After booking, the HALO team sent a very detailed email with advice on how to prepare for the session, instructions on where to enter, and important policies to follow. This helped with navigating nearby parking and entrance since the main building is not marked with the company's information nor is there a number to call to notify of your arrival. The session was very quick and the man who led the session was very thorough in briefing what aura is and how energy operates between two people since we did the buddy reading. I have been wanting to get my aura photographed for some time now and I am so glad I came here. The space is gorgeous and very welcoming, you can tell a lot of thought and intention went into it. I felt so comfortable the moment I stepped inside. Michael is who took my photo and explained everything to me. He was very helpful and insightful during the entire process and reading. Not only does he go over everything about your photo with you, but you get a cheat sheet to look back on too. I have been eyeing doing an aura reading and it was perfect timing for a reading, as we were in the area. Parking can be kind of tough if it's crowded or a busy weekend. They do provide you with clear instructions on how to access the store front through email. The reading was a quick 10 minutes and so insightful. For me, I'm transitioning into a new opportunity where I will be able to have more creativity. I'll admit I don't know know the first thing about aura photography. I've seen it before but never really looked into it. It crossed my path again recently, and I thought it looked super cool and fun. Seeing that appointments were done in 20minute intervals was even more enticing, it was quick and easy I told myself- wouldn't suck up a bunch of my day to experience it which a woman with my attention span can appreciate. I'm not real knowledgeable about any of this stuff. I'm more one of those, drink a ton of water to stay hydrated and vibrate at a high frequency, do unto others as you wish to be done, be a good girl, pay it forward, be grateful, exercise, get outside and get some sun, try to keep some balance, type chick. If you asked me to name chakras, how many, where they are, what color they are etc I would fail miserably. I'm a lover of love, peace, calm and that sort of thing but the buck stops there. I light my palo santo, purchase crystals I think look cool, forget what the said properties are before I've even left a shop and so on, but my intentions are typically good. With that being said, I came into this appointment totally excited and eager for the experience. I'd told myself I hope my aura was yellow. I wanted to shine like a sunbeam! Having no clue at all what yellow even meant but it seemed like a happy bright color that I'd hoped to exemplify and it's my favorite color! I followed all of the very detailed instructions on my confirmation email and found myself waiting in front of the correct sign, at the correct door, without doing any of the things the email said not to do (call, text, dm, enter building after someone etc). Michael greeted us, my friend came along but was not interested in being in my photo (although two people can be, so I'd love to do this with my Mom or sister). My friend waited in the front area while I went back to the studio room. I sat my purse down, was instructed to remove any rings (had one on so slipped it off) and in we went. Sat on a little stool, placed my palms on two small metal plates which sat on my lap, contemplated fixing my hair and necklaces but didn't want to fidget around so skipped and it was over in a snap! I went out of the room and sat in the studio waiting area as the photo developed then Michael came out and chatted with me about it. I loved the picture! Not of myself really but of the color I saw, a TON of yellow like a big burst of bright sun all above me, a bit of orange, some red to my right and green to my left. It was magical I thought. Michael mentioned the red, orange and yellow being physical and the green emotional. I later asked if colors weren't present that represented things other than physical and emotional and was told yes, there are spiritual and mental colors not shown on my photo. All my colors were in balance and our little chat seemed to make enough sense. I can't recall any of it verbatim really, but if this were equivalent to a doctors visit I'd say I checked out just fine. I asked a few questions, like... can this aura color change from time to time, are many peoples the same in a days session or very different and I was satisfied with all of the answers and explanations. I'm extremely curious by nature (me saying this, not something from the aura sesh ;) and I'll say going into anything like this, being fun, happy and open minded is the best approach. Me booking a photo every week in an effort to capture consistency or change is not the sort of thing I really feel you'd benefit from in this arena. I'd love to do this again and I'm sure I will but for now it was an interesting little Sunday (new moon mind you) activity to check out. On the days following, I find myself continuing to look at my picture. I really do like it. The color chart is also helpful, but Michaels chat was nice too. I think this would be a really fun offering for a small event, something to do solo or with friends, fam or your partner. I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it if you're open and into something like this. We parked in the private lot and had no issue. read more

