    Here it is Saturday 6-20-26 and Abbott Air could not even give us a courtesy of a phone call…read more Thursday, we had to call for service our house was 82 and the humidity was 57 and getting warmer. We have a contract with Abbott Air and a whole house dehumidifier they installed less than a year ago. Service tech Xavier was sent out and got our AC running after he had to disconnect our whole house dehumidifier. He explained to us that he did not know how to fix what was the problem with our dehumidifier and he would give this problem to his supervisor and he would be in contact with us on Friday. Friday at 12:17 I received a tech that Xavier was coming back out and on his way. WHY would you send a tech back out for the dehumidifier problem when he did not know how to work on it. Two hours went by and a no show from Xavier. At 4:00 my husband called Abbott Air and the customer service girl did not know anything about the situation. She was going to get with the service advisor. Well, here it is Saturday and at 8:30 am my husband called to see what the story was and again the customer service girl read the notes and said Xavier referred the problem to the service advisor manager, and she would have him call on Monday. WHAT?? They installed the dehumidifier at a hefty price and had problems with it from the beginning. I felt like they did not know what they were doing and at one I printed off information from Aprilaire to diagnose the problem and found they had it wired incorrectly. If you sell a product then you should have technicians who know how to diagnose the problem and work on that product. At this point I am ready to change our service contract and after reading other complaints I think I am going too do just that. VERY DISSATIFIED with them.
