After checking reviews on Angie's List and Better Business Bureau ratings, I contacted Radon Solutions. They had worked in my condo complex prior to this, so they knew what to expect under my unit. There are many steps that can be taken to seal and protect a home from Radon. It would be overkill to do them all. I had researched enough to know that with any Radon Mitigation company, they would do one step at a time until I was below the 4.0 Radon limit. They quoted me a price. We made an appointment for the next week. They were EXACTLY on time, polite, clean, and worked quickly. They brought pieces of rugs to lay a "trail" between the front door and my crawlspace entrance. No dirt or mud was tracked in. In about 4 hours, the air exchanger was installed, and a commercial air test machine was left behind. 2 days later the machine was picked up. I was still over 4.0, so another appointment was made for a few days later. Radon Solutions came back and installed some flexible hosing to the back corners of my crawlspace. The test machine was again left. 2 days later they came back. Oh, no! I was at 4.9. Another appointment was made, Radon Solutions returned, and they sealed the cinder block walls of my crawlspace. Yes, they left the air testing machine again. BINGO! My home tested well below the 4.0 limit. The price quoted to me on the phone, was the final price I paid. Nothing extra was added on; the extra visits and work were all included. I highly recommend Radon Solutions to anyone needing this service.
