5 stars for Pennington Dental! After having been going to my previous dentist for the entirety of my tooth-caring years, it was with trepidation that I sought out a new practice when we moved. Pennington dental was recommended by a friend of ours so we decided to check it out. Thanks to their website, I was able to book my appointment online (and change it when i realized I had a scheduling conflict) - huge win. The office is very nice, and despite my first visit being during the time of Covid, I felt cared for and safe through my visit. My hygienists' name was Devon, and she was an absolute delight. The doctor as well was professional yet friendly, and both answered my endless questions. There was hardly a wait, despite my appointment being at midday. I have had an extreme fear of the dentist due to a traumatic experience as a child. Every dentist appointment was met with extreme anxiety and fear. Every staff member at Ewing and Pennington Dental have treated me with nothing but kindness, and patience. I would like to commend Devon, my dental hygienist, who makes me feel comfortable and cleans my teeth with a handheld instrument due to my fear of the Cavitron. She is the best!! What I thought would be a terrifying experience actually turned out to be manageable!! Thanks to Dr. LIsa Yosevitz gentle and compassionate approach I no longer suffer with major anxiety going to the dentist. She was able to keep me calm by explaining every step and reassuring me along the way with her calm, patient demeanor. If you have dental trauma or anxiety, I cannot recommend them enough! read more

If you have ever had an hold ups against dentist, you can toss them all!!! Dr. Lisa is positively the BEST DENTIST to ever walk this earth. You can tell that she truly cares about her patients and it shines like a beacon of light in the darkness. It doesn't matter the issue you come in with she takes perfect care of you with a grace that is amazing. I am writing to share the super easy experience I had at Pennington Dental Associates. About a month ago I realized I had to have my wisdom tooth extracted. I know your are thinking there is no way that a trip to the dentist to get a wisdom tooth pulled was an easy experience but it was. To begin with, I was in and out of the office in under an hour. A plus when you value your time. Secondly, I had to have my top wisdom tooth extracted and was just a teeny bit nervous about the pain. Okay, I was a lot nervous but that is besides the point. Dr. Steve was amazing. There was virtually no pain what-so-ever when he extracted the tooth and the entire staff was friendly and completely professional. Later that same night, I was told to take Motrin in the event there was any pain. I took the Mortrin but by late evening I felt no pain in the area where the tooth was pulled. The next morning, I was amazed that there wasn't even the slightest bit of swelling or residual discomfort in the area. It was as if I had had the tooth pulled years ago. it healed overnight. I hope this helps people who are putting off dental work. These guys are great. Super clean office, totally accommodating staff, and the professionalism is commendable. As an aside, I also go to to Pennington to get my teeth cleaned. They do a thorough and amazing job. Give them a try. I travel an hour each way to go there and they are worth the trip. read more

Great visit, as I recently went in for a routine check-up and cleaning and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Goodman and his staff are upbeat, efficient and caring. Scheduling was easy and I was able to get an early morning appointment. His staff was willing to help me understand billing/insurance questions. The office is clean and has an overall warm feeling. I was seated on time and all of the staff seem very happy to be there, which was nice to see. I returned to have two cavities filled and walked away impressed as from start to finish I felt no pain. Just as important the space where I always trapped food is now gone. read more

Excellent customer services. It is obvious the owners truly care about the business. Biggest downside is trying to book appointments. They are no longer accepting appointments on Saturday's. They do not have early options starting at 8 for those who want to go prior to work or options until 6pm. This is very frustrating for those who work full time. It is impossible to schedule in the summer and in December (I was told they will be closed for 1/2 the month). I've been going here for a long time but sadly I'm going to have to leave this practice due to the lack of availability. I hope in the future you offer more times for those who work because I really love coming here. read more

