I was ready to stop going here as my last 2 appointments I have had to wait and watch 3 other people who in after me go first, even though I was scheduled for the first appt. Then I had an emergency with a tooth that had a prior root canal done. I saw Dr. Schor on Friday and he referred me to Endo to see if tooth was cracked. Overnight it flared up and I was in horrible pain. I called Sat. morning and got their service, then had to call back after 45 minutes as I hadn't received a call back. They prescribed me antibiotics. That night and following day I was still in extreme pain. I called again, again had to wait over 30 minutes so I called back. When I spoke to them, they told me to come in first thing Monday as they didn't consider this a tooth emergency and that they were treating the pain with antibiotics! I had been taking Oxycodone and it wasn't helping relieve the pain, which I told them. Still they wouldn't do anything. So I told them to F-off and that I would be finding another dentist. Found Dr. Wilson online (https://www.facebook.com/Richard-Wilson-DDS-234921920036294) and he was awesome! On top of helping me, he explained everything well and called me first thing this morning to see how I was feeling! That is how you take care of your patients! Too bad he is too far away for routine work for me. My wife and I will no longer being going here! Nice office, but that is all they have to offer. read more

I will never recommend this place for any kind of dental work. I visited this dentist as they were participating in my insurance program. My old dentist had told me that I need filling in teeth 18. However, when I visited this place, they told me that tooth was ok and I needed filling in some other tooth i.e. tooth 30. And my old cap in tooth 31 needed replacement which would cost me about 800 USD plus more. I insisted that I have pain in tooth 18 and pleaded that it should be taken care first. I got appointment for tooth 18 for filling. (The dentist was not happy with it but I insisted) When I went for my appointment, they started drilling in my tooth. The doctor worked on my tooth for about 10 15 minutes and when he was done, he told me that it was only a temporary filling and I needed a root canal. However, the story does not stop here, he told me to see 2 more doctors, a periodontist and an orthodontist to do crown lengthening and some jaw surgery... They convinced me that my tooth was in a bad shape and that I had to go through the procedure in order to save it. The pain I suffered due to open nerve and temporary filling was ridiculous and cannot explain. I was not at all convinced by their explanation and behavior. So decided to take another opinion. My other dentist had no option but to do a root canal on tooth 18 as the nerve was opened. However, they said that I did not need a periodontist and any kind of surgery. My tooth is now perfectly alright and I have no pains at all. Please never visit this dentist. read more

Love love LOVE this office. I chose this group for my son when he was a toddler and have had nothing but positive experiences. Never a long wait, they know who you are when you call and are quick to help resolve any issues. The staff is great. Hygeniest are knowledge and friendly. Dr Rhodes and Schor are both very nice and explain everything very well. My son has had a couple cavities and never even knew he got injections to numb his gums! NO CLUE which is impressive with a 4 year old (at the time). We have had nothing but great pleasant experiences with Imagine! read more

I've been a patient here for a good many years and can honestly tell you I wouldn't go anywhere else. In fact, I've moved away from Lawrenceville and continue to drive the hour-plus to go to this dental practice. You will not find a more professional, compassionate or welcoming staff anywhere. Their skill level is superb - they've invested time (for training) and money (for equipment) in the latest technology so when you need a cap/crown, it's one visit! They make the tooth right there while you wait. The hygienists and dental techs are great, every last one of them. I am consistently relaxed in the dental chair because I know I'm in the best hands. Drs. Rhode and Messina are supremely talented in what they do and, I have to say, even their injections don't hurt. If there were more than five stars to rate this practice, I'd give them more. read more

I have been going to Dr. Schor for years and have even seen both Dr. Rhode and Dr. Mesina - I've never been disappointed and have always felt calm and comfortable from the moment I walk in the door. Aside from the pristine office, beautiful salt water fish tank, the comfort of the chairs, and the spa like service I am offered - the treatment I receive from the staff is always warm and welcoming. Not only do I receive email and text message reminders (both are options you can choose to remind you of your appointments) but I also receive birthday and holiday e-cards! I never have to wait longer than 10minutes for my appointment (which at a doctors office is unheard of) and I'm always informed about what I need to have done and why. Dr. Schor spends time explaining everything in a way that I can understand and also answers all of my questions and concerns in detail. I have never been pushed to get something done and prior to any procedure have always been told what something will cost me. I recently went in to the office to discuss whitening options and was offered a new at home way that has not caused any sensitivity whatsoever. From someone who suffers from very sensitive teeth, I am so grateful and feel more confident every day when I smile. It's unfortunate this office has a low rating because it certainly is well above other practices in the area. I highly recommend Imagine for all of your dental needs. I had the worst experience that I have ever had at a dentist. Despite telling them that I didn't need x-rays and a cleaning (as I had a tooth that was bothering me and my priority was getting it taken care of), and taking time off specifically to get that tooth fixed, they proceeded to take x-rays and clean my teeth then proceeded to tell me that they did not have time to fix the tooth that was bothering me. When I explained this, they told me they couldn't do it as someone was scheduled after me. They could see my displeasure and came back and told me the patient had cancelled. Dr. Christie (not listed on website - must be subcontractor?) proceeded to replace a filling in my front tooth that didn't need replacing and that I didn't ask to have done. He did a horrible job and when he was done, he hadn't filed it properly and one tooth was shorter than the other. During all this, the laughing gas didn't work (one of the reasons I chose this practice) and midway through we had to change rooms and two pieces of equipment broke. About a week after going there, the front tooth that was worked on chipped. When I called the office, they said they would fix it for free since they wanted me to be happy with the work. About a month after they fixed it the second time, it chipped again and they told me that they wouldn't be fixing it for free anymore and that it was basically my fault because I was putting too much pressure on my front teeth. So now I'm out several hundred dollars (and will have to pay another dentist to fix their mistake), never got the work done I wanted and needed, and have a front tooth that will now give me problems as it is now weaker from the work that they did. I wish I read the first review on yelp before going to this place. I went there because of a mild toothache and Dr. Schor told me that I cracked my tooth in half somehow, which might have been true. He said he needed to clean the cracked part and put a crown in place. But unfortunately, he just drilled it so bad that he exposed my nerves that even with numbness I jumped out of the seat couple of times. He kept telling me that it' was normal to feel sensitive until i had my permanent crown. Well, I had my permanent crown a month later, but sensitivity got just a little better. When I insisted that it didn't feel normal, he got annoyed and just left the room without talking to me further!! It's been over 3 months and I still cannot chew anything on my right side. I'm so dissappointed that I didn't even go for follow up. I'll have to have it fixed by a root canal most probably. But definitely not going to this place ever again!!!! read more

Everyone talks about the horror stories at the dentist office, well my encounter was nothing of that sort!!! My first interaction with the staff at Imagine Advanced Dental Arts was with Sandy. She was nothing short of amazing, her attention to detail and concern about my needs was phenomenal. The Dental Assistants that worked with me for my entire process Sue G. and Kathleen B. were amazing, they were extremely gentle and explained everything to me from the beginning to the end. Dr. Maria Rhode was the icing on the cake she promised me from the beginning that she would do her best to put a Crown on my #9 tooth (which another dental office told me wasn't possible). She explained that it may take an awhile to match the Crown to my other teeth but assured me I would be happy with the results. I was more than happy with the results, I cried when she put my temporary tooth in, it looked so natural and I was amazed how well she was able to blend it to my regular teeth. I really feel that this Dental Office is more like family after my procedure and they now have a loyal and dedicated customer. read more
