A week later, I called back and whoever answered said 'I guess they don't want to do it'. I understand a lot of things are going on right now, but I feel that things could have been handled more professionally, maybe an e-mail declining our business when we first reached out. I'm giving them 3 stars because my company worked with them in the past and we love their work (that's why I went there first), I just wish I experienced the friendliness of the staff that I'm reading about in the other reviews, or maybe more professionalism. Obviously we're going to go with a different company now, but hopefully we can give Print Shack another try in the future, and have a more positive experience.

This business has been around for a really long time, so I knew I wanted to come to the pros first to make sure everything was done correctly. When you first walk in, the lobby is not too big and the lady (Peggy) that helped us was very friendly and went over their services and talked about the turnaround time. I honestly was expecting for a little bit of a wait time, but everything was done in a week or less. The rubber stamp I ordered was literally done in days and the business card was less than a week and all this was going on during Christmas time, so that was impressive. Peggy kept in contact, emailed me the proof and went over the pricing details. The business cards were pricier than I expected, but they came out really good and I would definitely come back. I like how the cards doesn't look generic and it doesn't look like it was just printed straight off of a computer. It has that gloss on the cards to make it look professionally done. What I liked about the rubber stamp was that the ink will last a long time and if it starts to fade away, then she said she would re-ink the rubber stamp for free. I know this company serves so many different businesses in Kern County and you would think they would be super busy and they would take longer on their projects, but it was quick, she was very clear and detailed, she was extremely professional, and it's located downtown where parking wasn't an issue.

He got back to me quickly which was nice and we talked about the small job I needed done on our business window. When he sent me the proof there were multiple misspelled words which I thought was crazy, unprofessional, and frankly the opposite of what you hire a sign guy for. If I could give this place a -5 I would. Max is the biggest liar I have ever met in my entire life…read more I work for a good size construction company that does a lot of promotional stuff. I used them at my last company and we ended up switching because he couldn't get it right. Years have passed, and I decided to give them another shot. I ordered 19 dozen hats and 17 were incorrect. Looks like the jokes on me. At first he tried to blame it on me, but in the end he at least owned up to his mistake. The remedy was to credit me on each of the hats that were wrong or redo the stitching. Redo the stitching? Come in. Because we had such a large credit, I decided to order a couple more items from them and he told me with confidence, they could be done (stickers). These items were ordered over 2 1/2 months ago, and I still have not received the total amount. I've been by there numerous times with him telling me they will be done in a day or two and that they would give me a call. I've let weeks go by and popped in to have him lie over and over to my face. I've gotten to the point where I don't even want to talk to this guy, and I feel like he gets my drift so he's taking it upon himself to drop stuff off at my office and start lying to the ladies that are in there. It is unbelievable that anybody that owns a business would let somebody like this work for them for this many years. I can't imagine that I'm the only persons order that he screws up. Maybe he's good at coloring shirts but he needs to stay AWAY from customers. It's unfortunate because the work is good but the BAD C S trumps anything they can do right. I guess when its someone's side business they really don't care. There's something to be said when the owners friends won't even use them because of Max.
