Thompson provided us a quote that seemed reasonable given the extent of work - primarily replacement of the electrical panel - and I was able to schedule a time with them for the job to be done. They must be in demand because it was about 3 weeks out! On the scheduled day, the electrician promptly arrived early in the morning and set-up shop in our garage to complete the work. He kept me updated about when the electric would be shut off, when it was back on, checked all of the rooms to be sure he could notate which switches went to which areas of the house, and then explained the new panel configuration when the job was done. He was out there working for most of the day and even put up some painted board around the panel to hide that the drywall out there had to be cut for the work to be done. I was expecting we'd have to patch that up ourselves and now it looks quite nice!

After checking reviews on Angie's List and Better Business Bureau ratings, I contacted Radon Solutions. They had worked in my condo complex prior to this, so they knew what to expect under my unit. There are many steps that can be taken to seal and protect a home from Radon. It would be overkill to do them all. I had researched enough to know that with any Radon Mitigation company, they would do one step at a time until I was below the 4.0 Radon limit. They quoted me a price. We made an appointment for the next week. They were EXACTLY on time, polite, clean, and worked quickly. They brought pieces of rugs to lay a "trail" between the front door and my crawlspace entrance. No dirt or mud was tracked in. In about 4 hours, the air exchanger was installed, and a commercial air test machine was left behind. 2 days later the machine was picked up. I was still over 4.0, so another appointment was made for a few days later. Radon Solutions came back and installed some flexible hosing to the back corners of my crawlspace. The test machine was again left. 2 days later they came back. Oh, no! I was at 4.9. Another appointment was made, Radon Solutions returned, and they sealed the cinder block walls of my crawlspace. Yes, they left the air testing machine again. BINGO! My home tested well below the 4.0 limit. The price quoted to me on the phone, was the final price I paid. Nothing extra was added on; the extra visits and work were all included. I highly recommend Radon Solutions to anyone needing this service.

In 2007 we built our home and hired Summit Excavating to install a new septic system. The tank was…read moreinstalled near the back of our home and the mound was installed at the rear of our lot. A few years later we found that the mound was built partially on our neighbors property and had to be altered. Summit looped off about 20' of the mound to remove it from the neighbors yard. The mound was then too small for our house. The mound began to leak causing a large wet area both in our yard and our neighbors. I called Jim Easterling and told him about the problem he tried unsuccessfully to get the end of the mound to seal, I called him several more times and he stopped responding to my calls. The mound has now completely failed with swampy areas at both ends and middle of the mound. I now have to spend a significant amount of money to change my entire system. This company is run by a lazy owner who fails to make things right. I would recommend anyone considering hiring them to look elsewhere
