Hollywood sign on the Terror Tram scare zone
    Doug B.

We skipped Universal Halloween Horror Nights last year, and decided to return this year. We went on the Wednesday night before Halloween, and surprisingly this night was priced lower than all other nights during that week. The park didn't get really crowded until after 9pm. It is expensive, but I would highly recommend purchasing the express pass, otherwise a large part of your evening will be spent standing in lines. The express lines actually seemed shorter than usual this year. We went through all of the mazes twice and a few of them three times. Rides and the Terror Tram were also a very short wait, and you also get priority seating for shows. The early entry pass is also a good deal for only $15 to get a jump on the masses. All of the maze builds, décor, music and sound effects, smells, scare actors with great makeup and not just masks, great costumes, etc were all way better than other similar events. You expect a lot from a movie studio, and they definitely delivered in my opinion. Mazes we loved: Terrifier - Art the Clown sure is a creepy character, and all the Arts in the maze mimicked his mannerisms perfectly. There were a lot of great jump scares, and you definitely get wet going through this maze. The maze had scenes from all three movies, and it seemed like a longer maze. The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks - We weren't familiar with the background of this maze, but my girlfriend probably screamed more in this maze than any of the others. Jason Universe - Great scenes from many of the Halloween movies. Second most screams from my girlfriend. Scarecrow - Lots of jump scares from monsters that didn't look like live actors, some very dark areas, it seemed like a longer maze. Monstrous 3: The Ghosts of Latin America - Jump scares from several monsters that didn't look like live actors, and good number of jump scares overall, I got a good blast of unexpected water. Those big tooth monsters are creepy! Mazes that were good, but not great: Poltergeist - We went through this maze early, and maybe it wasn't fully staffed yet, but there were very few scare actors. It seemed like more of a "check out the cool Poltergeist set" walk-thru. The second time through, towards the end where all the open caskets are popping out of the ground, they were all filled with live actors and got us a bunch of times. Five Nights at Freddy's - Obviously you expect a lot of animatronics based on the movie, and that was the case. Many of the non-animal scare actors were plain clothes or minimal make up and costume, and it just took down the overall scare factor a lot. There was a great pizza aroma when walking through the kitchen early on. Good maze and represents the movie well, but not great for scares. Fallout - I never saw the movie, so maybe I would have liked it better if I did. It had lots of plain character non-monster jump scares at the beginning, and it seemed like a pretty short maze. This year, the Terror Tram drops you off for a walk-thru of a scare zone titled "Enter the Blumhouse". It has scare actors dressed up as characters from movies such as M3gan, The Purge, The Black Phone, and a few others. This scare zone was good, as were all of the other scare zones in the park. I admire the stamina of some of those scare actors walking around on stilts all night. We also saw a show, The Purge: Dangerous Waters. The show was very entertaining and included pyrotechnics, fire, lasers, stunts, and a little blood and guts. We did get a few cocktails during the night from Isla Nu-Bar on the lower lot and Chucky's Dive Bar on the upper lot. I commend Universal for having bartenders make drinks to order instead of using gross pre-mixed drinks that some other parks use. The drinks were good, and prices were not inflated for an event like this which would have been easy for them to do. We had a great time, and will look forward to returning next year.

Wow second year with my son and it was great. We got to do every single maze but no rides. ( we didn't have time) But it was great in our opinion.... Be ready to wait up 2 hrs for Terrifier. If you're able to get a fast pass, I would highly recommend it or try to get in earlier. I'm not sure how much that is. I hear on social media that it helps.. We had fun can't wait for next year!

As a first timer, I really thought I would be more impressed with Horror Nights than I was. Like it was cool, but compared to Knott's Scary Farm it was very mid. I thought the park itself would be decorated more and found the mazes to be kind of lackluster. Universal is also missing out on a huge opportunity not doing a Harry Potter maze. The lines for the mazes were absolutely insane. We were able to make it through only 4 of the 8 mazes :( I wills say the Hello Kitty Chucky collab is super cool though! We got the light up popcorn bucket and tried the themed ice cream which was delicious. We also bought a couple of the collab items from the gift shop. The Art the clown actors all did a wonderful job and it was fun seeing them scare people throughout the park. We also tried Chucky's dive bar. I liked my drink but they need bigger straws to suck the popping boba up. Overall I had fun, but after trying it out, I wouldn't necessarily spend money on it in the future.

