First, very overpriced for all dental work. My 9 year old who never had a cavity went there for a cleaning. The dentist came out telling me she had two cavities- one being so bad it needed a root canal and crown on a baby tooth that would be coming out this or next year. I took my daughter to get a second opinion. She had one very small cavity that was filled without numbing. This place is horrible. To actually try to do unnecessary dental work on children is disgusting. read more

I've been going here my whole life and almost every visit they have told me I have a cavity that needs filling. Now that I'm older I genuinely think they are just money grabbing because my last visit they said it again and I just didn't believe them. I didn't go back there for a year and switched to another place with great reviews who said my teeth looked perfect with no cavities. The receptionist almost always gave me an attitude over the phone or in person which also encouraged my decision to switch dentists. They have very aggressive treatment saying I constantly had cavities and that I needed a root canal at 17yo. This dentist has really gone down hill. I was charged for dental work that was never done, told I would receive a credit for the amount I paid. When it was time to honor the credit no one could find the notes that I was told were put in the chart. When I questioned it I was threatened with being charged a behavioral fee because my daughter was 4 at the time. Parents please be aware if your child is under a certain age they are billing you for a behavioral fee to do dental work that they recommend. This place is a scam. I found a new practice and will be taking all four of my children there. I refuse to give these scammers any more of my money. I suggest you find another dentist before you get scammed as well. read more

Very pleased with my visit today. When the assistant, Jennifer told me the Doctor we normally see for my daughter wasnt here today, I was very upset. Someone should have called me. Jennifer reassured me the Doctor who was here, Dr. Jen was a very great doctor. She indeed was. Dr. Jen is AMAZING WITH KIDS! New favorite doctor. The assistant Jennifer was the highlight of our visit. My daughter was scared to see a new Doctor. Jennifer made my daughter so comfortable and so excited. Always Overbooked. We have waited up to 2 hours for a cleaning. Ridiculous. If I'm 15 minutes late, i have to reschedule.

I was a patient at this office for years. I had a badly abscessed tooth that was so painful and my jaw was swelling up. 24/7 pain. They saw me and told me I needed a root canal and a crown, but their first available for the root canal was in 3 weeks! I came home and cried...so much pain. Didn't offer me anything for pain there. Just one ounce of concern? Don't bet on it...you won't find it here. I came home and called Community Dental in Hamilton. They saw me right away to take a look at my tooth and I have an appointment tomorrow to get my root canal. Community Dental was so friendly, they showed concern for me. To top it off the portion I would have to pay after insurance paid was less than half what Hamilton Dental charged. I will never go to Hamilton Dental again. Their bottom line is making the most money they can. It always feels like you're one of the many cattle being herded in and out when you're there. read more

Professional, reasonable and patient friendly. I had taken my kids to the "monkey doctor" over 20 years ago, but never actually became a steady patient myself until very recently. My kids, as adults now, still go regularly because they will actually provide nitrous for cleaning as well as cavities. Each time I've visited, I was taken within minutes of checking in. The doctors and assistants are very friendly, explaining all the details of the visit. They were known as the monkey doctor since they do have monkeys in cages. Kids must really love this place. They have a miniature playground in the waiting area. All kids leave with balloons. Maybe even some parents as well. The facility is very deceiving in size. While it looks like an old schoolhouse, inside is like a maze with many hallways, patient rooms and offices. They use email for online appointment confirmations. read more

The administrative staff is friendly and professional. However, the hygienists and the dentist were very unprofessional. The Lack of diversity amongst dental staff (dentist) is the first red flag at the Klockner Rd location. My experience with the staff resulted in the following conclusion. Racial bias in pain perception is associated with racial bias in pain treatment in this office. They do not take responsibility for the pain or accountability for their actions. This office is all about the money! A recommendation for a root canal treatment is 100% likely in this office! Do not waste your time going to any of their locations. Even with great dental insurance, the dentist will find a way to bill you $3000 out of pocket for procedures you don't need. My second opinion from a dentist with more years of experience saved my tooth and cost me nothing extra! read more

