After Mike from Bowersox spent nearly five hours installing the new coil, Bowersox tech discovered the real problem was a leak in the Freon line that was installed under the house when it was built in 2005. Mike is returning tomorrow to run a new line through the attic. In the meantime, we've been without air conditioning for more than a week. Bowersox immediately provided us with a portable unit to keep our bedroom comfortable, and they've been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Their team has gone above and beyond -- working hard to diagnose the problem correctly and taking care of us while we wait for the permanent fix. Had a "BIG " company come in after they just bought the small local company I had been dealing…read morewith. They arrived and conducted their so called bi-annual service. Never cleaned the filters, (2) units, in and out in 15 minutes. Said the system is creeping 10 years old, everything should be replaced. Two weeks later system failed. Called Merrill's. Prompt, courteous, informative. Replaced blower motor and review of system all good. Hard to find a company today that believes that integrity keeps customers.