The best part about Horror Nights, are the rando monsters in the streets.

2025 WASN'T GREAT for Universal Horror Nights. Guests were CATTLE... constantly herded in, by employees who were told to continuously wave their flashlights at breakneck speed, never pausing to say, "That's enough guests inside that haunted house for now." Nope! It was hard to be scared, b/c there were traffic jams inside the way-too-packed-with-customers haunted house. The scariest thing was the fire hazard of it all. The costumed actors, while wearing top notch makeup and costumes, were awkwardly waiting for a new batch to come thru. Or painfully aware that the person en route, had already seen them hiding, b/c of the never-ending line of cattle. Another dreadful moment was signs saying "THIS WAY TO HAUNTED HOUSE", followed by a 15 minute walk, uphill, to actually get there. My friend, with a bad back, was out of commission for a while after that literal hike through the hills of Studio City. This year, there were also multiple haunted houses, that were neat homages to films and tv shows, but were a legit 0.5 / 10 on the fear factor list. The Poltergeist one, and FALLOUT houses, to be exact. Fall-Out is a fun Amazon Prime show, but NOT scary. And the Haunted House was ALL OUT OF IDEAS on how to make it scary. The Poltergeist house was very cool, with some neat remakes of infamous moments in the film. But absolutely nothing to be startled by. I didn't appreciate feeling like cattle, in a fire hazard maze, so this will likely be the last time I ever make it out to Universal Studios.

Recently attended Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights and had a great time! We have been attending over the years and will certainly be back! Universal does an outstanding job with the mazes that are amazing including Terrifier, Jason, Five nights at Freddie's and other incredibly designed mazes.

This is our fourth year in a row going. Me and my kids always have a fun time! I've done regular admission once. But I've been doing the EXPRESS pass every year and it's so worth of money. We did all 8 haunted houses The terror tram and a few rides before midnight. Lots of walking. The food is pricey, and so are the drinks, but it's worth it for a fun night! Terrifier was my favorite but so was Jason. Can't wait to go back next year!

HHN was worth the money in 2025. Not quite as good as 2024 however so I took one star off for not being as unique as in prior years. I purchased the Express Pass. I got through all the mazes and there was virtually no waits. The mazes This years were : *TERRIFIER * JASON Universe *FALLOUT * POLTERGEIST *SCARECROWS * MONSTROUS 3 *FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S *WWE HORRORS OF THE WYATT SICKS Fallout was really for fans and more of a walk thru. I'm a fan so I loved it. Could've offered more merch. Scarecrows was pretty cool but again, walk thru. Slash always does pretty good music for these types of mazes. Jason was more of a haunted house maze. On par for scare factor and Halloween time. Poltergeist was half of a haunted house , half walk thru. Wyatt Sicks was pretty cool for a walk thru haunted house. I liked the music , colors were really on point. Oddly enough I would say this was my favorite. Five nights at Freddy's, fun for fans but no intense scare factor. Monstrous 3 was a haunted house , but better last year. Lastly, TERRIFIER. The hype to scare the crap out of you piqued everyone's vulnerabilities and curiosity about the movies, character, and how this haunted house would play out. I was scared of course and this house was pure gore. I would say it was a good maze for Halloween Horror Nights. The food offerings were great. All fallout food was good. Freddy's food was good. Pizza was good for sure. Mario land was insanely empty and I was able to buy my power band and play all the interactive games. The ride was fun too. The head seat was so clunky though. Overall I recommend doing this event once or twice every few years for spooky season.

Super fun night with friends. I was surprised how busy it was on a Sunday night. Our group had VIP (express) passes so it wasn't too long. I would suggest good walking shoes and Advil because there are a lot of hills and you'll be walking A LOT! Can't wait until next year! :)

Another successful HHN for the books! I was excited for the new mazes this year especially the Terrifier, Five Nights at Freddy's, and Fallout. I got the early entry after 2pm pass with express. This year was more crowded than usual but thankfully we were able to finish every maze. This pass also offers early access to 4 out of the 8 mazes. They opened the mazes for us at 5:30pm instead of 7pm. Terrifier had the longest line but even then we only waited about 30 minutes. Most of the mazes we were able to walk straight in without waiting very long.

