Let me tell you about my experience with this group of wonderful, compassionate people. First, I'm a retired law enforcement officer living on my pension and social security. While I was looking at one of these "look how much" ads posted my Tuttle, I received a phone call from them . Come of in for a free x-ray and evaluation. I explained that I was looking for dentures as implants are out of my price range. Don't worry they said , we have many options to help with the cost . So I agreed and went in. I was lead into the back by some bubbly, can't stop smiling teeny bopper. As I sat there she starts in with the implants and I'm in luck, just look what I can get for only $30,000 !! Are you insane ? Not today, let's just start with dentures . So smiley leaves me sitting by myself for a while ( no x-ray or exam) then when she returns she informs me that the dentist isn't excepting new patients for dentures only the 30k implant patients are welcome !! We recently moved around the area and my youngest daughter needed dental care. Caroline is by far the best Dentist my daughter has ever had. Her care and attention to detail is what caught my eye.. it's the small things, she went out of her way to ensure my daughter didn't see the equipment she was going to use to pull my daughters tooth out. I can state this enough, I was in for a crown due to a broken tooth, not only is Dr. Tuttle a gentleman but his entire staff will treat you like family. I recently had a crown (that was put on by another dentist), pop off - leaving me in some pain and discomfort. Dr. C so graciously squeezed time for me in her schedule the SAME day to repair it. I could not be more grateful for her accommodating me so quickly! When I arrived, she asked me some questions, examined the area and was able to discern right away that it was able to be saved and could simply be cemented back into place. She not only cleaned and repaired it for me, but took the time to explain why this may have occurred, what was going on underneath the crown, and how to ensure it stays in place going forward. In addition, I've also had a Zoom whitening treatment done at this office and it whitened my teeth to what Dr. Tuttle called "refrigerator white"! I couldn't be more pleased with the results - and they still look "refrigerator white" nearly 2 years later :) The entire office staff from the front desk to the dental assistants are super friendly. I love the family atmosphere you feel when you walk through the door. I've always been kind of a baby when it comes to going to the dentist, but this office really has a way of putting you at ease. Watch your wallet. I have been going to Dr. Tuttle for about ten years. After trying a few other dentists in the area, I decided his staff was the friendliest and most professional. However, I always felt like they were trying to push additional treatments on me. I have decided it's time to change because they have decided I should pay for their mistake. When my insurance changed, they did not inform me that they were not being reimbursed. After a year, I was in a position to pay out-of pocket. At that visit, they informed me of my outstanding balance. No notice or invoice in between. We straightened out the insurance, but since the claim was over a year old, it was rejected. Now they want me to pay. Bottom line - okay, but slightly gruff staff; make sure you stay on top of your insurance, they won't read more

TUTTLE dental office was a lifesaver for me. I was going to another unnamed doctor previous my first visit at TUTTLE. I complained of a toothache for over a year at the other dentist office with no relief. Dr. TUTTLE within minutes was able to diagnose me, and gave me two emergency root canals because my previous dentist did not catch the problem. The team takes time to address the issues in a calm and inquisitve manor. I strongly recommend TUTTLE dental care for any dental needs. This is my second review I'm writing for the incredible people who built this practice. From the time I call to make my appointment then the walk in the door, next into the chair to see Dr. Caroline who has treated me as if we've known one another our entire lives. Dr. Tuttle peeks in on us now and then and always has the biggest smile and kindest words to say. It feels like being at lunch with family every couple months, only with novocain :) I believe I shocked the entire family in the beginning haha!! My story is one for the books and they never once made me want to run for the door and not look back. I love them for placing that blanket over my shoulders like family would do so I knew everything will always be just fine while I'm there with them. Then Sandra with her incredible patience while I constantly blabber, I thank you. Dr. Caroline, you made it possible for me to smile again, at a time in my life when I never thought I would. In my opinion there of other, more experienced dentists (ABSOLUTELY NOT YOUR DAD) who can learn a lot about empathy by sitting in on one of your appointments now and then. What a fabulous experience! I've visited Dr. Tuttle's office for the first time today for a routine exam x-rays and a teeth cleaning. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a friendly hello from two fabulous woman at the front desk and they gave me a gift bag full of goodies for my smile. The office was updated, pristinely clean, and private. Every single person was so friendly. It has been eight years since I've visited the dentist last because of my fear of "the dentist". No one made me feel ashamed or embarrassed of the fact that I haven't been properly taking care of my teeth for so long. Dara my X-ray technician was so friendly and made me feel right at home like I've been going there for years. Dr. Tuttle was excellent from start to finish explaining everything in detail of what was going on and his future plan for taking care of my teeth. read more

