When I walked over to where she was standing she failed to greet me again as a customer, and never said anything such as "How May I help you?" Once I finally got Jane's attention she just stared at me...so I proceeded to let her know the reason why I'm visiting the store was to find a beige colored piece of fabric to patch up a mark I had on my coat. The first thing Jane told me was "we don't have that type of material." She didn't bother to look at my garment or offer to assist me in finding something similar. She then proceeded to tell me "you can look around yourself." I almost walked out of the store due to her lack of customer service. I was honestly disgusted by her attitude and how rude she was. Jane, I hope you learn how to have basic customer service skills one day because your service was awful towards me.

I so love this place of business, the individuals that work here make you feel so welcome and appreciated. The service that they provide is definitely something I try to aim for in my small business of designing clothing. As a valued customer I have the pleasure of shopping for fabric where ever I chose, I choose Halsey Fabric because at Day 1 I was greeted with outstanding knowledge of fabrics and great customer service. They have a large selection of decorative fabrics, upholstery fabrics, satin, taffeta, lining, plain sheer, solid poly/cotton broadcloth, interlock, and cotton gauze. They always seem to be getting in new fabrics all the time. I think they have very competitive prices on their fabrics. I always seem to find some fabric for my projects when I go there. I think there hour are 10 am to 5:30 or 6 pm. They are good people and helpful. read more