I have to say this year's experience is awesome!! Everything went smoothly, no chaos. My hubby and I enjoyed the experience and 95% of the wait times were accurate. Seriously I love how Universal Studios Hollywood takes care of their AP Platinum holders. Even though now, we have to pay for early access, not like the good olé days. But the fact we can still attend, makes me happy that Universal Studios Hollywood is even allowing this...not like ahem...certain theme park that makes their AP pay. This year, all the scare actors behaved...no touching. It was all great! Oh! I also love how they have photos ops here too! With Megan and elsewhere with Norman Bates, by the motel. Our favorite mazes are Terrifier, Five Nights at Freddy's, Fallout and WWE.

Halloween Horror Nights has always been a white whale for us for horror events. We've always wanted to go but never got the chance due to time or pricing. This year, my wife and I bit the bullet and decided to go for it with some friends who had already attended previous years. Pricing breakdown: (1) General Admission - $77 per person for entry at 7PM. Does not include early access and does not include access to Super Nintendo World. (2) After 2PM Day/Night - $117 per person for entry to the park at 2PM. Includes early access to select haunted houses at 5:30PM and includes access to Super Nintendo World from 7PM-10PM. (3) After 2PM Day/Night Express - $319 per person for entry to the park at 2PM. Includes everything with the regular After 2PM Day/Night ticket plus one time express access to each haunted house, ride, and attraction. (4) Express - $259 per person for entry at 7PM. Does not include early access. Includes one time express access to each haunted house, ride, and attraction. Includes access to Super Nintendo World from 7PM-10PM. (5) Express Unlimited - $309 per person for entry at 7PM. Same as Express but unlimited express access to everything. (6) R.I.P. Tour - $470 per person for entry at 7PM. Does not include early access. Includes a walking tour guide for the entire event, reserved VIP seating at live shows, exclusive backlot Halloween experience with VIP trolley, gourmet dinner in private VIP dining room, special photo-ops, complimentary valet parking for one car, Express Unlimited access to everything, and access to Super Nintendo World from 7PM-10PM. We opted for the regular After 2PM Day/Night tickets. After entering the park at 2PM, we got something to eat and rode the Simpsons ride. At 4:30PM we walked to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and waiting in line for the Terrifier haunted house. Already a large group of people waiting as this seems to be the most popular haunted house this year. The line moved early and we walked all the way down to wait in front of the house. It opened at 5PM instead of 5:30PM so we got to breeze right through! Afterwards, we hit the Poltergeist house since it's right next to Terrifier. We waited in line for like 5 minutes then entered the house. By 5:30PM we had already did 2 houses - quite a feat from what we've been told! We walked to Jurassic World and got in line for the Jason Universe house, where the wait was short and sweet. We stayed in Jurassic World and got in line for The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks house. This one had a bit of a wait since it wasn't open yet, but once it was we strolled right through. We hit up Super Nintendo World and rode the Mario Kart ride. As we were leaving the Lower Lot, we saw that the line for the Jason Universe house was jam-packed! Back to the Upper Lot, we met up with some other friends in Minion Land to wait in line for the Monstruous 3: The Ghosts of Latin America house. This was probably the longest line we waited in. We rode the Terror Tram, expecting a nice relaxing time to take a load off our boots - nope! You ride the tram to the backlot then you're on your feet again, walking through various horror sections like The Black Phone and The Purge. There's a couple of photo-ops in front of the Hollywood sign with M3GAN and the Psycho house with Norman Bates if you want to stop and wait in line. Afterwards, the tram picks you up and drops you off back uphill. Back to Minion Land, we hit up the Fallout house right next to Monstruous 3. We caught the 11:15PM showing of The Purge: Dangerous Waters at Waterworld. After buying donuts and merch, we finally called it a day not long after midnight. We loved our experience and would love to come back next year! Universal's HHN has a reputation for one of the best Halloween events for good reason. Since it's a movie studio, they really do go all out for everything (they spare no expense!). All the haunted houses had great animatronics and effects, not to mention the scare actors earn their paychecks! Your experience will depend on how much you're willing to spend. Tickets costs more on Fridays and Saturdays. Have a game plan before you go for what you want to do. I think the After 2PM Day/Night tickets have the best value as you get to enjoy the park during the day and start lining up early if there's a particular house you wanted to do. We were able to do 6/8 houses, the tram, enjoy 2 rides and a show without paying extra for Express. There's an app you can download to see wait times for the haunted houses and attractions, but they also have signs throughout the park with the same information that are regularly updated. We saw the Terrifier and Five Nights at Freddy's line queues reach 2 hours! Talk about a scary time! Wear comfortable shoes because you're going to be on your feet the majority of the time!

