Then the day before my appointment I got a phone message that the person who was to see me was out sick. I called to reschedule and was told the next available appointment was weeks away. I was at the end of the queue. To me, this is just wrong. AZ Dermatology should try to fit in someone who has waited a long time for an appointment, not just "you go to the end of the line". I will find another provider.

I had a cyst on my back that needed to be removed. Deborah, the NP allowed her MA (MAs get less…read morethan 6 months training on how to take vitals and give shots, definitely not qualified for anything more) to suture the wound unsupervised. I went back for suture removal 3 weeks later, the wound was still not healed and I was told to come back in two weeks. My stitches were removed 5 weeks after the procedure, but the MA that did the removal (bergstrom never looked at the wound) missed a few sutures, so I had to go back next day when I noticed them. The MA placed steri-straps on the wound to "keep it from scarring". Well a year later I still have a huge gaping crater over my spine, I was actually asked if that scar was from a gunshot wound!!! Horrible work, all because the nurse practitioner has better things to do than her actual job