After 41 years of being a patient as well as my family, we are done with HDA. During my last visit for my sons root canal they had the audacity to hand me a 5 year old invoice!!! After the thousands of thousands we have spent there over the years I found it extremely disrespectful and unprofessional as it was due to their mistake. I am giving it a 1 star for the Looks! I think kids will love the animals and the layout where they can look out of the Glass enclosure. Otherwise I strongly suggest going to a smaller practice where you don't get tossed between multiple doctors,and have to wait for over a month for an appointment, getting a doctor with poor bedside demeanor who is not empathetic to your situation,too many front desk staff who say one thing and don't follow through. read more

I lost a crown during the pandemic and Hamilton saved me! My regular dentist closed shop unexpectedly, so I tried Hamilton in a pinch. They were able to fit me in within a couple of days! My almost 3 year old had a wonderful experience here! Everyone was very nice and worked hard to make my daughter feel comfortable for her first dentist visit. They didn't rush us and were so patient with her. If you have little ones, make sure you ask for Jen Dobzanksi! She is absolutely amazing with kids! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because it did take 20 minutes waiting on the phone to make an appointment and 30 minutes in the waiting room. However, it was worth the wait! read more

BUYER BEWARE. This dental office likes to make money off of their clients insurance. They told me that all three of my kids had 3 to 4 cavities each. Then they told me that I had 4 cavities. Well I took copies of my films from Hamilton Dental to my new office I go to and they told me neither me or my kids have any cavities. Very impersonal. You wait on hold when trying to call to schedule an appointment, only to be put into a voicemail box after waiting 5 minutes. Also, after years of going there, they no longer accept Delta Dental. We were given one month of warning, and now need to find a new dentist anyway. read more

I've been coming to this dentist since I've been a kid. I had a really great experience here today and felt compelled to write a review because every employee I interacted with was so friendly. Diane took me back to the room, and she was quite knowledgeable and really pleasant to chat with. Heather was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, and it was the best cleaning I've ever had. She really took her time, was very through and not rough with any tools. My teeth look awesome. Dr. Collins came in to look at my teeth once they were cleaned and I'll be coming back soon to fix a long-term cosmetic issue (discolored tooth). Dr. Collins proposed a different solution to the problem, which I'm excited to try (since my other option was caping a health tooth, which I didn't want to do)The receptionist who checked me and and the one who checked me out were also both so nice and patient. I went to dr Etter for Invisalign and couldn't be happier with the results! He was attentive to me throughout the process, answering questions and helping out together a course that worked with my lifestyle. This place doesn't even deserve one star. I arrived 20 minutes early to my 11:00 appointment and it is now 15 minutes to 12 and I still have not seen the dentist. These ppl don't care about you or your time. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay away from this place at all costs. This is the last time I sit here and wait to be ignored. Totally annoyed and beyond irritated. This place sucks. To make matters worse, there are about 25 dental hygienist just standing around talking about nonsense. I had some fillings a few years ago, and apparently they didn't do the filling right because at my new dentist, they are saying my old fillings are "leaking through" I got a second opinion and they say the same thing. So not only am I not sure if I originally ever had cavities but now I have to pay again for someone else to work on my teeth. After waiting for an appointment for four weeks to fill a hole in a molar they call me the day before the appointment to cancel stating that the dentist would not be there. Then they send me a text confirmation the day of the appointment telling me that my appointment is still on.????? So they lied to me to get me to reschedule. Love this place! My kids and I had cleanings today (plus an ortho follow-up). We were in and out within an hour! They are always on time, the staff is more than friendly and being a working Mom, having the ability to get everything taken care of simultaneously is a big plus for me! Wonderful Dentists. Clean, efficient, painless and very polite and helpful and caring!!!!! Overall I would give them five stars But for one HUGE PROBLEM: THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!!! If there is an EMERGENCY, it is impossible to make an APT, because THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. During office hours the answer service answers and they DO NOT HELP in any way. Awful. Scheduled my daughter to have all 4 wisdom teeth out over 2 months in advance. Received a call 14 hours before the surgery that I would have to pay $1400 the next day because they were no longer in network with my health insurance. They had more than enough time to check into all this. I have coworkers that have had the same procedure and did not have any out of cost expense-yes they have the same exact insurance. During regular appointments it feels like an assembly line and they always come up with reasons to charge extra. They told my husband that he needed cleanings every 3 months even though we are only covered for every 6. They also put a temporary crown on my daughters tooth 6 months ago and they can't get it off now to put on the permanent cement. Stay far away from the place. read more