I don't like being scared yet they did an amazing job at props, houses, and workers throughout. The chainsaws were a nice touch and the stilt walkers. I think it was organized and well staffed.

    R. I. P. Dinner (buffet style)
    Jasmin S.

    R. I. P. Is the way to go to Halloween Horror Nights. Saved us over 10 hours waiting in line. We got to visit all of the houses and mazes. Plus, we were able to ride the mummy, Mario ride, and transformers (with express access with our R. I. P. Access). I love the R. I. P. dinner experience with a ton of food and bar. We also had private access to another break room for drinks for R. I. P. Guests Only. A night full of entertainment and excitement. I did get some loaded Tostitos with birria in the Mexican heritage area where again I was able to go to the R. I. P. Line for quick ordering. I 100% recommend folks going R. I. P. Style to HHN. I've been doing it now for 10 years. Best experience ever!

Halloween Horror Nights Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Halloween Horror Nights

The shows are included in park admission right?

Yes - The Purge & Blumehouse are included

Are the monsters allowed to touch you?

No. I think it's in the terms, too. You're good.

I know that Costumes are not allowed, but not sure if they will allow me to wear leggings, T-shirt and head bands that have Halloween designs. Does anybody know?

Yes, all of those are allowed. Everyone has on Halloween clothing. In fact, I wore a headband that had fake scissors on it. Everyone loved it, so your headband can be kind of "out there" and it's totally fine. Enjoy!!!

What are the best hotels to stay at during HHN? Do any of them offer packages? Hilton? Sheraton? I'm not finding any information on this. Knotts Scary Farm offers some really good packages for their haunt but we really wanna do HHN this year.

We always stay at Hilton and buy express pass to HHN, no packages but it's a great location. If you book a refundable rate at Hilton you can watch prices and rebook if/when they drop.

Can I still buy a ticket at the door for a date that is sold out?

Unfortunately, no. You can NOT purchase a ticket the day of for sold out days. Highly suggest you purchase tickets in advance online as it INCLUDES EARLY ACCESS! This means you can get into the park at 5:30 PM instead of 7 PM!

What time do they stop selling alcohol?

    When ever they close

How much does it cost to upgrade to express at the gate if you already have a general admission ticket?

It depends on the night you go because the price varies. I went the first weekend it opened and express was $57. I think you can call and ask how much it is to add.

How many mins or hrs per maze just curious?

Are you asking the wait time or how long it takes to go through each maze? Wait times vary. The easiest way to see that is to download the Universal app. The duration of each maze is less then 10 minutes each.

Do they serve beer and wine at holloween Horror Nights Hollywood?

They have beer and cocktails but certain areas are off limits for drinking alcohol. You can have drinks in some mazes but not others, It's a weird set up

Should I still get an express pass for a Thursday?

Yes, absolutely. Without an Express pass, it's nearly impossible to get to all the rides and mazes in a single night. The wait times for mazes (and some rides) are over an hour.

How many people do they allow in each attraction/maze at ONE time? (For example, a line of 10-12 people.)

Hi! Well, this year was more packed than usual, probably because of Stranger Things. With that being said, they are letting at least 10 or 15 people in at one time and not even waiting a full 2 minutes before they allow yet ANOTHER large group in.… Read more

For the RIP TOUR this year, how long Private VIP trolley to Backlot mazes and Terror Tram ride? Are we going to see the entire back lot of universal or will of drop us off and have us walk back? Does the RIP lounge sale alcohol?

