While grabbing lunch in Princeton, we stopped by after seeing the small coffee shop and their monthly specials grabbed us from the door. The shop was very cute and we had some quick service from Bee who told us about what they do there on a monthly basis with different specials as well as a weekly drink. My partner and I each got an iced holy cannoli coffee. It was delicious. Will definitely try to stop by another time and hang out in the shop. They also do cigar nights, which we told some friends about! We will def be back for more delicious coffee! read more

Coffee chains is not my thing but two that stands outs to be the best in my opinion is illy and Blue Bottle. Hands down my faves. After having lunch in the Princeton area, illy popped up on my Yelp app. The only other times I've had illy was in San Francisco and at an airport in Rome, Italy. And both times it was memorable. We ordered the Espresso Freddo Shakerato, Caffè Latte, and Cappuccino Viennese. Each one crafted with love and attention. You know it's good coffee when it doesn't leave a nasty coffee and sugary taste in your mouth. I savored each sip. Service here is a standout, super friendly with big smiles. Burnt espresso pulled directly into a plastic iced cup, resulting in the cup itself melting, so not only was the coffee expensive and undrinkable, it was a health hazard. Worse than starbucks and that is already an incredibly low bar. read more

I got to try iced single shot aloha mocha latte thru the yelp elite event and it tasted very nice. The Cafe also had a cigar bar and more tables outdoor. But the sittings inside was limited and there weren't much variety of pastry choices. The barista was very friendly and prepared my coffee promptly. read more

Located on a quieter street and more residential neighborhood in Princeton is Illy Coffee at Earth's End. It's a very small coffee shop which is oddly joined to a cigar lounge. It's not cozy like most coffee shops as there's no real place to relax and indoor seating consists of 4 stools along the window. There are a few seats outside, but not ideal for colder temperature months. Service was friendly, but prices are a bit high for what you get. It was $6.50 for a large cafe mocha which turned out to be only 12 ounces in size. The drink itself was about average in taste/quality, with nothing to set it apart from other local coffee spots. While most of the shop did not smell, you could definitely smell cigar odors in some spots from the adjacent cigar lounge, so probably not the best place for people sensitive to the smell of cigars. Personally, I found the cigar smell a bit off-putting, and considering the limited seating, lack of atmosphere, and small drink sizes, I probably wouldn't return given other better options for coffee in Princeton. read more

illy has been one of my favorite Princeton cafes since I found them (I think maybe on Instagram??) a year or so ago. They are tucked off of the main street, give off all of the small & cozy vibes but still have a space drenched in light. I just love it! I am also a sucker for a specialty/seasonal latte every once in a while and they have some I can never pass up. illy Coffee has some seating inside (a counter along the window primarily) as well as a few tables outside, perfect for the nice weather. I wouldn't say it's ideal for remote workers just because you aren't guaranteed a table, but I have seen a few people with laptops open before. My drinks (whether it's my usual oat milk latte, black coffee or a peppermint or lavender special this or that) is always made great and just hits the spot. You'll love the space, you'll love the coffee, and if you smoke cigars, you'll love the smoking room!! I personally don't partake, but I have sent my brother here before and he remarked on how bright and airy the tasting room was, which really isn't typical for most cigar bars. Enjoy! read more

The menu choices were extremely limited and the cigar bar next door made the coffee shop smell horrible! They sold cigars in the coffee shop which also gave the store an unpleasant aroma. People weren't allowed to smoke in the coffee shop or on the outside patio, but the coffee shop smells like a cigar bar. The employees were very pleasant and friendly though. read more

Best coffee in the area! Their lattes are delicious, the baristas are nice and consistently do an excellent job, and the prices are reasonable. There are quite a few tables outside, but unfortunately the weather has been pretty rotten recently so it's been challenging to use them. There's a bar seating area and a couple of (small) tables inside, but generally it feels a little cramped so it's nicer to sit outside. With respect to parking, the Spring Street parking garage is right next door. Overall, I will keep coming back here to enjoy their excellent coffee! read more