Here was my experience. The office kept sending bills to an address I no longer lived at. They sent my $50.00 outstanding bill out to collections and asked me for $108.65 to settle up. There is a 33% interest/fee charged. Had I gotten just one phone call when the bill was outstanding I would have simply paid it. Apparently they do not make phone calls, or send texts. I paid the total outstanding balance. I asked if I could pay what I actually owed. They said no. They would not even consider it. So I got to pay my balance, plus a fine plus 33% interest on everything. My family and I will no longer use this business. read more

After being a patient of this practice for 5 years, I was "dismissed" from care yesterday. Why? As a cancer survivor of head and neck cancer, I had worked with Dr. Lozier and had a mutual agreement that xrays would only be done as clinically necessary based on her clinical exams. Now that Dr. Lozier is no longer with the practice, I have been told I have to submit to xrays once a year without exception or my patient privileges will be revoked. So please be aware that if you are a cancer survivor and have a unique medical history, this practice is unsympathetic to your radiation exposure and are unable/unwilling to be part of your healthcare team. read more

I've been a patient at Hamilton Dental for 10 yrs. the grade of service and professionalism has declined and the prices continues to go up. I am extremely disappointed with their billing systems. They sent me a letter claiming that I owe some outrageous amount of money. I call the office and I am meet with a negative attitude and was promised a phone call back. Unfortunately, I didn't get the call back. However, upon talking to my dental ins. rep., it turns out that Hamilton Dental never sent the claim it , but they send me a letter demanding money (a collections letter at that). Terrible! Had an 8am appointment for my daughter. The staff were in a "meeting" until 8:05 when they finally opened up the windows to start checking people in. Then, when I got up to the front at 8:15am, I was told they had no record of the appointment. We had only scheduled it 4 days before. How could they lose the appointment so quickly!? Staff response was "too bad" with no offer to squeeze us in or schedule a different appointment. Totally unacceptable. We'll never go back. read more

We are a military family that recently moved to the Fort Dix area. A friend referred us to Hamilton Dental, and I am so happy she did! They took extra time and care in making my 11 and 13 year old feel comfortable. The well established facility is clean and comfortable. The entire staff was both welcoming and efficient! Everyone from the front desk staff, to the Dental Assistant, to their Dentist, Dr. Irving Djeng, were pleasant and had wonderful personalities. My kids say this is the best dentist they've ever been to! Everything was perfect, right down to the surprise in the pediatrics area... I used to be one of their patients years ago, the dentists and assistants did a good job, BUT their RECEPTIONISTS were rude and nasty. So yesterday I thought I would give them another try for my 3 year old, since they are good with children, I called their office, their RECEPTIONIST yet again was rude and nasty!!!! She would talk to you like you were a bother to her, I told her my 3 year old has a toothache and we do have delta insurance but I just didnt have it on me, and that I could bring it with me at the time of the appointment. She refused to make any appointments until I give her exact details of my insurance. She wasn't even nice about it. So I hung up and looked for another dentist for my child who was accomodating and welcoming (LITTLE TEETH in hamilton). I dont know who is the head of that place, but they really need to do something about their receptionists! YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS AND MONEY BECAUSE OF THEM!