Hi Vicky! For specifics on the RIP Tour, we recommend connecting with an RIP specialist at 818-622-5120. We look forward to scaring you soon.

How is the terror tram? Is it really scary and worth the long wait?

If you're not easily scared, the wait might not seem worth it. For me, being able to walk through… Read more

Can I bring my little sister without my parent and I'm 19?

Hello Albert. While minors may attend at their parents' personal discretion, we do not recommend that any Guest under 13 visit us for Halloween Horror Nights. The event contains mature themes and elements that may not be suitable for young Guests.

How much are day-of front of the line upgrades?

If you've already purchased your ticket you'd have to call or send a DM on Facebook or other social media to see if they're still available as they do offer upgrades once you get into the park. If you haven't purchased tickets yet, get it online.… Read more

    How scary is it?

The costumes and make up on the scare actors was very realistic, but I didn't find it all that scary, neither did my wife. The scariest thing about HHN is the prices!!!!

It is the perfect intro to haunted houses for someone like myself who is a scaredy cat - it was light on gore and very brief which made it manageable to walk through. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quite fast. The haunted house is built on their front yard (amazing), so you will get through it quite quickly. It is free, which is incredible for the amount of work that goes into it. However! There is a box where you can leave donations, and all proceeds go to Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter. Everyone who was working the haunt was so friendly, with fantastic themed costumes to boot. Absolutely wonderful vibes all around! They deserve no tricks and ALL the treats!

The line moved quickly even though they had security checking bodies and bags for things not permitted. FYI, water bottles are not allowed. There were three mazes. Two of them were decent, but I found the Elvira one to be boring. I also paid additional money to shoot at zombies. The one minute they give you to shoot is not worth the amount of money you pay . We also had funnel cake which was way over cooked.

First thing's first - it goes without saying, but you're gonna pay a pretty penny for everything…read more Here's the damage for tickets: (1) For the Hayride only, it's $54 per person ($47 + $7 fees). (2) For General Admission (Hayride & entry to each maze), it's $59 per person ($47 + $12 fees). (3) For the VIP Fast Pass (General Admission for a 1/3 of the wait time), it's $73 per person ($47 + $26 fees). (4) For Platinum Skip The Line (literally walk right up to the front of the Hayride & each maze), it's $135 per person ($47 + $88 fees). Whatever entry ticket you choose, they're going to add $3 if you choose to ride the Hayride between 7PM-11PM (event closes at midnight on the weekends, earlier on weekdays). Each guest is required to sign a waiver before entry. Add-ons include: (1) Midnight Falls Axe Throwing - $7 for 5 axe throws. (2) Zombie Splat GellyBall Experience - $10 for firing at live actor zombies with a water balloon gun ala paintball. (3) Scary-Go-Round - $5 to ride the merry go round. (4) Mini Escape Rooms - $8 to play a mini escape room. (5) Madame Aurora Seance Theater - $10 to watch a seance. (6) Combo Pack - $25 for entry to the Seance Theater, Zombie Splat, Scary-Go-Round, and Midnight Falls Axe Throwing. (7) S'Mores Package - $8 to make your own smores by fire. (8) Digital Photo Album Access - $5 to access any photos taken at the event. Parking options: (1) Gold Parking - $60 for the closest and most convenient parking near the Hayride. (2) Premium Parking - $25 for parking at the Merry-Go-Round lot. (3) Free parking - park at the L.A. Zoo and a free shuttle will take you to & from the event. My wife and I scored free General Admission tickets from Long Beach's Midsummer Scream so that was a breeze. Since we're not psychotic, we opted for the free parking at the zoo. Plenty of bus shuttles coming/going with lots of room to cram everyone for the short ride to the event. After arrival, you have to walk downhill through the dirt to get to the entrance. Fyi - the whole place is dirt, so wear closed shoes (preferably not your favorite) and be prepared to thoroughly clean them the next morning. We hit the Hayride first and walked right through the back to wait in line for 5 minutes. Scare actors interact with everyone waiting to get your blood pumping. Don't know how long the actual Hayride was, but it was pretty lengthy with lots of different sections/scenes to see. Honestly not too shabby! Only complaint is that you're seated at the sides of the wagon, so you're going to be awkwardly turned the entire time. Doesn't matter which side you're on as the scares are on both (even above!). There are 3 mazes and we went through them all. Monae Manor had a big line to get in but it was like 20 minutes so not too bad. It was by far the best one out of the trio. Hillbilly Halloween was the furthest from the others and had the shortest line. It was also a pretty fast walkthrough - meh. Elvira's Trick or Treat Mayhem had the longest line but moved along at a decent pace. It was ok, but there was a weird part where you walk through like a heavy tarp and scare actors are pushing on both sides to get you disoriented like you're being swallowed. If you're claustrophobic, you might want to skip this one. We had our fill with good eats - lots of options to choose from. Had a slice of supreme pizza from The Wicked Oven ($12). Wifey got a burger, fries and drink from Carnivore Kitchen ($23). We shared an apple cider topped with a cider donut from the Midnight Falls Cider Mill ($15). We shared a Sonoran Hot Dog from Nightmare in Nogales ($19). We grabbed a sleeve of Ghoul Scout Cookies from Fresh Baked Cookies ($11) for the ride home. The apple cider and cookies were the best from what we tried. Though expensive, we had a blast at the 2025 L.A. Haunted Hayride and wouldn't mind coming back next year. Lots of photo ops all over the place, lots of scare actors throughout (some with chainsaws), and a ridiculous amount of strobe lights & fog machines. The event is what you make of it and how much you're willing to spend. Paying for parking is insane and the VIP/Platinum passes aren't worth it as you'll still have to wait in line no matter what (just a little shorter). It probably won't be worth going too late as you won't get to do everything - we went at 7PM when they opened, did everything (except the add-ons) and were back at the car by 11:30PM. If you're prone to seizures, sadly this isn't for you. Website says it might be too intense for kids 12 and under, but there were plenty of little boils and ghouls running around so who knows. It's a dry event so absolutely no alcohol or smoking. No restrooms, just porta potties that have no lights inside so expect a dark sticky time. Take a shower when you get home and thoroughly blow your nose because you'll be dusty all up in there. Prices and experience may vary.