Did another one last week, and it was wonderful. Know that this isn't a mood ring reading. Your aura is part of you, yet independent of external events. Not sure why one guy is so upset that his aura looks similar to others, but you probably shouldn't do this if you believe you're being swindled. Buyer Beware: We found this business as a recommendation from a friend who said this was something we might want to check out since it is unique and they always sell out. Like anything else that isn't fully proven true, we went into it with some skepticism, but hoped for the best. The whole process was very pleasant, owners were nice and took about 5 minutes for the photo and reading. What we found out post-photo was questionable and wrote the following e-mail to the company: Hi Halo Auragraphic, I used your service yesterday and am still skeptical about the process, in comparing my photo to the images in your Instagram account today, I have found multiple images with the same exact "aura" color formation as mine. If the aura project is legitimate, shouldn't there be uniqueness to each person's photo? Please find all the images attached that are identical including mine. I am requesting an explanation of this or a redo that will prove this aura imaging is what it is portrayed to be. If not, I would like a full refund for an underwhelming experience/discovery of aura photographs. (end email) After 3 follow up emails from me and my wife and a comment to address the email on their instagram account, we found that we were both blocked from their instagram account and email left unanswered.If this is a legitimate business, their customer service sure doesn't act like one. My massage therapist told me about this place last year, and I had been dying to go! The sessions always sell out extremely fast, so I was elated when my friend and I snagged two spots for this past Sunday. I was fortunate enough to find street parking around the corner and then met my friend at the entrance to the building. We arrived about 20 minutes early, buzzed in, and Sharon greeted us once we were inside the building. I had just come from a hike and wanted to change clothes, and Sharon gave me a bathroom key. In retrospect, I should have have re-scheduled my hike, since it would have been nice to arrive fresh and clean! The little waiting area has a calm, hip vibe, with a couch, a couple chairs, and a few books on stars, horoscopes, and astrology on the coffee table. You must turn your phone onto airplane mode, to eliminate distractions and be in the present moment, and are welcome to jot down any quotes or book titles that speak to you, using the cute succulent pen and sticky notes on the table. After a few minutes, a customer returned to the waiting area with her photo, and then after Sharon explained to her how to care for it, she had me follow her to another waiting area, where Michael would soon greet me for my session. I sat on the couch and picked up "Salt" by Nayyirah Waheed, which was amongst a few books on the table. I loved reading it and was immediately transported to a lovely, poetic, peaceful place! Once my friend's session ended and she walked out of the camera room with her photo, it was my turn. Michael was very kind, briefly explained the simple process to me, and I placed my hands on a metal thing. The photo-taking process took about 10 seconds, and then my photo was ready. I was in awe of the beautiful colors that appeared and even more fascinated to learn that my aura description was spot-on to what I already knew about myself. It was really cool to have a visual of my energies' colors and to see what auras I happened to have on that day, as I learned that oftentimes your aura colors change, depending on your life circumstances. Suggestions to make their business even better: maybe have a few teas or waters to offer as customers are waiting, respond to Instagram messages (I had sent a question a few weeks prior and didn't hear back), provide little bags to put our photo boxes in, and possibly lower the price a hair to make it a bit more reasonable, or include something else with the session, as I feel that $40 is quite pricey for such a short experience. read more

I loved my experience here. I went with a group of friends for a girls day and really enjoyed it. They are truly the nicest people, warm, friendly and inviting. I felt like my reading was spot on. It really resonated with me and I left with a greater understanding of myself and the energy I project. I really took the time to learn more about it and have been back three more times. It's my understanding there is a color spectrum in auras and so it makes sense that colors would reappear. I can't speak for anyone else, but I would highly recommend. read more
