grab your little one to read them a book! Board games and stationery are also carried. Got caught up in options from all the reading I tarried! I loved it so much, I brought my husband the next day He liked the options & prices, what more could he say! The front sales clerk was in a very cheery mood, So our purchase of books was from a very cool dude. We also left with two records in hand, If a Half Price existed in Cali, it'd be in high demand!

I adore Half Price Books epically excellent as usual: got IMAX ultimate collection, amazing! Emmy award-winning Over Washington films, and some highly rated and well reviewed PC games including one with Bridge card game rules instruction and playing. Basically half price books is outstanding and superb would most certainly highly recommend! PS. Much more importantly: I encourage others to try Half Price Books and also enjoy the experience of finding epically awesome winnings and then possibly posting them here on Yelp to help celebrate how awesome the place is! -St.Rick "Line out the door" & "Car trunk takeout" hobby pro.

Sorry, it's unremarkable. But hometown grown. As we all love independent owned bookstores.

We visited Book Tree half an hour before it closed on a Saturday, so when we walked in, there was a small group of people sitting around in a small group. The owner warmly greeted us and mentioned that they had a visiting author here, but if we had any questions or needed help, to let him know. A book shop that has author readings and lectures? LOVE THIS ALREADY. Book Tree is located on Market Street, up the hill from downtown Kirkland. There was even designated street parking just for this store. The space isn't the largest, so they're not going to have everything here. But there are so many treasures to be found! They have a first edition of many books that are affordably priced. Most of the books are used here, which I prefer. But if you're looking for a new book, they have a few of that. You mostly come here, scanning through the shelves, bending down and looking through all sections because some of the books will be misplaced and it's a little untidy. But honestly, I love book stores like this because the hunt for a good book makes it al the more appealing! And you never know what you'll find. I was able to find a book that's not as common and easily found at other stores of one my favorite authors. Score! Book Tree is a must visit for any book worm in Kirkland and beyond! The owner is super friendly and welcoming of dogs and the store has a good selection of books to browse through and take home! I'm so happy to have found this charming book store in Kirkland.

They offer a variety of books (both new and used), stationary, witty birthday cards, merch, and more. I was particularly wow'd by their selection of author signed books. If my suitcase were bigger, I would have been in major trouble. I also love that they have a nearby food court, featuring the most tasty dumplings and a coffee shop serving delicious baked goods. Literally, my fantasies brought to life. This biz screams community, and I'm about ready to pack my bags to join it.

It's what every neighborhood needs, really. Ridgecrest Books is located in the Ridgecrest neighborhood of Shoreline, which isn't huge, but has just what this cozy area needs. Among other businesses, Ridgecrest Books is one of the few businesses on a central street with plenty of street parking. My friends and I visited during the Seattle Independent Bookstore Day, so it was pretty busy in the small bookstore, but was still a welcoming experience. They even had discounted books on racks outside the store, in addition to the collection inside. They don't have the largest book collection here, but it's curated well. I also love that this bookstore is dog friendly! Anytime I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by and check out what's new at this wonderful, neighborhood bookstore.