I would absolutely not recommend coming to this pop-up (which closes this coming weekend) because I was cheated by and yelled at by the security guards for over two hours. Here are the highlights: 1) The security guards repeatedly let groups of people cut, so that I was always at the back of the line. My boyfriend and I waited over two-and-a-half hours outside on Hollywood Boulevard, and on three occasions, the security guards ordered the people toward the back of the line to "keep walking backward." Each time we were forced to walk backward, the line was shuffled, and people were allowed to cut, making it impossible to advance in line. I eventually was admitted into the event as one of the last five people before they closed for the night. 2) The guards treated us like prisoners, repeatedly yelling, "Get your backs up against the wall!" They kept shouting this even though we already were standing against the wall, and no one in line was causing problems. It was extremely insulting and humiliating. 3) The guards let in the standby line before the priority access line, and then lied to me about it. People who have purchased IMAX movie tickets to IT 2 are supposed to have priority access, per the event website. The guards also told us this, so we bought tickets and got into the IMAX line. But the guards ended up letting in the non-ticket holders AN HOUR BEFORE US. When I asked Caleb, the Toomer Security manager, about this, he didn't have an explanation and then a very terse guard jumped in and told me (lied to me) that the non-ticket holders were going to a holding area and not inside; he assured me since we had IMAX tickets we would still go in before them. I knew this was a lie because I then saw the non-ticket holders inside the venue, as I could see through the gaps of the exterior wall. 4) Once we got to the entrance we were then rushed to sign a 2-page legal waiver in tiny print. Also, no one checked our IDs or our IMAX tickets, even though Security kept telling us over and over we needed proof of being over age 17 and that we had paid for movie tickets. Why didn't they give us the waivers while we were waiting so long in line? When we finally made it inside the pop-up, it was fun (though not the 40-minute experience advertised; it was more like 20 minutes), but not worth the experience of a completely unfair line. I'm so angered by how Toomer Security treated my boyfriend and me at this pop-up, that I am canceling and refunding my IMAX tickets because I don't want to support anything that has something to do with the IT 2 pop-up experience.