Besides the fact that the coffee tasted like actual water with a hint of coffee flavor, the barista named Madeline was the rudest human. I've had the displeasure of coming in contact with in ages. I ordered a coffee and asked for half-and-half. She rolled her eyes at me, slammed the container on the counter and proceeded to give me a lecture that they're not a Starbucks and they just don't have milk readily available . Sorry but literally all I asked for was milk with my coffee which by the way, I asked the nice guy that rang me up if I can just get that added on the side and he said no problem. The coffee isn't the only thing hot here lol hahaha (blushing) I saw this place on my Yelp recommendations and thought it looked interesting. The interior is very beautiful. It's quaint and chic. There were lots of people buzzing in and out of the cafe. Many of which the staff knew by their first name. That was very nice and impressive. I never seen both cigars and coffee share the same roof. The deserts looked delicious (I didn't see any vegan options for pastries) However, my oat milk chai tea was delicious! The patrons around me seemed very pleased with their orders making comments around taste etc. The reusable dining ware is very nice (eco friendly too). It's a great place to study if you can snag a seat. I really like this place. When I was standing in line a women walked in with her dog asking for a cup of water and without hesitation the staff promptly served it to almost as if she ordered from the menu. I came here for a yelp elite event and I will definitely be coming back. The barista was so sweet and friendly. She welcomed us right away and showed us the menu. Once we placed our order, she showed us some features of the coffee shop. I had no idea but there is an exclusive cigar bar attached to the coffee shop. As we talked more, she told us about the history of the coffee shop and specific coffee brand they used. She seemed very knowledgeable of the store and her products. My friend and I ordered an iced lavender honey latte with oat milk. I've never had a drink with lavender before and this did not disappoint. You could smell and taste the lavender. As my friend and I were talking, she provided us with waters, which was very nice. The inside had some stools near a window and there is also an outside patio for additional seats. I would definitely like to go back for the drinks and we found out there are also events held there. Sometimes there are days they host live music. Overall, it's a cool establishment. read more

This has become my favorite coffee shop in Princeton. It's an excellent place to work. It has a surprising amount of seating, much of it outdoors. WiFi is great. Baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. They specialize in espresso drinks (e.g., espressos, cappuccinos, etc.). The coffee is terrific. And very reasonably priced. So I love illy and have been coming here for a long time, so it really pains me to have to write this review but unfortunately this is not the first time something like this has happened. Today I ordered an iced maple latte as normal and it came out unmixed with no toppings. One of the main reasons I go to illy is because of the toppings on the lattes I love them! The experience just isn't the same without it. This has happened a few times in the past as well but today it was just really disappointing! What a very cute spot! Prior to this experience I've only had Illy coffee at United Club, but I was very pleased with today's experience. I ordered a single shot hot espresso latee, iced caramel macchiato and a chocolate chip cookie. I was VERY pleased with how delicious the coffee was. Truly the coffee itself in my opinion is a 5. It's very easy for some to burn the espresso but this definitely was not my experience. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, I was more so wishing they would have been able to heat it up a bit! The area itself is very clean and offers that typical cutesy "hole in the wall" coffee shop vibe that I love. Seating is a bit limited. You can either sit at their elevated counter top or the smaller two people tables to the other side of the shop. Our barista was friendly, patient and informative as she explained all the variety available. My only complaint is the size as I selfishly wish there was more room to come for a study date as well as wishing there was more food options. I'm hopeful that in the future they'll begin to offer more and I'll be able to give them those total 5 stars! read more

I am SO happy this coffee shop opened up!!! They have amazing illy coffee and espresso drinks for my daily jolt of espresso on my way to the office, but also have delicious bakery goodies. Major kudos to whoever was the interior designer because they did a phenomenal job. The entire aesthetic of this cute little coffee shop is on point. My favorite place to get a chocolate croissant in Princeton although the price went up recently to $5. The size is still much larger than other options and the chocolate has a nice subtle fruity flavor. The service is quick and friendly and the seating options are pretty nice. Great place to to have a chat or grab coffee with friends and sit outside for a bit or even study. My favorite drink is the iced matcha with less ice and white chocolate added. read more