Beware how much you will pay out of pocket from Tuttle. I called and asked if they accepted my insurance before my visit. The receptionist told me Tuttle did, and "they had many patients like me". Fast forward to the exam. Everything was routine, though I noticed they took an usually large quantity of x-rays. When asked, Tuttle told me it was for a "comprehensive baseline" for future visits (18 x-rays in all) Now I received a $200 bill because Tuttle was out of network and the x-rays were not covered. Everyone at this dental office is amazing. I hadn't been to the dentist in seven years, and with each passing year became more and more paralyzed by anxiety and fear of going to the dentist. After dealing with a broken filling for close to a year, I bit the bullet and went to them. As soon as I walked in, the administrative staff as well as the dental hygienists were so warm and welcoming that you didn't realize you were in a dental office! Both of the doctors there are really great and explain what they are doing as they do it so you don't feel out of the loop. (Although, they won't do that if you ask them not to.) I really never write reviews on this, but I felt the need to write one so other people who hate going to the dentist can feel more at ease. Today I got a thorough cleaning and a filling and am in no pain. I can't recommend Tuttle Dental Care enough! read more

All they care about is money! I've been going to them for about 4 years now, and I feel like my eyes are really open for the first time! They don't care about you, they only care about your money. My last visit was an impromptu visit because I was worried I had a cavity due to the sensitivity in my teeth to temperature. They took another x-ray for the second time in 2 months. Then they said they don't see a cavity but that I might need a root-canal, and that I needed to see a specialist because they don't diagnose root-canals there. Then after I had the diagnosis/root canal done elsewhere I would have to go back to them so they could perform the sealing of the tooth the root canal was done on. I asked them what the other option was in case it wasn't in need of a root canal. (I've never even had a cavity before so how I suddenly needed a root canal was mind boggling.) Dr. Tuttle said if I didn't need a root canal I could try sensitive teeth tooth paste, but that "we will cross that bridge when we get there." Never went to the root canal "specialist" just bought some sensodine tooth paste, low and behold it was all I needed. They send out annual e-mails to people reminding them "As we near the end of your insurance year, we wanted to remind you to take advantage of any unused dental benefits. Every year you receive a maximum amount from your dental insurance company, and in most cases the unused portion of this amount is lost when the new insurance year starts. These are benefits you have already paid for!"They try to squeeze the most money out of people possible, and I am angry I didn't notice this sooner when they kept pressuring me to get x-rays. I don't like getting x-ray because the bite never fits my mouth and always cuts the inside, and they would pressure me to get them even after I said I got them the previous year, and nothing has changed. I even tried to ask if we could do it ever 18 months because it makes me so anxious and they were not flexible, and would continue to pressure me to get them. Never going there again! Even though I haven't found a dentist I like to replace them. read more

Dr Tuttle and his staff are the best! He took great care of my husband and I and our two boys (3 and 6) for 3 years. The reception staff are so friendly and make things so smooth on their end. The hygienists are gentle but thorough. And Dr Tuttle himself is a true professional. He is obviously experienced but stays up to date on the latest technology. I had a difficult filling but he was persistent until he made it right and I was satisfied. I'm so sad we had to move out of the area. I've been through some bad dentists in the past and a good one is like gold! This is a hard practice to live up to! read more