Toomer, the security company hired for this event, ruins this experience…read more Harassment, yelling, lying, apathy and disregard for decency-and you get to deal with it for more than 2 hours as you wait in line. Expect constant anxiety as you have to deal with these people yelling at you nearly every minute for those 2+ hours. Caleb, the manager, obviously did not have a handle on his crew nor have any idea how to manage or plan for the event or handle the people attending. His team spent the night yelling at the crowd, barking orders for them to, "GET UP AGAINST THE WALL" in the way you'd hear a cop yell at a criminal he's been chasing down. You heard this yelled at you non-stop for over 2 hours, even if you were already up against the wall. We were also constantly told to turn around and walk another 300 feet down the block. But this was done all through yelling, without any sort of guidance or order. The result was each time we had to shuffle the line down the block, groups of people thought they would take this opportunity to cut in line. The guards didn't care about this at all, and only cared that you were against the wall. When it was pointed out that 2 people joined the end of the line after it had already been closed, Caleb put the responsibility of kicking them out on his guard, rather than being a leader and taking the responsibility. We watched him go back and forth with the guard, not taking any action, even when the guard obviously didn't want to deal with the stress of something a manager should handle. We were also blatantly lied to. We were originally in a 100+ person line. Caleb told me that if we had IMAX tickets, we would get in early, and the IMAX holder line only had 20 people. Instead the security team began with the 100 person line, and then had the preferred line for IMAX holders go after them. I brough this up to Caleb only to have one of his guards cut me off, obviously trying to win brownie points with the boss. The guard lied to me, saying, "those people who went in aren't going to go in before you, they're just going to another line to wait". I could look through the fence and see them getting to play the games. Just lying to try to get people to shut up and obey. It was another hour after they got to go in before we even got to the gates. Eventually, when we got to the gates to enter, we were individually handed waivers to sign. This was a huge bottle neck in time. Why not just have people sign the waiver while they're already in line? You make us wait long enough as it is. Even though I bought my IMAX tickets, they didn't even check that. So anybody could have gone in, even though the security made such a big deal over it. They also never checked our ID, even though we also heard them make a big deal about being over 17 or having a guardian over 30. The team also had no idea anything about the event. People who came after the lines were closed were told by the guard, "you can't come in, this is it. You'll have to come back next year". Next year? Really? This attraction was open for at least another week at that point. This attraction desperately needed a marketing team. The real nightmare was in how the customers and potential movie goers were treated. Because of the horrible way the security team behaved towards me and the other people, I actually wound up cancelling my IMAX tickets and have a general apathy towards the IT franchise. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. And in the future, if I see any event with Toomer, I'm just going to leave for something better.

During Halloween Horror Nights, the tram converts into the Terror Tram where they drive you a short distance and then stop and tell you to get off and walk the rest of the way back to the park. Sounds kind of sketchy, right? It's actually the opposite - you get to walk past some of the movie sets like the War of the Worlds airplane crash or the Bates Motel which you can only see from a distance while in your tram seat during the day, but it is transformed into a walkthrough maze during HHN. The theme for the Terror Tram the past couple of years is Blumhouse - to horror fans like myself, that is definitely a household name. Blumhouse has produced some of the most iconic horror movies and characters over the last 15 years - like M3gan, The Purge, Insidious, Five Nights at Freddy's and even some of the more recent Halloween installments to only name a few. I love their movies! The Terror Tram was definitely my favorite experience this year where you got to come face to face with some of the popular characters from the movies I mentioned above! They even offered a photo op with M3gan herself, Norman Bates in front of his house and one with a bloody Hollywood sign in the back! If you get a chance to check out Halloween Horror Nights, you have to check out this attraction - you will not be disappointed!

I like this one so much, because it is way more immersive than the mazes. The mazes you walk through the designated path and that's it. The terror tram is different because you are walking out in the open. The monsters can jump out at you in the open. To me, that is way more fun and exciting. Usually, the monsters will have chain saws and chase you around lol It's a blast! Just a tip; don't run when they chase you- they will only chase you more lol