EXCELLENT dental practice! After having the same dentist for 9 years I started seeing Dr. Paul following a move to the area. I had been experiencing a significant problem with this one tooth for years, and he finally got real with me and told me to give up the struggle and have it extracted and get an implant. PS he did it MUCH nicer than that, imformative, thoughtful, but honest. After much contemplation, because of its significant cost IMO, I decided to take the plunge. Thank God I listened. After a 10 month journey I have my smile back! The office staff is nice and my appointment times are always held firm and prompt. Their systems are up to date, linking my appointments right to Google calendar and the office is clean and high tech. If you are looking for a practice that has their stuff together, this is the one. I wish I could give them less than one star. The staff is unprofessional and scheduling with them is awful. They have canceled appointments last minute. They make you wait in the waiting room forever, then make you wait in the chair. They don't realize people have other things to do and we can't all be on their time. There are many dentists in the area, skip this place and go to another dentist. I was asked by them to take this down but this is NOT a fake review. I was a patient there. read more

All I can say, they scared the hell out of me to put an implant in my mouth. They extracted a back of my mouth tooth and at that time, scared me into the implant stating that I'd probably "lose other teeth" if I didn't get the implant. I should have never agreed but I allowed it because I've always taken great care of my teeth and didn't want to lose them. It's been close to 4 yrs. since the horrendous procedure and I still have pain around the implant area. It's very difficult to brush near the implant because of the "electrical shocking" pain. I'm extremely angry since it cost me over $4000 to give me this constant pain for the rest of my life. I'd suggest thinking long and hard before getting an implant from Pennington Dental. Until this procedure, I was very pleased with Dr. Goodman (the father) and spent quite a few years going to this practice. It's upsetting to have to write such a bad review but after these last years of suffering and the fact that nothing can be done to ease the pain, I felt it was my duty to let others know and be cautious before deciding to get an implant.. read more

Pennington Dental is awesome! I had been seeing them since 2001, they are always professional and honest about pending dental work. Always given a choice especially when finances are a factor. They have always been willing to work with me and by far provide the best hygienic care around. Dr. Goodman and sons have always accommodated my needs or my son's needs at the time. My older son had his two upper front teeth broken in half straight across the middle, years ago, and Dr Goodman seen him that day as an emergency visit and calmed both of our fears and fixed the problem that day. The cleanings provided are above and beyond the standard of care expected, tailored to each patients needs. Knowing I have very sensitive teeth, the hygienist has always does a great job at making me comfortable and relatively free of pain during routine cleanings. They office atmosphere is relaxing, wait time is very minimal and all staff is helpful and friendly. Recently I had no choice but to take my youngest son else where and I was applaud by the lack of compassion and poor care he received. He is only 12 and will remember this horrible experience he went through this week. He had his last cleaning a year ago at Pennington Dental which was done properly, the correct amount of time was spent with him to assure good hygiene. This week he was taken else where due to insurance, and it took only 5 minutes for 2 extractions and a cleaning. A through cleaning alone after a year should have taken at least 20 minutes or so, and with 2 extractions, he should have been given more time to numb up the area. I am very upset with the care my child received from the other and their standards of care were basically non existent in his situation. At this point, I may call Dr Goodman and pay for a good cleaning as my child is set up for orthodontist in May and I want him to start from a good place. PENNINGTON DENTAL IS BY FAR THE BEST AROUND!!! AS SOON AS INSURANCE ALLOWS, THEY WILL BE PROVIDING ALL OUR DENTAL CARE!!! read more

I have gone to Dr Goodman for the past 17 years. My ex husband still goes bi-annually as do all my children who not only still go, but are all no longer in the area and STILL make sure that when they are coming home they make an appointment to see Dr Goodman. The care is excellent and we have ALL found that the new dentists in the group, both Dr Goodman's sons, are superb. Our teeth have been kept in magnificent shape, the hygienists and gentle and thorough, and no procedure is done that you do not feel warranted. They are fair and do not push un-needed work on you, including x-rays if not imperative. None of us have ever left feeling we were treated unfairly in anyway. Much the opposite. And another very important observation: their staff stays !!!!!!! Both hygienists have been there forever and there is front desk staff who keep staying on. THIS says so much about the attitude of this doctor's office. It's a family of people who stay together, work together and give their patients continued fabulous service. read more
